Introducing Brooks: INFP, Filmmaker, Musician, Amazing Human Bean, and this INFJ's partner in crime. I hope you all enjoy hearing the story of how we met and a few personality traits we both love about the other.
INFJ female dating an INFP male. March is 8 years together. It is the deepest, most honest, and passionate relationship I've ever had. Best friends, counselors, we support each other, and are incredibly loyal. You are both so cute, I'm confident you'll be together a long time.
Still going strong! I'm sure I meant that the March that had passed was 8 years together, because we are going on 10, we started dating in March 2012. It's hard to believe it's been that long. I think our biggest issues are: 1. I'm more extroverted than he is. I have needed to get comfortable with doing things alone. It was hard, but we discuss it, and we never fight about it. 2. He doesn't like lying or doing things just to keep the peace. Whereas I will do whatever it takes to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable, and I'm always worried about the reactions of other people. I play peacemaker too often, and can be a "rug sweeper" just to keep everyone happy. Overall, no matter your type, communication is incredibly important, and acceptance of who the other person is. We can all work on our flaws, which is the importance of understanding your type anyway, but accept the person flaws included.
My wife is an infp and I am infj. I've been madly in love with her since I was 17 and I'm 42. It wasn't easy at first but we know each other so well it's insane. It's like were magnetized to each other.
Same but we've been together for about 3 years now and having some issues. I admit being an INFJ as well as a Cancer....I can over think and over feel............a lot. Shes had a bad past so I think a little of it is that but im wondering how long it took for things to be better with your relationship?
@@joeberry2979 Takes years of great things and bad ones alike. Never said it was always peaches and cream cause I'd be lying if i did. My personality HAS felt like a curse cause you feel unappreciated and for me personally, I just accept the way she is wired. We're not the same and never will be. Just follow what your heart feels. Man if I told you what we've been through, you wouldn't believe me. Nothing like terrible or disrespectful in any way. Just things that you only make it through when y'all truly love each other. As long as y'all stay true anything is possible. Don't hold anything back and speak your mind. Make sure she feels like she can do the same and everything works out in the end if yall wanna be happy. Marriage is like a healthy body. You gotta work on it constantly to stay healthy and feel good. God bless you my man.
@@joeberry2979as a INFP cancer 🤭✌🏾 best advice from being in both of yall worlds is to be patient and honest with her. Tell her how you feel and communicate with a sense of peace. Us INFPs are easy to deal with if you approach us with mutual respect and understanding ❣️
Yeah, what do you love the most about her? I am infp here and my boyfriend is an infj. I love him very much and I think he does too. But sometimes I am very much depressed and I hope I don't bother him too much.🙈 I always think I am unlovable or unworthy of love because of my depression and the problems in school and work.
INFJ women are as rare as they come & INFP males are very rare so it is understandable that you do not see this matchup very often. I am very happy happy for you both that you both found each other. You are blessed. A power house of idealism that can have a great impact on the world for the better. Thanks for the video. I am a INFP-A male and wish both well, peace.
I dated an INFJ once (I'm INFP) and our relationship accelerated so quickly, even though we were both determined to take it slowly. We broke up after 4 months and I was really bummed about it. Even though it was only 4 months, we clicked so well and it made a big impression on me. I still always have a frustratingly weird attraction to INFJs... 🥴
I am an INFJ and my wife is an INFP. We have been married for almost 4 years. It’s been great! Every relationship has its ups and downs but I wouldn’t rather be with anybody else.
(INFP) What happens when two of the rarest types meet? Exactly what should happen. Nothing more and nothing less... I have an INFJ friend. Our dynamic consists of her planning out every last detail of everything she has to do. At some point I interrupt her and say, "let's do it!". and then she let's me. We compliment each other by her giving me a direction path forward (where I would be stuck in indecision). I help her by giving her ideas traction. Wouldn't trade it for nothing.
