I think edits like this trigger your brain into thinking "remember the good times." Time is fleeting and they're not getting any younger. Fuck, now I'm depressed.
Alright, here is why i think it does it for me. The RLM guys, as sad, fat, old indie film makers and oldschool nerds are kind of underdogs. Life do be relatively hard knocks for them, with all the phantom menaces and space cops along the way. But the video shows them having fun filming dumb slapstick kinda like a bunch of silly children. So it matches the spirit of the song, i think.
Tomás Rosa but they keep getting hotter each year. Jay is waaaay hotter now then in the beginning and rich has a full beard and mike hasn’t really changed
@@arootube was that the Star Wars episode? Because he also had an exploding toaster in front of him that was shooting sparks into his face, which also causes pain
AS a true red letter media fan, I have to point out the fact that its not hard to put random clips together with a song playing in the background. HAVE THEY EVEN SEEN RED LETTER MEDIA? I will not fuck off.. Thanks
This is one of those videos that gives me what I call "fake nostalgia": I wasnt here for the beginning of RLM, nowhere close, I discovered it when they released the SW Holiday special videos, so maybe it's a feeling of longing, that I wish I could be part of their history, have been there for it It's late, I should get off here
I love everyone in RLM,. They're the most talented Hack Frauds I've ever had the pleasuring of enjoying, I wish all of them the best of luck and success in the future and good job on the video!
Truly amazing that in 20 years of being alive, if you asked me who my favourite youtube channel was, I'd have no certain idea... And then all of a sudden I decided it was a bunch of alcoholics from Milwaukee to the extent that I recommend them over any other channel no matter what that person likes
The scene where Jay kills Rich with the tiny revolver is one of my favorites. Everything about it is perfect: Jay's emotionless expression, the tiny obvious cap gun revolver, the giant blood squibs, Rich's reaction, even the way Jay gingerly holds the gun is hilarious.
The CGI used to recreate Rich Evans was simply incredible.
I found it to be totally credible.
The special effects are fantastic!
He's a funnier character than we've had
It broke new GROOOWNND!!!
Rich Evans is indestructible.
But defeatable
He always comes back though
Failer95 I read that as deflatable
BWGgy Nice to see you here, you hack fraud.
Bergonath Still defeatable
One day, many years after Rich Evans dies of diabetes, and Mike Stoklasa drinks himself to the grave, i will find this video and cry.
but what will happen to Jay?
MR.Chickennuget 360 Jay will live forever, of course
Jay will become a Battle Royale video game.
MR.Chickennuget 360 Jay will be at the Manhole.
@@czaknorris7823 Such a nonsensical idea but somehow sounds completely true
This might be the most appropriate and precise RLM tribute ever.
Maxbrestable! Agreed!
but where is fuck bot5000?
Without a question.
The acceptance of death video is pretty good for their current state of life.
czcams.com/video/LujPMRwKlXM/video.html I don’t know if this tribute fits your criteria, but it’s definitely worth checking out if you haven’t!
This made me oddly emotional

I heard they paint houses.
@@lastEvergreen IT BROKE NEW GROUND!!

The never ending saga of Mike and Jay killing Rich Evens.
It's like poetry you know it rhymes...
It's a shame that Rich Evans recently talked about how all this has caused him some back issues so, yeah, physical comedy is no more.
@@DanArnets1492 In the last Nerd Crew he fell back onto a shelf and you could see the genuine pain overpower the slapstick reaction.

"*cocks shotgun* I'll go first." - Mike Stoklasa
it sounds so badass somehow
The plan was that Mike would kill himself, and then he'd kill Jay. Air tight.
This needs to be RLM's channel trailer
Is that my boy Kephri?
With a Hack-Fraud Life parody song sung by Rich Evans.

The life of a VCR repairmen is a dangerous life.
It really is. That's why I'm in the betamax/laserdisc biz now after my photolab days...
Repairing VCRs is a complicated profession.

I think it's better to show them the Phantom Menace review, but that works too.
Show them this, then tell em it's a movie review channel. Let them linger in their confusion
*"Fuck movies."*
Better Special Effects than the Star Wars Prequels!
Better story, characters, and acting.
All the episodes rhyme like poetry.
It was stylistically designed to be that way.
This video took 12 years to make!
definitely a better love story; although I preferred it when Rich Evans was a practical effect
This is amazing.
Primary Senpai Notice me? I guess?

The timing on that clink at the end
I love when people use their editing powers for good
Having a bad day -> Watch this video -> Having a good.
There's something deeply inspiring about all of this. No idea why, but I feel better knowing that even Hack Fauds can still make it.
