This is just what I needed to hear. We are Christian and my daughter attends a Christian school, however a lot of the kids at school like to dress up or go trick or treating, and I do not allow her to. I really did not know how to relay it to her, because she loves God, but she wanted to be in the "so called fun" of partaking in this festival. Now I will work out a way to tell her that this is not honouring God. I always thought that the costumes these days reflect evil. Thank you for this message

Good for you, you are investing in your daughter and her salvation. I am not understanding how these church and Christian schools are looking for “Halloween loopholed agenda” it’s a pagan holiday! It doesn’t matter if you celebrate it two days before the 31 or not, it’s paganism. I believe the only celebrating Jesus mentions is memorial and His resurrection, because His suffering for us lead to our redemption to God the father. I told my daughter that people are naive about certain things and some know the truth and still do as they wish. It’s best not to follow those either way, because I tell you what I know and we wouldn’t want to disappoint God by either, not knowing and being reprimanded for not studying His word or knowing the truth and doing it anyway because we wanted a slight moment of fun.

What about God’s many names? As far as it goes Lucifer is a name affiliated with Satan the devil. I choose not to celebrate The Day of the freakin dead. With ghosts, witches and vampires ( by the way are bloodless)blood is life, twilight fans, there’s nothing godly or moral about vampires either, no matter how hot you thought Robert Pattinson was.😂

I agree with everything except the last few minutes where you say it's ok to have an alternate party on that date, but by doing so you would not be displaying to any onlookers your separation from the holiday as a show of devotion to God but would again be blurring the lines and become background noise.

As an RN I was asked to dress up. I usually was a cat. Super easy! One year I was pregnant so I wore red and green & made a big tag attached to a ribbon that said “do not open til Dec. 25th” lots of people enjoyed that one. My favorite had to be the year I was working in a detox center & rented a Snow White costume. It was funniest to me & the other nurses because our 2 new admits (who were intoxicated) kept looking at me & then each other. I bet they did not know what day it was. I did let my girls dress up for the school party, but the costume had to be approved, no witches, devils or such.
I didn’t know that the reformation was dated 10/31. I enjoy your videos. I always learn something.

Agreed, it isn't a Matter of Salvation if you celebrate all hallows Eve or other pagan holy days such as saturnalia yule rebirth of nimrod (Christmas), or the mythological pagan holy day Ishtar (Easter)....it is better to focus about relationship with our creator savior Yahushua (Jesus) instead. To celebrate those un holy days you are siding with the adversarial mission. And Christians are desensitized and miseducated about pagan holy days. It isn't okay...but it doesn't remove salvation covering. In this age of information many Christians are learning that Christmas has nothing to do with the savior's birth and Easter has nothing to do with His resurrection. Halloween is a more obvious one to get. Although it isn't a Matter of Salvation.....but I love seeing how Christians are learning about the moedim (our creators appointed times) that are the correct time to celebrate His death, resurrection, the giving of the law, which is now completed perfectly and written on our hearts, the first fruits or resurrection, the fall moedim for future events like the trumpets of the second coming...etc. When I became learned of the real Christian holy days I got super excited and wished I knew these from a child. For those who are questioning the pagan holy days. Research the Lord's feasts/ appointed times. And how they represent important things to celebrate for our relationship with our loving savior Yahushua (Jesus).

I agree with Christians being cautious but doesn't "Halloween" mean "All Hallows Eve" or "All Saints Eve"? It's the day before "All Saints Day" which is November 1st. I think this is a day to remember the dead but not worship them, of course. Somehow through time it has been considered evil or bad maybe because it was a day about the dead. I see it as a harvest day for the kids. This is a time of harvesting for farmers and a day for your kids to go out and gather candy. I don't see anyone worshiping the devil on this day except for what you see in bad horror films from Hollywood. While not a Biblical day, I don't see the harm in Halloween. It's really just another day for me and either way, I could do with or without it. I feel in this "man made day" so to speak. It is what you make it. GOD bless!

How many people were practicing evil when Christ was crucified that day? He opened His arms on that cross and forgave them. I can't see Jesus acting like many Christians I see today about Halloween. If anything, we should take FULL advantage of the day, open our hearts and homes to our neighbors (that means LOVING them, like that pesky commandment of Christ.) Is Halloween evil? I am quite sure. But it's best to light a candle, not curse the darkness.