I'm an INFJ guy dating an INFP girl and I have never got along more with any other woman in my entire life. Sometimes she drives me crazy because I'm constantly trying to piece her together (like I do everyone lol) and she hates critism but she innately trusts me and we come full circle always. I love her❤❤
Did you both have any struggles? Because me and my boyfriend we really get along together (he is infj).. But I often feel so hurt because of little things.. And the hurt is so deep that sometimes I really think about if it will gonna work out or not. I don't want to open up with him about it. He really makes some jokes over some things which are sensitive to me and then i am hurt. I don't know if this is just a phase which we will be able to change or if the relationship is doomed to fail because of me and my sensitiveness. Did you experience anything similar? I almost wanted to brake up with him - and this hurt both of us very much.
@@sientwa6102in my experience if you rely too much on the mbti baseline descriptions and not really try to see the person for himself/herself it will be the downfall of the relationship. As much as mbti says infp and infj can connect well, the two need to communicate constantly. If he says jokes that hurt you next time ask him why he says those jokes or let him know that it affects you. If he really likes you he’ll try to moderate it or be more aware of it. And that goes for everything else. Communicate early on - because misunderstandings happen way more easily than not. And initial misunderstandings don’t mean a relationship is doomed. Mutual respect, desire for improvement, awareness of each other’s dislikes/likes, etc all take work.
I’m an INFJ and my husband of 6 months is an INFP. We dated for two years. We’re both wedding videographers and met via our mutual love for video. Your story is uncannily similar -especially the part of INFPs being difficult to read and type. I normally feel like I get a good “reading” on people, but INFPs have so many layers and are mysterious. And he really appreciates my artistic side and my love for my family and friends. And genuine. And they really allow for people to be themselves. We get along great.
I am INFP and easy to read well, I always keep myself open wide because usually I being missread by people, so it's much better for me to be more direct and open even it's really vunarable
I'm an INFP and I have been talking for marriage with an INFJ male. We are literally soul mates. Ugh I love these personality combinations especially both of them being so rare! Please make more videos! You guys are so heartwarming to watch!
@@thynisia396 Yeah, I'm an INFP with an INFJ with ASD so arguing would just be redundant, I don't raise my voice much anyhow. 9yrs+ now and not really ever argued.
I am an INFJ female who just got together with my INFP penpal of 26 years. We just met in real life and it's above and beyond what either of us expected. He picked me up at the airport and was soooo calming. It's been an amazing 2 days so far and even when we were writing, we called each other soulmates/ best friends. Neither of us asked to exchange photos until 4 years into it. We each enjoyed it that way unbeknown to the other. I just found out he was INFP a few months ago and I thought no wonder we've always had a deep connection since the beginning!
Man how do you deal with infp's lack of need for communication and big need of alone time.... If you answer this I'm sure you will be saving alot of infjs like me hopelessly in love with infps..... I'm sure I can look past everything because of how beautiful these infps are but still for how long man....
@@Krishnapriya1how about I answer you..as a INFP. Personally I’m a chatter box, I have a ambivert personality and I’m quite loving when trust is involved. If a INFP doesn’t trust you, has a lot on there mind, distant themselves, or even feels like they have been judged by you. You’re gonna get that side of them that gives off “mixed signals”, that’s when you really have to dig deep and think and be honest with us about your feelings. All we ever want from anyone, especially our partners is to tell us what’s going on in there mind. That way you will resolve back to things were. But don’t be an absolute prick 😂😂😂. I had some experiences with INFJs were and I never door slammed one so hard..I be regretting it though because the chemistry be so intense and real..but man the ego..definitely be the immature ones fr. Also us being alone is us regaining fuel for anyone, INFJs does it too.
@@cloudyglory50 Ahhhh.... Thank youuuuuuuu soo much. I been looking for this answer forever painstakingly.... and I came to the conclusion that it must be because of the good natured INFP not wanting contact anymore more because of something that happened that was bad and not wanting to say it out loud because of not wanting to hurt others. But this part about resolving it by saying what's on one's mind is amazing amazing advise cause otherwise from my stupid conclusion alone I had decided to leave without looking back. Thank you again.... means alot ❤❤❤❤
I'm an INFJ and my Bf is an INFP. I just recently started looking into this and I love how I feel the same way. I see how you see each other because I see it in myself and my bf. We've been together for 2 years so far and it has been an amazing experience! It's crazy because my bf also is a videographer for weddings. I was actually interested in doing videos as well. It would be so awesome to connect!
