Great video! I also used the dremel tool and it worked wonders! First I used the dremel to sand away the paint from the enclosure. Next, I then used a dremel polishing wheel to polish all contact points! So I put a mirror finish on the enclosure, the heatsink and the Hermes Lite contact area too. Smart man to use the thermal paste...I too used the exact MK-4. I like to do things right the first time. Thanks for your informative video! Well done!

really enjoyed watching that, makes me want to buy one :-)
Hi there, fantastic video. Did you put the Thermal Paste on the Heat Shrinks as well? Thanks mate
Never use Artic silver in hf projects, and the dremel is also a no go!!
So what was the red cable used for because nobody can work that out I can’t even work it out and I’ve got one
Nice video Kurt de ON8EI John.
Does it matter if it is conductive or non conductive thermal paste?
No, as long as it doesn't get on any of the circuit board contacts or components.
Where do you get one I haven't been able find them even if I google it
did you put thermal in the last one on top of processor?
Nope. The small thermal heatspreader comes with a double sided glue, it is a sticker. No need to use thermal paste to keep it on the processor?
What shop did you buy it in?
