Konate was good at times, and bad at others, most noticeably when returning from injury...and herein lies the problem, he is ridiculously injury prone, especially for such a young and strong player. That makes him unreliable pick, and thus, he can't be viewed as first choice CB, regardless who plays next to him.

Complete and utter rubbish. It has nothing to do with bobby.
Salah's form has dropped since the injuries + AFCON interruption + our overall squad confidence right now being in the gutter.
Prior to the injuries/AFCON this season, his actual all around game and total 90 minute performances looked IMO the best it had ever looked for us. His goal scoring numbers were still there but he was also doing far more to create for his teammates. His passing had hit a whole other level. He's always scored lots of goals but he used to do a lot of silly things during games too like overdribbling, going down blind alleys and losing possession. His decision making seemed waaaay better in general.
If he hadn't gone to AFCON/got injured he would likely be the prem leader in both goals and assists right now and the odds on favourite for footballer of the year.

His performances have dropped recently but I wouldn't let that be the deciding factor here. Personally I think selling him in the summer would be best for both parties. If his form continues like this into the last year of his contract the accusation will be he is simply coasting through his 350k a week contract. If Saudi club owners want to spend that kind of cash on Sahla and he wants to go then thank you for the Memories Mo. Y.N.W.A

Is this familiar ppl? Despite its successes, gegenpressing is not without its challenges. The physical demands of continuous high-intensity pressing can lead to player fatigue and increased injury risks, particularly in the latter stages of a season. Teams often require exceptional physical conditioning to maintain the intensity of gegenpressing.

Could very well be. It's clear that our style of play is much more demanding than a controlled style that City, Leverkusen this season and even Arsenal play. Can't blame this solely on City's depth, when we've rotated (due to injuries) throughout the team.

He's started on the bench this season, and we've still struggled many times.

If Salah racks up goals/assists next 6 games and turns things around, I say give him a 2 year contract, no pay increase. I still think he has a lot to offer (maybe not as a RW though). I do believe he's trying to protect himself after that injury. Bear in mind this is the first time in his career he's experienced an injury like that. Who else on the team is putting up his numbers, and mind you he'd have double the assists if Nunez knows how to finish. Should've been playing Jota as main striker and Nunez as sub. Also Gakpo looks much better as a LW than as a striker or CAM. Szobo should be playing CAM.

I'm proper fuming with Salah's performances since he's come back, but this fella has done so much for this club.. it's a tough one. We shouldn't just put him out like the bins. I certainly wouldn't be giving him another 2/3 year contract. He's a different player now. His assists seem better than his finishing. If we sell him I get it. He's fallen off a lot quicker than Bobby did and he didn't stick around. I wonder why? ££££££££££££££££££££.

how about you check the numbers on how useless Liverpool's attack has been all season long when Nunez is on the bench. it's boring and non-threatening at all. Palace thanked Klopp when he took him off the other day because it made things easier for them to close out that game. Liverpool's attack is nothing without Nunez out there.

DARWIN every game he runs his socks off . He is a player that runs to every space and never anybody send the ball in that moment When SUAREZwas there he didi the same But. then was STEVEN GERARD the the send that kind of balls to him SUAREZ SCORE ALL KIND OF GOALS

The fact that Ferminho legit served these 2 bafoons goals on a platter is the clear and obvious reason why Ferminho is the true legend of Liverpool.