@@infjAJ He just does it with his friend, timnusog.com . But my bf actually moved to Alabama and I will be joining him at the beginning of November! Where are you guys located? I currently live in Bay Area, CA (San Jose/Hayward/San Francisco/Stockton area). We're moving to Huntsville, AL and will be there at minimum of 2 years.
@@evelyncaday9845 That's so cool! Just checked out his friend's website and his stuff is great. Brooks and I live outside of Baltimore, MD but have started traveling more for work. I've yet to visit CA or AL, but have heard awesome things about both! If you guys ever want to connect or link up our business is @bevideography on instagram and facebook :)
I'm an INFJ with an INFP boyfriend and I can relate so much to INFPs being mysterious. Usually, I'm just casually psychoanalyzing people and just figuring out their fears and values and maybe even childhood traumas and I can only analyze my boyfriend based on the stuff he explicitly tells me about himself.
I'm an infj girl and my boyfriend is infp tooo!!! I could relate soo much!! Kudos to you both, I totally get the connection, it's a spiritual match, truly beautiful 😍
Infj girl with an INFP bf. We’ve been together for almost 5 years now. He doesn’t like being put into the MBTI box, but he understands why I like looking into it.
I'm an INFJ and my boyfriend is an INFP. We have grown so much individually and together after digging into our MBTI types. We sound a lot like you two, and it feels good to hear from someone like us. Thanks for sharing!
That’s great, you sure pursue him/her in subtle ways, as the infj will mostly likely pick those hints up and initiate subtle hints as well. If they really like you, they’ll make time for you :)) I’m saying this from experience as I am an infj ❤️
Ok, as an INFP the way you were describing him and complementing him was gold! Things like " you are the most genuine person I know" is the highest form of praise you could give me. I really related to Brooks with what he said responded to that too. I want to be as authentic as possible and yet it seems so hard to do because my mind is an endless sea of perspectives and possibilities and I don't know if the way I am being is as genuine as I can be. So yeah... I liked this lol
Am I the only one who was so disappointed that we didn't get to see what happened after she told him about how cool it'd be if they were dating???? I was like NOOOO you can't stop there, I need the rest of the story :') Btw, INFP here!
I'm also an INFJ and my partner is an INFP. We have 20 years apart (he's older) and still we have so much in common and share love on a very deep level. We also deepen our connections while driving together! haha. I'm so blessed to have him. Thank you for sharing this video :) You guys are so sweet I love the way you look at each other!
Im an infj and I like someone who’s an infp, he makes me feel like I want to be a better version of meself, he makes me feel calm and he makes me feel better about meself. I really want to tell him I think he’s an infp but I’m not sure how he will react, I don’t want to hurt his feelings or make him feel overwhelmed.
Thank you, it most definitely is and I am so grateful for that. I have so much love for INFPs and believe they have so much to offer in romantic relationships.
As an INFP I get told I am mysterious a lot. Also been told I send mix signals all the time and am hard to read! I think I'm pretty open and transparent so I'm surprised when I hear that !
Same! It completely threw me off when I was called out like this too! I have even been called fake and told I don’t “look” like an INFP? I don’t even know what that means! I detest fakeness in character, but do admit I act like I am okay sometimes because I have learned when I am honest with my feelings or thoughts, so many people ignore, disregard, or immediately regret asking me in the first place lol. They look at me like a zoo animal a lot of the times. Which just makes me more introverted. 🤷♀️
@@heatherstewart6603 I don't know about you, but I can find myself being very extroverted/loud/sociable when I'm around the right people. When i'm around my group of friends, i'm usually the most energetic loudest of the punch. I don't know if it's an INFP thing, but I have a HUGE change in personality depending on who is around me at a given moment. The quietest to the loudest person in a group.
I am and INFJ and I have just met an INFP. We seem to be able to click instantly. This video is very encouraging and I am now even more hopeful this relationship would work out but of course time will tell. You two are very cute together!
I'm an INFP and my fiancée is an INFJ. We've been together for almost 5 and a half years. We live together and he is, undoubtledly, my favorite person in this whole world .
