    1. Attach the 1/2” base plate to the 3/4” fence piece. Add glue if you want and then use 2 clamps to hold together the pieces. The base fits so the cut outs match up and in the bottom rabbet. The rabbets on the sides of the base should match the rabbets on the back of the fence. Drive 2 number six 1.5” in the middle holes.
    2. Insert the corner brackets into the slots that match up on the base and fence. Add glue if desired and clamp in place. Predrill holes with a 3/32 or 5/64” bit. Use the number eight 1.5” screws to attach the corners to the fence. This should result in a 90° angle between the pieces. (Optional - if the top of the corner piece is sticking up from the fence feel free to trim that off so it is flush to the top of the fence).
    3. Last piece is the vacuum hose attachment. The U shaped piece should be first, with the opening of the U straddling the opening on the base and fence. Attach that to the fence with 2 number eight 1.25” screws. Add the rectangular piece over the U shaped piece and screw in place with the other 2 number eight 1.25” screws. Having these 2 together, and offset, allows the router bit to have space and keeps the hose from hitting the router.
If you have not yet attached the universal base to your router you can do that now. Remove the base from your router and set it aside. Keep the screws at hand. Remove the plastic off the universal plate and set it on the base of the router so that the recessed part of the screw holes is facing up (away from the router). Locate the holes on your router and line those up with holes on the universal base and screw them in. With some bases it may be necessary to drill a hole to line up to your base.
Once the base plate is attached put your router through the hole in the router table so that the top of the universal base is flush with the top of the router table. Drill holes (if necessary) in the corners of the base plate and use a countersink bit to allow the screw head to sit below the surface. If you don’t have a countersink bit a standard drill bit with an angled tip will work. Pick one that is slightly larger than the screw head and use that as a counter sink bit. BE CAUTIOUS that you do not go too deep!
After you have drill the holes and countersunk the heads you can now attach the universal base and router to the router table

I was just taking pre-orders for a large order and that closes in a few minutes from right now and then I might start going back to making them on my own again
