My wife (infj) and I (infp) were married 26 years ago (jan ‘95). We have a lot of similarities with you and feel the same about the comfortableness of the relationship. Our experience has been the infp/infj relationship gets even better over time. We wanted to let you know it does last. 🙂

i am an infp who had a lot of infj friends, and i was convinced i was much more attracted to the hard logic of the intp type. and then last summer, i fell very hard for an infj. we talked long and late, about spacing out while driving or how our faith shaped our college years. i couldn't get over how wonderful it was to grow close to someone so empathetic and warm, but so intensely adept at analyzing his thoughts and opinions. he drew out of me the thoughts i treasured, like no one ever had. at the close of summer, we decided that we each needed to focus on our respective grad programs and any romantic relationship would be a question mark left to the future. i found your first video a while ago, and i was happy to find this one, as i wonder for my own life in this interlude, will the infp and the infj get to stay together? i'm happy to see you two are. :) your vulnerability is warm.

Dear lovlies!! Great to see you guys together. I am an infp and looking for my true love and when I see a deep connection in couples, it makes me feel happy as well. Now having said that, you get into conflicts all the times and open communication is the key to fix a conflict. For the wife: please have a self control in your thoughts and thought process and behaviour and actions. Don’t say, “I forgot to do this and that”. Keep your time also in your control. It requires high discipline, that needs for deep connection to maintain. Or it won’t work. Best part is, you have the dominant control over your husband. For husband: your wife will have more knowledge than you and might give you more love and keep you sane. Your life with her is to make her happy and even serve her every possible way. In return, she will give deep knowledge and love and happiness. For both: don’t get into group s*x or something like that. It will wreck whatever you are building and it is really beautiful what you have. I hope you don’t have that kind of weak discipline. God bless you and take care! :)

I feel so inspired by you twos rawness and vulnerability. I feel it when you talk to each other and it’s so beautiful. So I’m an infj currently wondering about an infp dude… I’m the type to wait on the guy to make the first move, but I’ve found I already have by starting the conversation! I think he likes me but it’s so hard to tell. I wonder with brooks, was he not making the first move because he was shy or was it social awkwardness? Also, I thought it’s supposed to be a turn off to guys to make the first move. It’s so hard to navigate 😅😬🤦🏼♀️
Thank you so much ❤️ I’m so glad it’s something other Infjs can relate to. With brooks I would say it was a little of both shyness and social awkwardness, but once we started dating that all disappeared! I’m guessing it’s the nerves of liking someone that causes that in some infps (I know I’ve definitely felt that myself at times too with people I had crushes on). It really can be hard to know what an Infp is thinking without asking them, so it can’t hurt to ask the infp dude how he feels! I’m so curious to know if anything has happened since you wrote this comment. I really had to be bold and direct with brooks which was out of character for me at the time, but I have no regrets ☺️ wishing you the courage to do the same!

Angie, your answer to the last question was so important. I started learning about MBTI after my last relationship of 4+ years ended. She was INFP. I'm INFJ. a lot of puzzle pieces started clicking together once I learned about functions, and we truly were each others safe space. We were at the center of the onion together. On the flip side, we were both unhealthy versions of ourselves and not exactly working on it individually let alone as a unit. It was a gradual decline and it hit her out of the blue when I jumped ship, she always thought I'd be her person, yet in hindsight we've both grown immensely as people since then. I'm happy for her and am not entirely sure if our paths cross again, but I think the divergence was necessary. To bring this ramble full circle, you're absolutely right that the personality types are a roadmap, but true day-to-day compatibility is so important (i.e. seeing eye-to-eye on values/beliefs and being able to work with each other to implement values/beliefs that are important to the other person). Love is, ultimately, the most beautiful compromise. Glad I stumbled on your channel.

My fiancé who lives in Brazil and I have been happily dating in the age of COVID. I'm an INFJ personality type. She took her MBTI test and she is an INFP...which wasn't really a shock as we've been spending the months we've been together shocked at how perfect we seemed for one another despite our cultural differences and the distance between us. Sadly COVID has made the backlog for fiancé visas in Brazil significantly longer than the usual 3-4 months (I've heard as much as 18-24 months even...I hope that's changing though). I feel like I've truly met my soulmate for the first time and the dynamic of this kind of relationship feels truly right in ways that I had only previously dreamed of. I'll be following your channel with much interest.

Just discovered your videos (But just watched your first, 2 years old). Loved your interaction and could connect with most of the stuff you brought up. I had been interested in Meyer-Briggs classifocation for Some time. However it’s until recently that I thought of the couple combination. My partner and I are most surely INFP (me) and INFJ (her). When I look on how my ex talks to me and assumes what I would do or feel in a situation he is I realize how little he understands about me. My infj partner never assumes how I feel or think but asks me about it or just understands me. I hate when someone assumes something about me...
Oh and when one of us is in a bad mood we both take it on very easily. I try to rip him out but it makes me so sad that I start crying what ofc is effecting my partner more 🤣 that is a downside to be feelers both I guess.
Ahahha my partner and me We do the same and talk about how we would act when we met earlier 🤣 we have 7 years of age different, i am the older one so it's kinda fun to imagine we r same age and met at school. Though age is not effecting us. We constantly forget that we have such an age gap...

Where do you think that infps are generally found?
Hmm.. have to think about that one for sure. I’d say generally doing something in the arts/healing arts or humanities. But a lot of the infps I know have super niche interests they’re passionate about (rock climbing, sustainable agriculture and farming, yoga, music etc)

I think it’s only been western that I’ve learned so far since I’ve based what I know off my birth chart, but now you have me going down a rabbit hole!
There is something I am not sure if there is even an answer to that, but....how can find INFx folks, in general each other, get to know each other? I mean, in your case, it was the passion in what you do what brought you together....I was just thinking that because we are definitely not at places where many people gather, like, you know, a loud crazy party or anything like that....
That’s very true. Both of us had actually been at the same concerts before we met and never crossed paths, so it’s tough. I would say for meeting someone in person, the best chance is small groups in your community that attract intuitive types (humanitarian groups, art groups, niche sports like rock climbing). Online is a place a lot of INFx types tend to be found if you’re looking in the right places :)

In all the romance movies where there are INFP characters, they will be the ones to make the move/ask the other character out. So do INFPs not act like that in real life? I guess it honestly depends.

I've never heard that stereotype about infp's before, but I'd say that we're quite the opposite.. infp's usually avoid confrontation in any form, especially when having to wear our hearts on our sleeves and risk our feelings being hurt.
INFP here. When I was a teenager I was the one letting guys know I was interested, but as I matured, I let men come to me.

Might just be a difference in enneagram for infps... I can tell he has inferior Te (extroverted thinking) as he's trying to verbalize his thoughts and responses.