@@aladdout9454 nope! Almost 10 years together! He is, still, my favorite person. Can't begin to describe how much he means to me. Every time I try to, my eyes tear up.
I’m an infp and my husband is an infj. Very interesting how you guys communicate. I feel like this would be us...if my husband was the girl and I if was the guy. I hope that made sense. I’m into videography and hope to pursue it in weddings and short films. Love the content and genuineness you both have. Very Inspiring ❤️
You should go for it! I feel infps are some of the best types to get into film making because they use it as a medium to express their inner emotional world and can actually make others feel what they feel through their creativity. Brooks amazes me with how genius he is at it. Best of luck to you both and thanks for watching ❤
Im an infp and husband is infj. He gets me in ways no other person does. He is deep, decisive, kind.. hard to explain. He is my person and I am his person.
Wow you two are such an adorable couple! This made my heart all melty as an INFJ. I felt instant attraction to an INFP just based on a profile. I suggested the test to him too, haha. They really do seem genuine and that is so refreshing! So heartfelt, too. Thank you for sharing your story, it makes me feel hopeful:)
You have beautifully complementary energy. My closest friend is an INFP and we're about the only two people who actually understand each other. Blessings to you two!
Thanks for making this video I am new to this Mbti and recently have come to know an infj-a girl me being infp-t . Same exact scenario sat and talked for 3 hours more than one date. So fluid and the feeling presented like a calm understanding I have never experienced with anyone. It would be cool if we had more in common like you two and she’s a busy mom with a busy life so that kinda sucks. I feel as if there is some certain aspects missing that a more extroverted partner might suit us better from what I’ve read. However the depth and calmness of this inherent unspoken understanding of souls is truly magical thus far. endears me in a way that at this point in life feel I may never find again. So I am able to overlook any slight inconsistencies I see for they are very subtle and don’t raise red flags so thanksfo making this it’s reassuring.
Awww I love this video! I love hearing stories of how couples met and began a relationship together. 💞 Of course I love the MBTI comparison of couples as well. Please keep posting videos! You both give off calming, sweet energy and it's a joy to watch.✨ Also, I like the cheesy channel name idea. Go for it! 😊
It’s so sweet to hear about/see strong Infp/Infj relationships/friendships. Surely this must be challenging but in a positive way as you are similar but process similar information differently, I always found the contrast but similarities as a good base for self development, learning about the others thought process, it gives you ways of thinking about the world and others differently. My boss in an Infj and I’m an Infp. I value and trust her very much, she is a great boss and is inspiring in how she creates a good, supportive working environment.
I'm an infj and my man is an infp and once i've finished watching this beautiful video i directly subscribed to ur channel cuz I think it would be so inspiring for both of us and i'm sending the link to my infp right away P.s: u look incredibly like us i mean in the appearences
I'm an INFJ, with a weird music taste and really love guitars! And I always tell my close friends "If you ever meet a woman with similar music taste like me, then set me up!" 😅 When you said "it was the misic taste! No one else listens to this kind of music!" That's exactly what even I feel on most days! And lowkey that is a VERY BIG PLUS! All the best to you guys!
this is literally like my infp friend. we just understand each other and not much needs to be said. its like you are a friend with a duplicate version of yourself. im an infj btw :)
I've been eyeing on this infj dude that i have a crush on. Reason why i was so attracted to the infj dude is because hes so authentically himself and very kind and caring. But me as an infp, feels like its so hard for me to approach him bcos of the deep fear of rejection. Sometimes the infj guy can be confusing in his interactions and reactions as well. I do know that introverts usually takes a while to open up to someone new. But how do i make the infj guy to notice and like me back?
