It's so wonderful to see how Seth loves his writers, clearly the whole reason for Surprise Inspection! We all know them because of that, and by "recycling" their jokes, those actually become funny! And Seth. as well as having a great comedic mind, is such a great physical comedian! I wish my mom was still with me... Seth's expressions alone would have made her day today! Thank you Seth & team!

I always appreciate the fact that even when a joke crashes and burns, Seth can walk out of the wreckage and saunter right into the next one to repeat the awkward process all over again. XD
I think he includes dicey jokes in his act on purpose, just so he can do something adept to recover from them, and still get that audience laugh.

I love Scollins he has the darkest humor and even Seth cant help but laugh his style is always cruel dark and satirical. Love this show! Everyone else on late night have the same jokes same premises even same punchlines Seth is more like Conan he is off beat and doesn't care about eating time so if he goes off script he will continue a great bid or joke. Plus with special segments like "Popsicle Schtick" and "Fred and Seth Clear The Air" these remind me of classic bits like "In The Year 2000"

Also, a correction that you will find interesting. Watson and Crick didn't actually discover the double helix DNA structure, though they are officially credited with it. It was actually discovered by Rosalind Franklin.

It's such a great purposefully bad joke! I kept repeating Des Moines to give it sass and slang so it sounded better. Must be delivered as though you *know* you're an asshole for it.
That would work even better if Seth did it in his Rudy Guiliani voice. "They changed Des Moines, boss"

The last Scollins joke, "Today is National Napping Day, said parents who weren't ready to tell the truth about Grandma," was brilliant. Shouldn't have been in the "no" pile. Dark and laugh out loud funny.
I love how I feel like I know the writers on this show because of how much Seth cares about working them into it. This show managed to recreate itself during the pandemic, and I love that they did not revert back to their original format.
With Nathan Lane on, hopefully we get an update on Cicada Cicada
I love how creative Seth is, this is pure gold! One suggestion though, next time, they should show all the writers’ reactions while there are in a soundproof room and have them vote on who’s was the worst of the day! 😂

Yay for Surprise As a South African who is also a HUGE fan of the show, I would have laughed at the punchline no matter what!! It was very surprising not to go for the snakes on a plane reference. Respect. Also I loved that Peppa Pig joke!

CORRECTION: it’s true that Watson & Crick were the first to publish a paper on the double helix model. But they wouldn’t have been able to do so without the x-ray crystallography images they purloined from Rosalind Franklin. She deserves significant name recognition as well.
