I'm 76 and been suffering with sciatica for about 2 months after moving bags of compost from the car to the shed. I'll definitely be trying some of your exercises to try and relieve the pain. Great explanation and I hope they work.
I'm sorry to hear you've been suffering with sciatica recently - I hope they prove beneficial for you!
Will is a GENIUS ! Dozens and dozens of other Internet Doctors have done nothing for my issues. Will has hit the nail right on the head for everything.
I am 79 and have been very active all my life so when I herniated the L5/S1 last October and could hardly walk as the Sciatic nerve caused me to loose power in the main muscles and also tingling in my shins but no typical sciatic pain in my buttocks. I had a CT scan and my MD basically said that I was worn out and prescribed an NCAID which really didn't have any affect. Like everyone I look at lots of videos but didn't seriously try any of the exercises until I saw this one - couldn't believe it as doing these religiously morning and night after two days I could actually walk up the stairs properly and get back to normal walking - I am now waiting on the delivery of your book and will read with interest.
Good for you!! 79 is still young.
GOD IS GOOD, DON'T GIVE UP ON JESUS PLEASE 🙏🏽
Thank you!❤

These exercises make sense and the explanations are clear and understandable, thank goodness for some expert advice.
I am so grateful I've just discovered you. I don't fall under the "70's" but I'm 62 anf have been struggling with sciatica for atleast 2 years as a result my muscles in that leg are fading away quickly now. All the exercises I've found and tried hurt for days. I watched this video and did the exercises immediately. After 60 we're still young, we just need the right help and advise. Very very grateful,be blessed. Thank you from South Africa.
Just found your video. I am 73 years old and was still doing an active job. Six weeks ago, my lower back turned, with no warning, into absolute agony. I am waiting for an MRI scan. I cannot lie on, nor get up from a bed at the moment and sleep in a chair, but I will certainly try your seated exercise. Thank you for catering for us older folks, sometimes we all we need all the help we can get.
I'm so sorry to hear about your injury and the pain it caused you, I hope you get answers to what caused it following your scan - I hope my videos can offer support for your recovery journey!
Thank you for making a video for Seniors with Sciatica. I have been suffering with it for 4 months and last night was horrible. Again, thank you

You are the best on CZcams hands down. A real pro!
I’m 65 first time sciatica. Severe pain. Not going to the bone cruncher. I watched a video on that, and there is no way anybody’s gonna crack my back.
Just ordered your book and very excited to read it! Despite exercising and being thin my entire life, I have had 4 back surgeries and now osteoporosis. I have been pain free since my last fusion 4 years, then did something stupid at the gym and now have sciatica again. Your exercises have given me relief, and I’m hopeful this will clear up on its own. Thank you!
Thank you for purchasing my book, I hope you find it full of interesting and helpful information! I'm sorry to hear that you're suffering from sciatica, though I'm pleased my video was able to offer some relief - I'm wishing you all the best in your recovery :)
I am 74..chiropractor says My problem is a hamstring..his therapy and exercises did not help..I actually was unable to do them, and hurt worse...so I am researching..I found a spot the is sore to touch were sciatica seems to be close and the pain does go down my leg at times. I am going g to treat this as sciatica issue, although I have NO back pain. He wanted me to go to an orthopedic surgeon next. The very day i was to go my husband be ame very ill...so he came first..discovered he has a UTI. God works in mysterious ways, so needs g to be home, I started to look for easier exercises to help me, and found you. I was taking motion for pain relief as of yesterday. I did not need any before bedtime, nor this morning after starting to take your advise. ..I hope it continues to feel better each day. Thank you for your thorough explanation of everything. It is a good day. Thanking the Lord for you. Have a blessed Resurrection Day! Christine
I'm so sorry to hear about the problems you have been experiencing and I'm sorry to hear about your husband's problems, I hope he is feeling better now - I'm very pleased my video has been able to offer you some relief and I hope this continues to aid your recovery! Wishing you all the best :)
If you need NEURO surgery, why not see a NEUROsurgeon, not orthopedic. Orthopedic is for hips and knees.

Thank you for that information
Your sciatica floss technique video was very helpful when I was diagnosed with a bulging disc. I also added to my routine some of the exercises you advise in some of your videos regarding my injury. At that time I did not know who to turn to. Your exercises have made a huge difference, six months later and I have stopped taking my medication. I still got some tingling sensation but no pain anymore. I still do your exercises daily and visit my physiotherapist once a week. Thank you, Will!
That's fantastic to hear - keep up the great work!
I’m a skilled Nursing provider. Love your page. I’m such a fan. Thank you! From me and my clients!