I have an Infj Boyfriend. We're together for nearly 5 months. (I'm an infp). We really match very well and love each other unconditionally. Just sometimes I think he doesn't or even can't get how much or how intense I feel things, or why I feel such things. It makes me kind of sad because I feel like I understand him pretty well. But all in all.. Everything went so fast but no one was ever complaining. We found each other and we're happy together. He's my match I kinda want to know if someone can relate
I'm an INFJ and this is what it looks like for me: I'm in a group and while there are extroverts I talk because I'm forced to, extroverts walk out of the room and I'm left with a fellow introvert - graveyard silence. This is why I only have extrovert friends and my bf is one. Other introverts are a mystery to me like I am to myself sometimes so I learn about them through myers-briggs. Also for research if anyone cares my bf is ESFJ but a weird one cuz he's just slightly a sensor type by a few percentages
This might be a little creepy but there used to be a youtuber who was an INFP. Her name was Brianne/Naturally Unconventional. Her partner and she is an INFJ/INFP pair. What's funny is that they also filmed weddings together. xD Coincidental? Haha PS: For Brianne fans T ^T I miss her
I miss Brianne :'( i wish i had downloaded all her videos, i constantly rewatched her videos since 2015 and i did the mbti test bc of her (im infp). Let me know if have her videos pls. Her channel was named "michael & brianne" before she changed to just "brianne", bc michael didnt a upload videos that much. Sorry for bad english.
I can definitely relate with Brooks' guitar story xD. Spent 1 year in college and non of my friends know that i can play guitar. Only after i met one of them in Uni that they saw a guitar in my dormroom and asked about it.
EXACTLY! I am INFJ one month in, with an INFP- attraction like a magnet, talked for hours, we are both working Artists and he also plays guitar, I suspected he was INFJ so he took the test for me, tested INFP, He's calming, soothing and healing to me when he talks. As INFJ, I project , but I can't read him either. I have told him that I feel I (really) like him already, but still waiting for him to verbalize his feelings for me more ... ❤ Hope he feels same as i do...😢
INFJ here So about 10 months ago I got together with my girlfriend INFP and from the moment we met 12 months ago, it just instantly clicked between us. Personality wise we fit perfectly together. We share the same interests aswell and I honestly think I'm gonna marry her one day. However. And this is what I'm concerned about. She's 27 and and while I'm only 22 I'd say I'm alot more mature in alot of aspects. Except for one thing. Love and relationships. This is my first proper relationship after having had a rough childhood and one friend with benefits I was madly in love with for over a year which was just torture all the way, because she never saw me more than just a friend with benefits. So that aswell as my childhood left me somewhat emotionally traumatized. Now back to her being older. She's in a phase of life where she's thinking about her future and about her goals in life etc, and she's very work- and self-oriented which usually wouldn't be much of a problem if she wouldn't be living on the other side of the planet. Yes, we've been in a long distance relationship all this time and only ever met once when I saved up to fly there 4 months ago, for our half-year mark. So we really only have texting and a bit of video calling when she comes home, which is around the time I have to go to bed, due to the time difference being 6 hours and me working nightshifts. And even though we've been managing it super well for the most parts, her being so focused on work and herself, and me being young, and inmature when it comes to relationships, just makes for some problems. The biggest problem being me focusing on her too much. Obviously wanting to make up for the lack of physical contact. But also her being so busy. So I find myself making time for her all the time and picking her up from work every day etc. Simply to catch her in a moment where she isn't doing something else at the Same time. Because me as an INFJ need some proper meaningful time together. However she seems to be happy if we just live our lifes and text, and then when we vc she always does something and just 'has me there with her'. All in all it just ended up feeling like she's always busy and has things to do, and never tries to make time to spend time with me. Due to the time difference she gets home from work 2 to 3 hours before I need to sleep. So up until that point we barely have any meaningful conversations whatsoever. And whatever texting we do is based on me making time for her while she is texting and doing other things on the side. Which always makes me feel like I'm either in the way, or other things are simply more important. Then when she finally gets home and we get to Video call, she has to cook, eat, play games whatever, focus on herself. And while I totally respect that, she doesn't realize that we don't really get a chance to talk during those sessions either because she can't focus on me and her things at the same time. And for her it's all enough, while I'm lacking meaningful interactions. This has caused alot of arguments, and I never get the impression that she truly understands what it is that's lacking. It's not that I'm young and needy. But then again, maybe I am? Thinking how other guys would probably not even care about those things, and would