My 7yo son told me tonight on the way home that Jesus told him to never ever go trick or treating. He said "there were lots of people who poisoned the candy. He also said to never dress up as anything scary." This came from a child that was so excited about halloween until tonight. He went into his room, grabbed his venom costume, threw it down stomped on it then went and threw it away in the trash. Then he said we needed to go through our home and get rid of anything scary or if we have a bad feeling about it to throw it away. So I absolutely followed his lead. We trashed quite a few things. My home spiritually feels so much better. I also prayed Psalms 91 over my kids and home. I have asked Jesus many times to help me raise my boys to know him. Both my boys hear from him on a regular basis. I'm so grateful to God.
That is sad the adults in his life have decided to try and ruining this kids childhood , you should of been there for him, and letting him k ow who ever told him that is a extremist lol

I had a former colleague that was a witch and she professed Halloween was her favorite holiday. I personally saw where she gave beautiful flowers to a Christian colleague for no special occasion. When i advised the christian to get rid of the flowers, which she did, she had become violently ill and had to go to urgent care. Also, this same witch would try to give me chocolate candy out of the blue (which they knew i loved) and the Holy Spirit would tell me to discard it in the trash. I would play worship music in my office and This same person for 5 years would never enter into my office. They would open my door wide and speak to me from the hallway. I saw where she did evil things to others but always kept her distance from me. When in meetings she would sit to the other side. If I sat next to them, they would move. The enemy is powerless against Jesus.
What was in her could see Holy Spirit in you and it made her fearful! Many of us who have "discernment of spirits" gifting have dealt with this! God has blessed you.

I used to be VERY into Halloween. Huge parties, tons of decor, I went all in. One day, about 6 years ago, I woke up and just lost my itch for it. It was like God just shook me one September day and said, “What’s the matter with you? Quit this nonsense.” And I did. Whatever happened to my heart that day, the desire to celebrate Halloween just disappeared and never returned. The weirdest part is that my husband and daughter (who was about 10 at the time) both felt the same way. They were very into the holiday, too, and just followed suit in giving it up without a fight. We haven’t looked back since that day.

I had natural disdain towards Halloween even before I became Christian. Something about certain movies, songs celebrities and holidays, just feel unnatural and dark to me . Ever since I was Buddhist even . Now I see everything so clear and I pray to my Heavenly Father that others will too.

What a wonderful testimony of deliverance from Satanism. I've never liked Halloween and at some point, when my children were still quite young, we stopped participating in it. I got a lot of flack about that decision. I accepted the Lord as my Savior when I was 10 years old; my parents were new Christians and we did Halloween every year, they didn't know any better. Even our church had a haunted house in the basement every Halloween for all the neighborhood children, but they had to stay for a message afterwards and some got saved. However, without discernment they can and will oppress you, even deceive you into acting in an ungodly manner. I knew several men that were spirit filled but under estimated how demons can affect the unprepared. They intentionally went to an area they were told to stay out of because of the demonic worship that went on there. The disobedience to spiritual authority, and the arrogance to think themselves above influence ruined many lives and marriages. I don't think it is appropriate to look for a demon behind every bush, or in every negative event. However, Awareness, Discernment, and immediate Obedience to Holy Spirit are crucial to avoid the traps they can set.

When my daughter was little, she wanted nothing to do with Halloween! I never even said anything to her, she decided on her own she wanted no part of it. At that time Harry Potter became very popular, and she wanted no part of that either. She seriously thought his name was actually Scary Potter!

In 2018 before being reborn Christian my son and I went through some demonic experiences. That made me stop celebrating Halloween. Because just the thought of partaking in anything that involved costumes of evil and death. When me and my son were being tormented day and night. There's Nothing sweet and innocent about what these costumes and images represent. When your living in a real life horror movie.