You are a lifesaver, thank you. My pain has improved greatly and I have only done the exercises twice so far today. I am so glad I found you had a video on sciatica and especially for we septuagenarians.
That is fantastic to hear, I'm so pleased to hear your pain has eased! Wishing you all the best :)
I love the simplicity of these exercise. They’re very doable, as we all tend not to exercise regularly when they are complicated!
So pleased my advice is practical, that's the most important thing!
Wow! I can’t believe the difference these gentle exercises make in lessening pain and stiffness from my sciatica. I do them before getting out of bed each morning, and again later in the afternoon. I’m 71 and I am so encouraged by the improvement in the way I feel. So thankful to have found you, Will! God bless you! 😊
Thank you Will. I have been doing your exercises and they work. My sciatica pain is improving . Thank you again.
That is fantastic to hear, keep up the excellent work!
I'm sure sciatic nerve pinching can happen in different locations (lower back, butt/upper thigh) and for many reasons (muscle, disc, cartilage), but when I had bad pain upper thigh/butt on one side after a pretty bad fall, this one backward bending while lying on my tummy gave me great relief quickly that lasted through the day - I do it in the morning on an empty stomach (it's easier because I feel lighter and can do it unhindered by the mass in the stomach!) Here it is -
1. Lie down flat on your tummy.
2. Bend your legs at the knees with flat side of feet pointing up.
3. Lift up your front portion at your shoulders reaching for your feet/ankles with your hands.
4. Grab your feet/ankles with your hands - lifting up legs all the way up at the pelvis makes it easier to catch on to your feet.
Ideally, you'll be backward seesawing, tummy being the pivot. Hold the position as long as you can (less than a minute, I reckon) This might not be for everybody and need to use caution and improve on it gradually (this disclaimer is redundant because it is auto-imposing - if it's not for you, you wouldn't be able to do it and certainly can't perfect it quickly unless you're a gymnast). Now that was too long; hope it helps someone that had the patience to read it through.
Thank you I have been suffering for a month and am now getting some relief!
I'm sorry to hear you've been suffering, but so pleased my video was able to offer some relief!

This is Gammy Faye on Papa Al’s iPad, I should buy one
February 14 is when it hit me doubled over with pain and I knew where it was coming from and it went all the way to my foot left side. Went to ortho doctors and of course he prescribed a steroid which took me four days to get another story. Plus x-rays and come back in two weeks. I was really not heavy at this moment. I don’t know if the steroids did anything. I took some over-the-counter things but over the next going on three months I have found at night I go to bed with either a bag of rice heated in the microwave, comfy and it’s like a sedative. After a while, I started using a mushy ice that wasn’t really frozen another sedative of sorts. It was sciatica. I have no doubt. Then I had a return of the planter fasciitis. Too long too many doctors. I have done these sessions before and I’m going to my husband‘s pool table and start again. Thank you for reminding me. It’s just pretty simple. I do have less pain I am improving. I have been walking up to 2 miles on a gym floor padded until Valentine’s Day today I went and walked about seven laps just to get back into it.
I’m really enjoying your videos and finding them very helpful. They are also serving as confirmation that my physio is having me do the right things.
Thank you so much 🎩🙏🤗🌹

I will try these. I’ve tried the other ones and I hurt worse. Thank you.
I'm a very recent, over-fifty subscriber to your channel, and am so glad that I found it. I watched this video on sciatica relief for the first time about five (5) days ago, and immediately started doing the first exercise discussed (holding the knees together, then tilting them to each side). My sciatica isn't overly severe, but it did bother me occasionally when I walked...until I started doing your first exercise, that is. Since watching this video, my sciatica hasn't bothered me once, so I'm now going to add the rest of the exercises detailed herein. Thank you for these outstanding videos, Will; from my point of view, you're a true life-saver! Sincere appreciation coming your way from Phoenix, Arizona.
That is fantastic to hear I'm so pleased my video was able to offer such substantial and rapid relief for you - I hope my videos continue to offer support to prevent you from suffering with your sciatica - wishing you all the very best :)

Hello, Thank you for this video. I am 70 +. Right now I’m dealing with PAD and sciatic pain. I was wondering if these stretches will be appropriate for both conditions. Thank you for your time.
These are my pilates exercises for my sciatica taught to me over twenty years ago at a treatment centre.
If I feel my back going into spasm I start these exercises daily and get rid of the issue.
I wish I could be bothered to do them regularly.
