RS3 owner here - We have ass top end. Anything 40mph or less or from a dig is where this car really shines. I think a better tie breaker would have been a 50 or 40 roll. None the less great video as always AG
exactly. I am a strong believer in dig races. It shows the car's capability both strength and weakness from a dead stop. Roll races are sketchy mostly but AG does have the best races. Roll racing is all about getting your race, your gear, and speed to the other guy.... or gal.

Winning from a roll doesn’t mean a car is faster. A lot of cars perform better on the low gears. Digs to the 1/2 mile or even the mile are what show real straight line acceleration.

I know the AMG is 300lbs heavier and it depends on the tune, but with 100+ whp over the RS3, it was a given he was going to do better top-end. They should have done another 50 roll !! Great races !

Better top end? 2nd race CLEARLY shows the AMG can't keep up until AFTER 160 MPH and at that point the audi let off the gas. And at 160+ MPH who GAF who's faster unless your trying to go to prison for 10 damn years getting caught doing 180+ what do YOU think the judge is gonna say to you? LOL. THIS is why 0-60 times is ALL that matters to me being a father and a husband. Now if you track your car thats a different story. All one needs is a blackwing and it will SMOKE THIS 63, BMW M5 CS, the AUDI RS5, Demon hellcat and the GT 500. And THIS is also not up for debate. Theres COUNTLESS videos on youtube showing the blackwing winning again and again!🔥🤷♂

E63 AMG Owner here: AMG sweet spot is the 60mph. Anything under that is an automatic loss LOL. Those RS3s are such sleepers if you dont know about cars. Good race!

I thought with those pure 1000 turbos and bolt on mods the amg would be faster then 6.56? Prob 6.2 without passenger. Figured more when my stock turbo RS7 runs 6.9-7.0.

For the rs3 having a bigger turbo (assuming tt700 or ims710 if he is making mid 600 whp) that 60-130 seemed pretty slow. They were pretty equal till 130 so just assuming the rs3 did about the same that just seems slow. Most rs3s with a tte700 are easily in the mid 5s. granted i guess having 1 other person in the car can make a difference but a whole second seems like a lot.
So stock turbo FBO E85 G8x (6.35s) is quicker than this Pure 1000 updraded turbo C63s (6.56s) in 60-130.
show me that car running with a passenger in these conditions. Shitbox g8 be mid 7's.

Can someone explain why the 60-130's are so slow? I dont mean it in an offensive way, but these cars should both be mid to low 5's right?
a 6.5 60-130 is a mid 130's 1/4 mile trap car, that's dog crap slow?
Humidity, DA, and temps are better in other areas than where we are.
@@cobrario4954 I guess it’s a matter of opinion, a rs3 with a hybrid turbo is like 700-800whp? Most of those tte700 setup cars do 5.5-5.7 60-130. In regards to the Mercedes, there’s a c63 locally to me doing 5.5 on stock turbos, so on pure 1000s and ethanol that’s 800+ WHP, you don’t think that a 6.7 is slow for that???
I’d also like to add that it’s not these specific cars, there’s cars on the channel that have 9-1K whp and they barely crack into the 5s or stay low 6s… I’m just curious if the DA wherever hes at makes the cars slower…
Just for reference my gtr when it was stock turbo did - 6.5-6.6 with bolt ons… with hybrid turbos it did 5s. If the gtr can do that, there’s no reason both cars here can’t do better

Doesn't matter hardly at all. The difference between ambient temp and underhood temp is nothing compared to the temp increase from the compressor. It's all about the intercooler
@@knotical689 lol you're joking right? Look at the professional installation of the mercs cold air, it's boxed buddy. I don't know where you get your info from, but walk in a pro shop and show them this RS3 and then come back to me.
Simple concept you have to understand is that the colder the air going in the more gas you can burn. The hotter the air , less gas.
It has nothing to do with charged air and intercooler bud.
It's before that. We are talking about combustion, you're talking about internal and turbo cooling???

That CTS intake is one of the worst for the platform. It's the baby dick pipe more so than the open intake.
@@knotical689 that cone is what someone does with a trashy ass ricer...cold air going through, you're telling me intercooler is just a magical thing, it heats up as well, the colder the air going in, the better charged air through intercooler. Like I said, trashy cone. You have your prime examples of other vehicles but you wanna stick to your BS. Fine with me, manufacturers should really have you at their next tech meeting.

The only v8 that Benz makes now is just the s580 but apparently they might bounce back in 2024
Yeah, but the 4 cylinder in itself is an awesome engine. Of course it’s no v8 and I would argue that I would even prefer their new-ish inline 6 from the 53 models over the 4 cylinder, but the engine on its own will be able to produce over 500whp with just a tune.
Combined with the electric motor, a simple tune or tune and downpipe will have the car at over 700whp.
Listen to the gen 2 CLA45 with a downpipe, they sound damn good regardless of cylinder count, it reminds me of a flat plane crank v8 a little. They could’ve done a lot worse

90% of C63 purchases will go to M3 now because of 4 cylinder.
