www.redlettermedia.bandcamp.co... Mike, Jay, and Rich Evans watch Rouge One: A Make-Up Story - listen to their exciting commentary as they watch the most boringest Star Wars film ever.
I don't think they would even recognize most of what's in it. I would still love a video of them just almost constantly saying "who the fuck is that? I'm oooold!"
Wait, what happened to the laugh track after every sentence? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHEN TO LAUGH IF I DON'T HEAR LUCILLE BALL'S AUDIENCE LAUGHING FIRST?!
I feel like Disney watches RLM but somehow doesn't catch the earth's crust-level thickness of their sarcasm and instead doubles down on what they're mocking.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Red Letter Media. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Mike's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE.
@ScotWithOnet I mean it's better than the rest of the Disney fanfiction we have been getting, but mandalorian is objectively a very poorly written show. The entire thing is basically just one big contrivance intermixed with plot holes and very poorly done action. His armor leaves 60% of his body uncovered yet he is somehow completely immune to injury from blasters, give me a break. It's so convenient how all of his enemies actively decide to aim for his armor plates lol
I came back to this video after feeling like a crazy person for being the only person in my social circle who didn’t jizz in my pants when instead of having an earned finale with the new characters from the series they just opted to have Luke come in and fucking kill everybody without trying
