I feel like if Kong focused on Godzillas leg, instead of just hitting it once with the axe, he definitely could’ve boosted his chances at winning, or at least stalemating. To be fair, bro didn’t really want to fight. That’s not to say he wasn’t trying, but he just wanted a better home to go to.

As a Godzilla fan, I actually appreciate the analytical level of this video. While it is possible to kill Godzilla, these are some VERY extreme and specific circumstances. Not even the best of circumstances. Could it been possible? Yes. If there was a simulation that was ran about 1000 battles, would we see versions of Kong Winning? It is possible. Do I believe that the win to lose ratio would be in Godzilla's favor? Oh very much so.
Out on 1000….he loses 1000. Let’s be real, even the battle we saw, they tried to give Kong a chance when he had none. There’s nothing Kong could do EVER.
Yeah, these are some incredibly circumstantial outcomes that are almost impossible to actually achieve, like, how the hell can a giant ape chilling on a island with a couple of deformed lizards and whatever, stand a chance against me, a literal god among earth who defeated two emo-edgy Romeo-Juliet and literal angy zappy space spaghetti with wings and legs? Whom in which all can destroy the world, may I mind you.

Cmon man let’s be real yes he would win a lot but he’s definitely not winning 100% of the time. Kongs forearms are probably the strongest of the Titans and with those arms behind that axe (especially charged up which seems pretty easy to do) Godzilla’s has to deal with one of the most powerful weapons we’ve seen so far. Especially after what that thing did to mecha Godzilla who was curb stomping the og Godzilla, just 5 hits and that’s all she wrote. Full health to dead, that things crazy, if Godzilla doesn’t want to charge it that’s his best weapon that he now can’t use and from there it’s more even. I’d say it’s still 30% to 70% with the axe 10% to 90% without (with Godzilla being the favorite to win) I get favoring him to win but 0-1000 is delusional. The films depiction fell into that 70% so say what you want but he’s got a chance.

Even I'm a Godzilla fan but I can't help but to admit that I'm glad that somebody out there other than myself can show that Kong is a worthy fight and that if kong didn't stand a chance then there would be no reason to make the film in the first place, he is a good fighter and he deserves a lot more credit than people give him
The last one is highly unlikely, if godzilla underbelly was able to resist a point blank blast from both mecha g and gidorah, i dont think the battle axe woudl do much, especially since mecha g beam haa way more piercing power and force behind it compared to the battle axe.
All this changes if the battle axe is charged though
I mean think about it, in the movie, we saw kong's axe pierce godzilla's heavily armored leg, so the underbelly would be way worse, possibly liquidizing some of his organs if the axe is charged. Plus, if Mechagodzilla's beam didn't pierce into godzilla's underbelly, then surely godzilla's own atomic blast wouldn't because mechogodzilla is supposed to be stronger than godzilla in every way possible. But given that one of the strongest titans of the monsterverse strikes godzilla's underbelly with an axe that is sharp, grippy, and charged with a substance hotter than lava, kong would definitely be able to pierce godzilla's underbelly, and that's if he's just standing normally, if he got a running start, he would definitely pierce it, even more than that if he jumped from a higher place than godzilla's underbelly, he would do so much damage that godzilla might even die instantly.

@@alexrock8264 Monsterverse Godzilla does have regeneration but it's extremely slow compared to previous incarnations and might as well be non-existent do to it taking forever. Don't expect him to grow his arm back after being ripped off or breaking his jaw back into place if Kong does that to him. As an example of course.

I think we are forgetting that Godzilla has one of the greatest healing factors in cinema and comic history.
Not really it would take him potentially years to heal from the oxygen destroyer, the only reason he got up so quickly was because of the humans but since the humans want Kong to win the obv won’t try healing Godzilla with nukes.

It's one of the deadliest weapons ever created in this universe against a Kaiju, any other kaiju like Kong, Scylla, Behemoth etc. etc. any of them would have easily died from that weapon because they simply don't have nearly as good of a healing factor or overall protection like Godzilla, while it may take years for Godzilla to recover from that weapon, a simple cut or slash will not, Godzilla healing factor is way better and has actually been boosted ever since, Godzilla can even heal while using the nuclear pulse, not only does it give Godzilla massive AOE damage but also heals any wound and or fatigue he had before.

Though he can regenerate, it's not like ghidorah's where he can regenerate instantly. In KOTM, he has to hibernate in a place where there's a lot of radiation to be able to regenerate, and its not all his wounds either. Just something to note.

This version of Godzilla (Legendary Monsterverse) ALSO has instant regeneration like Ghidorah, strongly implied in the official novels.
The exception was with the oxygen-destroyer (not an ordinary weapon), that can liquify any living-organism and kill them on the molecular level (Godzilla surviving that it’s also an amazing feat).
The reason Ghidorah survived was because he’s an alien, he doesn’t need oxygen to live. The ones mentioned in the video are fair ones, but they didn’t took into account the regeneration part and that he could use the atomic breath to prevent any Kaiju from getting to close.

4 for is not going to be easy, skulls are specifically designed to keep the brain safe and they would be very hard to crack even for Kong. Plus, these are 300 ft tall, 100 000+ ton monsters, their bone structures probably have extra adaptations to be even stronger to support them.
5 is valid, however that also needs specific circumstances, doubt the G-man would just sit and wait for his head to get separated from his body.
6 I fail to understand how that could kill him. Sure, it might make it harder to breathe underwater, but that wouldn’t have any other significant effects.
7 is just a bad speculation. The is not a SINGLE bit of confirmed information on what happens in Godzilla’s body when he charges his atomic breath. This is completely made up and frankly quite unreliable. Just as you said that it would destroy his organs, I could say it would force his mouth open, and someone else could say his entire body would explode and would kill Kong too and it would be just as valid as what you said, because there’s LITERALLY NOTHING to go off of. Or actually, in the New Empire both Tiamat and Scylla tried to do that, and it didn’t work for either of them. We also don’t know whether Kong has a stronger grip than they do, or how strong Goji’s jaw muscles are, so it’s questionable if Kong could do that in the first place. And it’s likely if Goji manages to open his mouth even the slightest, the sheer force of the atomic breath would help him force his mouth open.
Edit: Quickly pulled up the GvK Hong Kong fight scene, and Kong literally stuffed his mouth with the axe when he was about to fire the atomic breath and nothing happened, he just lost his charge.
And also at the end of that fight Kong literally blew back his atomic breath at his head with said axe and in a few minutes he was back up again, so I think it’s safe to assume that wouldn’t happen.
