  • This teaching provides two important lessons we can learn from the life of Hezekiah. The first lesson discussed is that even when we do right in life, sometimes things can still go wrong for us. The second lesson is that prayer can have a dramatic effect on our lives.
    Verses: 2 Kings 18:1-17, 2 Kings 19:1-4, 2 Kings 19:35

Great synopsis of the power of prayer demonstrated by Hezekiah. Thank you for this message. My verse of the day is Romans 15:4, and you opened your message with Romans 15:4 to demonstrate the timeless power of the Word of God. No coincidences.

Great video! good message. The Bible says we glory in Tribulation. Tribulation produces perseverance which produces hope. Long suffering is one of the fruits of the spirit.

Zech 7: Thus has Yahweh of Armies spoken, saying, Execute true judgment, and let every man show kindness and compassion to his brother.

10Do not oppress the widow, nor the fatherless, the foreigner, nor the poor, and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his brother.”

11But they refused to listen. They stubbornly pulled away their shoulder and stopped their ears, so that they would not hear.

12Yes, they made their hearts as hard as flint, in order not to hear the law and the words that Yahweh of Armies had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. Therefore great wrath came from Yahweh of Armies.- ME# ME- Tell me again oh Lord the past-Tell me now oh Lord how
I am to believe- This is how I feel this morning-Lost-anxious-poor-powerless-yet thankful at the same time of what I have in my soul about #1 Jesus.. my poem this morning- teach me as a child oh lord, it seems I am immature to always need teaching-hear my prayers as a leader and savior will do, for I am no captain able to run a ship- I am a great sinner, yet you forgive me, I do not turn to my vomit and continue in sin, and it puts a smile on your face. You Jesus gave us the way for now- and the future-this comforts me only because my soul has known the savior-the lord-the prayer answerer-look upon those that are not yet saved by your saviorism, let them see your true heart, hear the prayers of the parents crying for their mislead children. Open my ears, my eyes, my heart, my soul to only you-not so easy-yet not impossible-your forgiveness is ongoing forever until once again the stubborn will be pulled away and scattered or even dead.. help me and your children to be wise and loving to honor only your decrees. This country honors wisdom and fairness a safe place to live until you return, an example to the world. Remove the lies from our learning-the money-grabbing leaders who line their own pockets-the carelessness of those who have power, to judge and kill legally. We will not oppress the foreigner-but we will not be destroyed by them either, from our rights to do the decrees from our Lord.. We have given money to thieve's like Hezekiah, yet it does not help-we pay attorneys who win just to have to continue to fight for us as it appears justice is nowhere. This teaching from John seems to be very similar to what I see in my life anyway and this country.. people have died for justice and freedom and this is being attacked as we speak- they continue to knock at the door of war-taunting, just like what happened to Hezekiah- I hate to see God's terrible power at work but it looks like there may be no choice. My prayer is for our generations to be winners now. For our leaders-warriors-fighters of the faith and peace to be strong-for protection for them and for wisdom and open ears and eyes to hear. Only thru your eyes can we decree the truth-Strength thru peace-not being cowards or blind. Open our eyes so we don't get caught away into the 4 winds of hell, answer the prayers of families whose children have been tricked by wicked teachers and people, and have gone astray-make a way for them to escape and repent, for you can change their hearts with a breath from your nostril. Take back what has been stolen from us in learning-justice-power-freedom-government-and protections., give us a reason to want to be peaceful, honest, fair and let our kindness be noticed as your decree not taken over and stamped out by wickedness. Amen
