Hello , i don't have bald spots and still have a full head of hair , but the most of my hair are miniaturization hair , (small hair shaft) and i'am on finasteride from 7 months but my hair still the same, is that normal ? Or may take more time to reverse?
Thank you for this very informative yet succinct video, Dr! I’m a 37yo man. My regime involves combined topical Finasteride (0.1) and Minoxidil (5%), Nizoral shampoo twice a week and micro-needling once a week. Still losing hair. Any suggestions on what else I could try?

Should you stop using ketoconazole and minoxidil before having a hair transplant to show a more accurate condition of the follicles?
I don’t believe it’s necessary to stop if you are already using it regularly. It’s best to avoid starting NEW agents though before your hair transplant is fully grown to ensure the hair cycle of the transplants is not interfered with.

How does ketoconazole shampoo interact with dutastride?
There is no convincing research to suggest ketoconazole shampoo affects oral dutasteride. Although together they will have a combined effect against DHT levels - to some extent
