- My baby girl goes through about 12-14 diapers a day...basically every hour that she is awake at the slightest tinkle. In today's mom vlog, I am vlogging my first day using cloth diapers. I wanted to do a dedicated mom vlog for cloth diapering because I didn't find reassurance in the cloth diapering videos I found of "actual beginners." Definitely look up how to adjust the rise setting on the front of the diaper. It will help with the leg gaps. 😍 you did so good at showing what it’s really like just getting started! 👍🏼

Hi Victoria, I’ve been cloth diapering my child for 8 months now. When my child was not eating solids yet, I never rinsed her diaper before putting it in the wet bag, and it’s ok. Breastfed poop and formula poop are water soluble. It shouldn’t ruin your washer. If you feel more comfortable with rinsing the poo before putting it in the wet bag then that’s ok too. I just thought I’d let you know. I know how intimidating cloth diapering is, and I’ve been discouraged by a lot of people not to do it. So good on you for doing it and good luck 🤗

Hi so if you adjust the rose setting (the vertical snaps) the lag gaps will fit better ! You are doing good for your first day. So just adjust the rise and you should get a better fit. Good luck momma ❤️
Overnights are tricky ! Microfiber tends to not hold as much at night. Did you already dry doubling the inserts for night time ? As in using two inserts for night time and one during the day? If so and that still didn’t work I recommend flat cloth diapers folded into a rectangular pad shape and inserting it into the pocket. Those crazy absorbent 🧽

Hi! Sorry for the delay. I used a similar amount as I did in this video. Maybe 4-6 changes a day when she was less than six months old. I posted two updated videos, and in the second one I talk about how what has changed. Depending on the day, it could also range 8-10 but it depends on how you layer your diapers, etc. Not nearly as often as how much I was changing her disposable diapers though (Thank God!).

I have not heard of that brand. I've only ever used Alvababy, but I did like the bamboo inserts that I had. I just repurchased new Alvababy diapers for our third baby due next month.
How is your husband with the cloth diapers?