just be doing their own things all day long. Then maybe she would start focusing more on me. So far I don't give her any reason since I'm making so much time for her. Her side probably feels like I'm always there, which I kinda am. Yet my side looks like she's always busy and there's always something more important/interesting than me. Be it colleagues, games or whatever. I value proper conversations while she seems to value texting while doing other things at the same time. Which I find impersonal and simply unimportant. We've had alot of arguments because there has barely been a single day since our original honeymoon phase, where I was truly happy with us. Simply because I don't feel like she needs me. All the things she does and the way she acts just scream that I'm not needed. Whatever I suggest, be it what to eat or what to watch, she always ends up choosing her own things. And all these things just add up to me feeling useless and tbh not valued. What really sucks about all of this is that I know she does value me, and I am needed. She just can't show it and is a master and making me feel otherwise. Which I blame on our age difference and our phase of life not matching up. So yeah, as much as we love each other and as compatible as we are, these small things just add up to me not feeling valued. And yes, I've had hundreds of hours of time I spent on thinking about this. I'm an INFJ, I know I need a little more than other guys, but so does she, we match perfectly in that matter. It's overall just alot of small things that I do and she doesn't that make her feel like I'm always there and I need and care for her. And well I don't feel that way. We've fought over this alot, but she always ends up being upset, then being upset and seeming like she doesn't care and just wants to leave, though I know she just thinks she's not good enough. And then I always end up feeling bad and doubting myself, wether I'm too needy etc. But I've had so much time to think about all of this. Yet we make slow progress regarding this. I'll just need to detach myself from her and focus on myself aswell, with the hopes that over time she will miss all these small things I do and start doing those herself to get my attention blah blah. Anyway this is way too confusing and long already, but I'd be thankful for anyone that somewhat gets it and has some advice 🙏❤️
Hey just wanted to start off and say thanks for sharing what's on your mind. I'm not an expert by any means and don't know either of you personally, but what I do know are long distance relationships are hard AF. They require a lot of transparency, trust, and great communication. Just from the outside looking in, it sounds like you value quality time very highly. This doesn't make you needy but it means you have a need that isn't getting met in the way you wish. I'd figure out what your love language is and what hers is as well and talk about it together. Try coming at it from a place of discovering more about one another first before making statements about how she doesn't meet your needs. I'm sure she does care about you if she makes time to talk, but she's also invested in herself a great deal which isn't a bad thing. She sounds very independent which probably comes with age and she might have a secure attachment to love where yours might be anxious attachment from what you've described your childhood to be. I'm also an anxious attachment style and brooks is secure. I've had to do a lot of work on myself for myself. Invest in yourself and find your own hobbies and interests to better yourself, but do it for you. Don't do it with the intention of making her want more of your attention. That will only bring frustration and is more like playing games in the end. My advice to you is to definitely look into your love languages and focus more on yourself, your sense of self-worth, your career, and relationships wherever you are. Long distance is hard and it really isn't for everyone. I don't personally think I could do it again. Your needs are important and I hope you guys can find a middle ground with your need for that no distraction quality time. Also try to understand we are perfectionists at heart, and can sometimes be hard on our partners. Try to step in her shoes for a moment and imagine you had her same needs and commitments she makes to herself. In the end only you know if it'll be enough or if you're sacrificing too much. I wish you the best of luck
@@infjAJ Thank you so much for your advice! You pretty much put in words what I've been thinking about alot. I will take your words to heart and try my best to put them into action. I wish you two the best of luck in your future together and just wanna thank you again for this video as it's super relatable and just reflected my relationship perfectly. You gave me new hope! ❤️🎉
Omg. This was 6 months ago and could be completely irrelevant at this point . I am an infp. I'd like to think that I value quality time and so when I am spending time with someone I want all of your attention lol. Hate it when I'm speaking to someone and they're on their phone. But, I also trust a lot.. how do I explain this...I have an entp friend and even if we dont speak for 2 months I know that when she calls we are cool. I ' disappear' a lot, and can appear hard to get according to one friend. But when I call that friend I drop everything and speak to them cause quality time Is my love language. However if we spoke everyday I'd most probably include it in my chores and cook or clean while we speak. I'm not saying yall should speak less, but maybe my ecpwireince could inform something.. Omg 6 months ago 😂
