I had the same grade 3 ac tear on my right shoulder years ago, surgery is no fun, screw in your shoulder for 2 months and you cannot move your arm during that time. after that few more months of rehab and your arm is still half the size than the other one. Poor Tahnee! Wish her well
PETI T. She hasn’t had any screws put in. They have drilled a hole in her collarbone and put an artificial ligament in, so it is all held in place while everything recovers. Had the same operation myself as had grade 4 ac tear. Was surprisingly quick to heal up and be able to strengthen back up again. I imagine that’s why she is going for the op to try and be back for end of season. Shame about your experience that doesn’t sound good at all
I had an ac joint seperation rockwood 4. It was fixed with the tight rope technique. My doctor said no downhill for 6 month after the surgery.

Great stuff Ben. Would love to see the outcome of the line choices you’ve spotted with more ghost footage and your prediction on the section that will be key this year. Will it be out of the gate or where they have taped that big tree stump that means bucking to flat could kill your speed. Plus did you think the Naughty Northumbrian first year Race was a crazy enduro with some ripping lines?
