    Does it have much of a whistle, The reason I ask is the younger generation is what their wanting, Thanks! Enjoy your videos from central Florida

      @FL.AirBoater Yes the Mach 1 has a very pronounced turbo whistle sound thanks to our proprietary 10-blade turbine design. You will defiantly notice a difference in sound once you upgrade.

    Does this 'mach' series replace the older stealth generation turbos or as an add-on to the lineup

    • @Duramaxtuner
      @Duramaxtuner  Před 7 měsíci

      @charlied9997 It replaces the older stealth 64 line of turbos. This newer generation features all of the same great features and benefits now in a form that has passed 49-state emissions compliance testing.

      @@Duramaxtuner okay, thank you. I had planned on a stealth 64 g2 if I ever needed a replacement for my stock turbo. What are the differences that make it more epa compliant? What made the g2 unacceptable by the epa?

      I have an 03 lb7 for reference when I was talking about the 64g2

      @Duramaxtuner  Před 7 měsíci

      @@charlied9997 The 64G2 would have likely passed emissions compliance testing on its own. However we did make some changes to the compressor wheel design and this is the version that passed testing and is now sold as the Mach 1.

    Can you use these in a compound setup?

    • @Duramaxtuner
      @Duramaxtuner  Před 7 měsíci

      @justin83mason Yes the Mach 1 makes a great secondary turbo in a compound turbo setup.

    What is the difference between the 6 blade compressor wheel and the one on the mach

    • @Duramaxtuner
      @Duramaxtuner  Před 6 měsíci +1

      @BigJr-wj9bm Our 11-Blade compressor wheels used in our Mach 1/Mach 2 line of Stealth turbos provide a larger efficacy range. This means it will be better suited to work at a wide range of power levels. Allowing you to efficiently run our higher HP turbos (Mach 1/Mach 2) on lower HP setups while you build your truck for higher power levels. This also creates a turbo that has more resistance to compressor surge when it gets into the lower levels of power in the lower RPMs. 6 or 7-blade compressor wheels allow the compressor to squeeze out slightly higher top-end power. But at the end of the day if both compressor wheels can make the same amount of overall power the only difference is the blade count. You are always better off going with the 11-blade since the only thing thing that will really be affected by blade count is the operating range. Therefore you would just be limiting yourself to only operating efficiently in high power ranges if you were to run a 6 or 7-blade wheel. Hope this helped!

      Do you need tuning to run this turbo?

      Does the Mach1 have big high flow vains?

    • @Duramaxtuner
      @Duramaxtuner  Před 6 měsíci

      @@BigJr-wj9bm Yes, if your truck is completely stock you will most likely get a low boost code without any tuning. The Mach 1 does not come with our high-flow vanes but that is mainly because they don't present a noticeable performance advantage at that level of power. They are primarily for achieving higher top-end power which is what the Mach 2, which comes with HFV, is designed for.

      @Duramaxtuner  Před 7 měsíci +1

      @kevinkalivoda3442 The Stealth Mach 1 replaces the Stealth 64 line with a turbo that offers all of the same great features and benefits as well as having passed 49-state emissions compliance testing.

      @@Duramaxtuner excellent! Congrats on getting the 49 state approval. I love my gen2 stealth 64. I was considering upgrading to the mach1. Good to know that is not necessary until I have a failure