@@laviniashiponeni1 Hey, thanks for the reply! I would say it does make a huge difference wether it's just a friend or your partner that always just squeezes you into their schedule even though it could easily be managed differently. Lol. As you said it's been a few months now and I would say that things improved alot! While she still finds it utterly difficult to text me when she's free rather than when she's already busy doing something (LOL) , I've come to tolerate it a little more due to the fact that I focus way more on myself aswell. And in return I can see how things are shifting a little from me 'doing all the work' to her being the one that takes the initiative more often. I also came to realize that it wasn't just the fact that she was always busy with something, but the added bonus that whenever I'd send her a video for example, that I knew she'd really enjoy, I always got the answer yeah ill watch it later. Which usually never happened. And really alot of small things like that. It really screamed: I don't care about you, you're not needed. All these things combined. But I've come to realize that it's just an unfortunate collection of small quirky qualities of her. She doesn't like being forced to do things for example, and suggesting a video or movie to watch seems to fall into that category. And tbh I kinda get it... a bit. Still sucks, but at least she's starting to act as though I do finally matter, which is all I ever missed. Also in her culture you don't really show emotions as much (Thai) , so that lack of emotions and or openness towards me just really added to it all and made it hard for me to connect. I can tolerate alot of weird and or bad behavior, as long as I'm not being used. And sadly that's how I felt for a long time. But Im happy to announce that we're doing great now and I almost couldn't be happier! Alot of these things still happen, but I know how to better handle them now, in a way that doesn't harm either of us. Again, overall I'm very happy with how things have improved 😁👍🏻
Nicoladen Hi there🙋🏻♀️ This is a year old and I don’t know if you’re going to get it but as an INFP woman, i will be 💯 honest here and tell you that we definitely do put ourselves above others UNLESS we’re madly interested in someone then it’s F*cking INTENSE. We’re all or nothing. The only way you’ll know an INFP loves you (at least for me) is if they start to act different than who they’re normally and that’s to put that person above themselves. At least that’s how i myself know for sure that I’m in love, when i stop being self focused and become laser focused on my lover. I also start to feel insecure and become clingy and needy which is definitely foreign to me and it actually feels SO F*CKING SCARY because I feel like I’m losing myself and I also feel extremely impressionable and controlled by love which is also FRIGHTENING because I always want to have autonomy over my emotions so that’s why we don’t open up easily or we come off as hard to get. It’s just a self defense mechanism.
I am an INFJ and I like an INFP guy... Idk what the future holds but I'm praying for my a good future of myself. Looking at you both makes me happy haha. You guys are so cute, and you guys look like have a mature relationship. I am praying for that kind of relationship 😊 I want to go back here in the future.
Same experience with identical music tastes when dating my INFP husband. We sent each other our favorite songs and It's like I have that one but a remix! And vice versa. We still bond over music where we take turns being DJ to play old standbys and discover something new.
Im Infp and boyfriend is Infj and we are best friend, I feel he is my Twin Flame 🥰🥰🥰🥰 We have alot I commens in almost Everything. And we have a chill Atmoshfear. Same Music taste, How we looke at Thing. He has same values then me. Only difference is J and P. And When I finaly understood whats the difference it made more sence. I wish my bf could looke little more into his personal info of Infj. But he not interest because is not his Thing to read personal test. He likes to find him self insteed. And I can relly on that. :)
I'm an INFP man, I have a crush on an INFJ man and the first thing in common we found is our music taste, it's incredible how music can join people, I hope we get somewhere cuz I really like him 👉👈
I'm an INFP and a few years ago met and briefly dated some one who I later found out is an INFJ and I've never felt that kind of energy and connection except with him. Life got in the way and we have been distant but I'm hoping to maybe pick that up again send me good vibes. You two are relationship goals ❤
Even before the types you were were told, I knew she was INFJ and he was INFP... it was pretty obvious to me, both because of the attitudes, and because I know what it's like to be in a relationship (in my case, it's love of brotherly friendship), with an INFP (I'm an INFJ girl) 😅🥺😍💙💜❤
Reading all of these comments surprises me, I didn’t know that INFJ’s and INFP’s would make such a good couple. Also, my INFJ friend says the same thing about me; she can read most people but with me she sort of can’t most of the time. Unless I’m doing my super animated faces that I do when I feel something strongly and want it to show 😂
INFJ female dating an INFP male. March is 8 years together. It is the deepest, most honest, and passionate relationship I've ever had. Best friends, counselors, we support each other, and are incredibly loyal. You are both so cute, I'm confident you'll be together a long time.
