and when it comes to long distance or the internet, they're even more fragile. So we like to save most people the trouble of building something that will likely crumble after all the time we put in together.

Don’t mind me creeping on your back catalog of videos now that I’ve finally remembered to subscribe. Man, Brad could be my INFP fiancé’s twin, to the point that I had to do a double-take. 😳 And I completely agree about feeling more extroverted around INFPs. INFPs generally bring out a more playful and goofy side of me, too, and I love that. It’s one of the types I’m most naturally drawn to, I think.

And definitely agree with embracing the good and bad sides of life. You could say depression(generally) is a cyclical thought process that strictly operates in 'the darkness'.
In other words, you stay in the darkness because you do not (in severe cases, can not) 'accept' or embrace the darkness you are in. I believe people who are truly depressed cease to feel at all.
Being able to accept and embrace the negative in life allows you to truly love life as a whole. Not happy, not mad; content.
Sorry for the rant. It was an inspiring video to say the least!

Lol in cheetah, definitely an infp, when i was a kid i thought i can be an anime character hero. I grab some wood and shape it like a sword, and its on my back while walking on the street, then some kids laugh at me.
But it didn’t bother me, i remember practicing and swinging the sword, thinkin im on a fight scene 😂 .

Same. I don’t like board games with a lot of rules so that there’s no room for creativity, and you’re just executing the rules. Monopoly and Sorry comes to mind. I like the ones that encourage creativity anything that makes you draw or act or express something in a different way .. Pictionary, reverse charades, taboo etc

I don’t think even as an infj, I could love an infp. I feel like I need someone extroverted yet feeling, someone who is stubborn oddly? Someone who can imagine doing something I would never, outgoing.
I'm an Infp and my gf is infj. Actually i suggest a lot activites which is out of her comfortzone. She is hesitant at first but i can make change her mind :) the thing is i'm not even 100% comfortable myself. But i challenge myself so we can learn from the expirience together and each of us grows from it.

INFP or INFJ... hmmm, typing can be tricky. The tests aren’t always right, and it helps to look at the functions of each to learn which you lead with. Ni usually also comes with future-oriented visions and goals. Ne also comes up with many idears but they’re less conclusive, and oftentimes more open-minded. That’s my understanding anyhow :)
you probably use Ni a lot but you just use Fi and Ne more :) I've been perplexed by this too but in the end I think I'm too flexible and spontaneous to be an infj

This was fun thanks....(down to the way I make pop corn...back and forth with medium heat. ) Reminds me of me (INFJ) and my husband. (INFP)
INFJs love the values and introspection of INFPs so much, it's actually a plus that 90% of the conversation is about their Fi value judgements. We get what we need by understanding them better. Until you have kids ... then you disagree for the first time about what is true or most valued. And the fact that their Fi assumes it is the sole arbiter of both becomes a hurdle.
Still a great match ... married for 12yrs! But you have to stay curious - not judgemental. Take in other perspectives even when it's hard. That is the INFJ super-power and the INFP kryptonite, so the most common stumbling block the few times you aren't inherently aligned in your views already.
Just accept that the INFP has spent a lifetime working out what is true. It's the only thing we care about, so we act like we are always right because we have put all we have into doing the research so that we are always right.

I say this with the deepest affection -- as that conviction is what I most love about my wife. But it is also a blindspot. And refusing to shine light there doesn't make it go away.
