150 yards kyl using the vudoo and federal automatch ammo. The 22 dollhair box from Walmart.we have seen what guns can do shooting quality stuff, lets change it up a little. Cheap ammo expensive gun challenge.
When I was a kid (I'm 54) a pro shooter advertising Ram-Line 30 and 50 rd mags for the 10/22, was shooting at a sheet of aluminum and would draw a silhouette of an Indian Chief! it's obviously easier draw a head on paper and try to trace the pattern while shooting fast Semi Auto but not "Full Semi Auto. With gun and distance variations the possibilities are endless. And you could end up with some "Trench Art". You could carve a Jack o lantern in 5 months
Do the “22 man” shot from Garand Thumb! Coke can at 700 yards with a Ruger 10/22. 22Plinkster did it but not with a Ruger and took way more than 10 shots. Good Luck!
Josh as always wanted to say fantastic shooting. Your channel is very inspiring to say the least. I hope to have a link to my own cool shots for you to look at one day. Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to what’s next. All the best ….ps maybe shoot a Lego man’s little gun out of his hand
25, 50, 100, 150yards hitting/striking and igniting “UCO strike anywhere matches”. Strike/ignite one, you go on to the next distance. 10 shots pr distance. Gun and ammo of your choice.
sweet... could not get my JARD straightened out - sent it back 3 times... Dean did refund it... the Timney works great at 8 tenths of an ounce... for the next challenge - draw the wing of a house fly... i remember the the fly you executed at 50 yards... my money says you could do that... at 100 yards plus... love your channel... from an old Jarhead...
Great video Josh, but I have a question regarding barrel length. Just bought a CZ457 Varmint in 22WMR which I know cannot be used in NRL22. I'm wanting to get into NRL22 soon but can't decide on what barrel to buy in LR. My options are a standard Varmint 20", a Varmint 24" Nitride SR, or a Varmint 16-1/2" Nitride SR. Any recommendation would be appreciated. Thanks...
Hey Josh, I’m trying to locate a 22 long rifle to hopefully get into doing a few competitions and just plinking with my dad i’m really searching for a CZ457 varmint MTR, but I can’t seem to find one. I’m trying to figure out what would be my next best option for that same price point in your opinion. Btw love the content keep it up.
The smallest target you can hit with your first three shots at 180 yards. Sighter shots may be taken, but they must be shot no closer than 50 yards less than your main target. Or, If you have access to a longer range, what is the furthest you can hit a 12” target with each of your first three shots. Again, slighter shots can be taken no closer than 50 yards less than your main target. Shooting the stock CZ 457, and then all other rifles or configurations who wish to challenge the base CZ MTR.
What ammo did you use bet I could hit one at 100 with my savage mark ii using blazer 40grn haven't tried it out to 150 yet, eley match drops to much at 100 for me so I use the blazer
@@PursuitofAccuracy nice I'm still learning and getting better I like to use my reticle and eley would definitely drop out of it at that distance, ill have to start practicing dialing in my turrets and possibly get a moa rail
Hello, I'm from🇧🇷 Brazil where everything related to shooting is very expensive. In your opinion, if you had to choose a weapon, would it be the cz 457 22lr or the fx pantera?
@@PursuitofAccuracy I've been debating the triggercam, but I know it crops out a lot of the sight picture. The sideshot you have there looks really good. Does it mess with your diopter or focus?
@@zackerydonelson1332 no not really. It has a manually focused lens that you turn to focus so that can be a pain when you first set it up. Other then that it's pretty straight forward
Lifesaver challenge. Shoot THROUGH the center hole of "X" # of lifesaver (5 with 10 shots allowed, or comparable) at 100-150 yds with paper behind to prove it went through the center. Don't break the Lifesaver..Mwaaaahaaaahaaaa. It's tough, I've tried it.
I would like to see you cut a playing card in half at 100 yards... I've done it myself in 3 shot with a factory (all but the trigger) 457 VPC with a 16.5 non MTR barrel.
Who cut the Krieger barrel? Krieger makes an awesome barrel blank, but IMHO there are better folks out there to finish the blank. As for your challenge, how about a 50 yard KYL at 200 yards, no wind, rifle of your choice. If I've done the math correctly the last one would be 1/8 MoA, challenging tough to even see at 200.
@@PursuitofAccuracy Every time I start to think about starting a shooting based youtube channel I see a comment like this reminding me it isn't worth it. I shot a 10 shot 0.260" group at a 100 yards the other day with my custom 30BR benchrest rlfle (which I chambered/smithed myself and spent hours perfecting the load). I can just see the comments now "With a front and rear rest like that the gun basically shoots itself!" or "Now do it standing and I'll be impressed!" maybe a "My RPR did that with off the shelf ammo and a $250 scope!".
Gun of your choice. Wood matches. 15 shots at 3 match heads. Start at 100, 125, 150. Hit to move on.

Raspberry on a toothpick, slow mo replay. Nice shooting by the way.

outstanding
When all the cicadas come out, we need to have a competition to see who can get the longest shot on one
Lol i heard about that
Amazing 💯
Figure out a way to mount empty 22lr cases pointed back at yourself. Try to fill those empty cases with lead at different distances
i shoot a 10/22 with arken ep4l withe eley force. i shoot at tacks at 100 yards. dont think could pull of 150 though. good job

Any of the 457 variants are good bases to start with.
Learned a lot from you about shooting rimfire. How accurate do you think the Bergara B14R carbon fiber barrel vs something like a Krieger barrel?
Hard to say honestly