YO YOU GOTTA GIVE ME TIPS MINE IS ALSO AN INFJ FEMALE
I'm an INFP guy who'd love to find an INFJ girl. 8 years, huh? That's encouraging.
Still going strong! I'm sure I meant that the March that had passed was 8 years together, because we are going on 10, we started dating in March 2012. It's hard to believe it's been that long.
I think our biggest issues are:
Could you explain the pros and cons?? :)
Same INFP hea hubby INFJ very loyal and understanding been married 22years so blessed we found each other ❤❤
Same but we've been together for about 3 years now and having some issues.

Can you tell me wwaht you love about her as an infp ?
Thank you so much
I dated an INFJ once (I'm INFP) and our relationship accelerated so quickly, even though we were both determined to take it slowly. We broke up after 4 months and I was really bummed about it. Even though it was only 4 months, we clicked so well and it made a big impression on me. I still always have a frustratingly weird attraction to INFJs... 🥴
I'm INFP, and my husband of 20 years is INFJ. You guys seem to have the same playful quality to your relationship that we always have.
Same. Married almost 16 years now. We’ve had a lot of fun 🤩
Yes! Gotta love it
I'm an INFJ guy dating an INFP girl and I have never got along more with any other woman in my entire life.
I'm an INFP and my boyfriend is an INFJ, and we are the most crazy, but no one even knows
this is the one descirbes infp-infj couple well lol
I’m an INFJ and my husband of 6 months is an INFP. We dated for two years.
We’re both wedding videographers and met via our mutual love for video. Your story is uncannily similar -especially the part of INFPs being difficult to read and type. I normally feel like I get a good “reading” on people, but INFPs have so many layers and are mysterious.
And he really appreciates my artistic side and my love for my family and friends.
And genuine. And they really allow for people to be themselves.
We get along great.
I am INFP and easy to read
well, I always keep myself open wide because usually I being missread by people, so it's much better for me to be more direct and open even it's really vunarable
I'm an INFP and I have been talking for marriage with an INFJ male. We are literally soul mates. Ugh I love these personality combinations especially both of them being so rare! Please make more videos! You guys are so heartwarming to watch!
I am an INFP and my partner is an INFJ, it is great. In 8 years we have not had an argument. We enjoy the same things and love being together.
Life taught me that arguing is part of loving someone... but I guess not??

I’m an INFP girl with and INFJ boyfriend and it’s the BEST thing that has happened to me! He’s my best friend!

So about 10 months ago I got together with my girlfriend INFP and from the moment we met 12 months ago, it just instantly clicked between us.
This video is weirdly calming.
I am an INFJ and I like an INFP guy... Idk what the future holds but I'm praying for my a good future of myself.
Looking at you both makes me happy haha. You guys are so cute, and you guys look like have a mature relationship. I am praying for that kind of relationship 😊

Same experience with identical music tastes when dating my INFP husband. We sent each other our favorite songs and It's like I have that one but a remix! And vice versa. We still bond over music where we take turns being DJ to play old standbys and discover something new.
Beautiful people, you both. I felt attracted to you both being an INFJ. :P
Guys thank you. You look so cute together. Please stick to it.❤️

I'm an INFP man, I have a crush on an INFJ man and the first thing in common we found is our music taste, it's incredible how music can join people, I hope we get somewhere cuz I really like him 👉👈
I'm INFJ girl and I'm manifesting an INFP male crush 🙈💗
You both cutiieee 🥺💗💗💗✨
she seems so much like an enfj!!
Unless I’m doing my super animated faces that I do when I feel something strongly and want it to show 😂
I am an infj with an infp. We instantly clicked and are soulmates. Same feelings as you described.
i'm infj and i found my infp. best thing ever !