Thanks for upload you addressed the issue real good ,Halloween is demonic in nature years ago I was out late on the street were people were doing Halloween and I witness a horrific murder .I will not go into a lot of detail here but I believe that the killing was bought about by the manifestation of demonic presence on that street .Sad for the man the was murdered and his 7 kids left fatherless sad for the men who went to jail for the killing sad for me and many others who were left traumatized by what we saw .If we as Christians support Halloween in any way we are opening a door to the demonic lets not beat around the bush .Its no fun thing it will open the demonic realm in some way I hope my warning might help someone to make a right choice and stay right away from any of the celebrations .and yes a lot of churches run light party's and good alternatives for the kids go there .

Our church has a fall festival every year. we had 9000 people last year, and many salvations as a result.. there were people in costumes, we take the approach that the apostle paul does, that we are in the world but not of the world. @MetalVania Před 2 lety

A lot of good points, but I do have to say in response to all of that. I am a Christian as well, and I celebrate halloween for the original Christian founding of the holiday. But I also have fun and dress up as some of my favorite villains or monsters, it Varys each year which. I even enjoy horror films here and there aside from many genres. The Bible says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Now you brought up giving place to the devil, saying Gods unimportant, it's dishonering him when dressing up like monsters etc. Well here's something that you and every Christian should think about, do you like Christian films? No doubt of course. But let's think about the evil characters that are added to all christian films, like for example the movie God's not dead, there's characters that are evil that go against the church in the movie who are played by Christians, sometimes secular actors yes, but mainly Christians in these films. Some may say to me "Well that's different because it's preaching through film". It doesn't matter, if youre a Christian and acting as evil going against Christians and the church in a movie, or even a Christian play in your own Church how is that not imitating evil, nor giving place to the devil? You need to think about these things. Christians out there may mean well because they are trying to preach Gods word through their films, or plays in their Church, but still how is that not giving place to the devil? Especially acting as an evil person going against the Church. So if it's ok to do that, then how is it less worse then dressing up as say Jason from Friday the 13th or the joker or something? Pretending to be someone going against the church seems worse. I mean come on brother, that doesn't add up. To truly give place to the devil is to make it clear to God you dont want to have anything to do with him, and want to do the devils work, that's when you've given place to him and denied Christ. Also think about this, the Bible says "God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise". Just look up Guts church in Oklahoma, they are a huge church and put on a very graphic intense, in your face convicting Christian themed haunted walkthrough, holding nothing back. And just before the exit there's Jesus on the cross, and the people of that church are applauding the attendees as they come out, and people give their hearts to Jesus. God has been moving through that for years, is playing a demon in something like that giving place to the devil? So you see God can even move through Horror if you use it for the right reasons. Guts church I just spoke about has done it for years. Bottom line, if it's ok to as a Christian to act evil that persecutes Christians in christian films, or any christian productions period, then we can celebrate halloween and dress up like a monster. Thank you, and God bless.

I must confess I didn't know the real name for The Devil either until recently.
In Hebrew his name is Heylelel. You know.... (not that I can talk), I don't think the teachers of The Scriptures nowadays really have the education they need to really speak on a lot of the topics of The Devil.
For example.... Who knew that The Devil is a Seraph (6 Winged Fiery Serpent) that had arms and hands/fingers. This is why The Lord God said "You will crawl on your belly and eat the dust of the earth...." How do we know that the Seraph has arms and hands/fingers? Isaiah's lips were BURNED by a seraph's finger. Honestly now.... who knw that? I didn't until recently.
I'm not knocking this guy. I didn't know either, but it certainty gives ungodly people the ammunition they need to attack us when we don't know these things. RESEARCH, brothers and sisters. It's THAT IMPORTANT. I love learning new things about God's word and his creations outside of us.
To go on though.... This man's teachings are still on par for the most part. Rock on in Christ Jesus! Reeses Peaces! :)

October 7 or September 30 for example is not on Halloween and definitely be separated. Dressed up in costumes or just simply casual wear. The truth is there nothing wrong with costumes or set day aside for some enjoyment, Fall Harvest in my set example are nothing connected to Halloween, because September 30 or October 7 is not October 31 at all.
