    I rebuilt my LML at 122K, after a head gasket blew. I rebuilt it for reliability (studs, FASS system, CP3, delete, fluidampr, Mahle performance pistons, CAI, solid mounts). The only upgrade was a stage 1 Garrett Powermax turbo. The truck never ran quite right after that. The turbo took too long to spool up, it shuddered at high RPM at WOT, especially under load going up a grade. The exhaust brake still worked, but it wasn't as smooth as the OEM turbo. This Powermax may move more CF of air, but there's a sacrifice of drivability that's unacceptable IMO. (We spend equal time at low elevation, and elevations of 6500-8000ft, and also occasionally haul a 4000lb truck camper, w/a 3000lb utility trailer). In the last year, three separate mechanics have mentioned having problems with these on "normally driven" trucks, and having difficulty tuning for them. We're switching back to a stock turbo as I type this. At the time of our rebuild, the 12-year-old stock turbo was still performing well, bigger isn't always better.

      Hate to hear that you’ve had problems.After these upgrades this truck runs and tows better than it did stock.

    I have a 2013 2500 diesel. i'm getting code 740. the transmission shifts fine. it says no rpm drop. I don't what is causing it.I've been told the converter is going bad. i pulled my Suburban back from Florida to Alabama with no problem.i cleared the code as long as I was driving the cel stayed off. When I stopped for fuel and got back on the road after driving a few miles the cel would come back on. cleared it and long as I was driving it would stay off. Any suggestions need help thanks

    Id be very interested in how much this cost ? Ball park is ok ? Wish i was closer this amd a larger fuel cell is exactly what id like to do to my lml .

    Really good info! Simple question do you include a higher bar fuel rail sensor sensor when you do these things? And if so is the stock pressure regulator good to go with extra rail pressure? I've researched and researched and haven't came up with much. Thought I could ask somebody that would have a good Insight on this topic that wouldn't mind expounding on this. Thanks for your videos and the info it is very helpful!

      We do actually push the rail to 31k ! The rail sensor reads it and the 10mm will do it ! Rail pressure helps with a cleaner run and adds some ponies

      I'm contemplating on doing a 2700 or a 2400 bar on a stock cp4 with typical mods on the truck and I'm not sure what is the best one to go with. Thanks for your reply!

    Hey PBP i live in NWA and if i install this turbo myself can i still drive the truck down to you to get it tuned? Its already deleted and a 10mm cp3 from fleece.

      There won't be. There's not enough room in the valley for one.

      @@Farmer_1776 best thing you could do is the disaster kit after the pump and a 165gph fuel pump/. Air dog. Or Fass.. and good quality fuel each time. If you’re really concerned. But. There’s no room for a CP3 in the valley or auxiliary really
