  • Nigeria is the original home of the Igbos but there are other parts of Africa and the world where you can find the Igbos.
    Eg Equatorial Guinea, Gabon etc
Find out how they got there! Subscribe to our newsletter: Candour.substack.com

Good information 👍. It would be nice to see a full documentary and ethnographic research based on this, comparing Igbo culture in igboland and those of Igbo descent in other countries. Well done ✅

And how come a star of david was found in igboland by british arch. Also go and search the old nigerian flag. U will also see that star there. One thing i dislike about some of u nigerians is that, u people dont know and u dont want to learn. Igbo history was deleted out from history by britan. U can never know much about igbo or nigerian history in nigeria because they dont want u to know who u are. Somerines its better to keep mute than to comment and make a fool of urself

This is a poor video. It does not explain anything. It would have been better and indeed interesting to explain the facts in voice orally rather than script explanation. Such important historical account of a Race or People is better given with spoken words than just scripting or subtitle. Please do the video again with improvement.

Stop misleading people, the is nothing as indigenous Igbo's in Cameroonian, all Igbo's in Cameroon came there as immigrants, seeking economic growth, I am Igbo, born in Cameroon, tell me a town where indigenous Igbo's live in Cameroon as their own.

Hello Emma, thanks for your comment.
There have been reports on Igbos in neighbouring African counties including Cameroun since the 1800s.
Just like the Fulanis who migrated to the northern parts of Nigeria and have made Nigeria their permanent home to this day.
In future, we are going to explore this topic more.
Until then, kindly like, and subscribe for more on African history
