65 yo, able to do all with ease. So very happy! I do about 50-100 squats a day, 5-10 mins of Asian squats, heel lift for my ankles and just stretches as much as I can for hip mobility. Fighting my way through aging. I don’t want to be like the ppl that I saw on a cruise. Not that old but walking around with canes and scooters. So I am going to do all these exercises until I can’t. They motivate me to keep up with my exercises.
Until I ran one morning when I was 62 and tore a ligament from spine to sartorius muscle I was very active. I used to walk 2 or 3 hours up local hills no problem. The torn ligament stopped that. It hurt ....a lot 😮. But, like you I was determined to overcome. Now age 76 have developed chronic problem re tilted pelvis but keeping stretching and walking and just moving even if a bit difficult is the best thing. Just do as much as you can. I do use a cane but only when I need it eg after sitting having a coffee and chat with a friend 😅
@@helenamcginty4920 No matter what we do, eventually it will come but with hard work, I hope to delay any mobility issues. Just gotta move, one step at a time.
Check out the ATG guy on youtube. He has some excellent ways to stay strong. He even put his 70 year old mum thru a program..
I started working out more after visiting my parents in a senior’s residence. People could not move without assistance. It lit a fire under my butt. I am 61.
@@beverlynorris557 my cruise departs from Fort Lauderdale so maybe that is why I see more older folks. I just can’t get over the amount of walkers in all shapes and sizes. Even scooters on the ship! On one hand, I am glad that when my time comes, I am still able to enjoy a vacation even when I need assistance. On the other hand, I am saddened by the future that we are gonna have. So I am definitely working this old body until the end of time.
Superb presentation....
British!
No annoying music either!!
agree

Thank you so much, Will. I’m 73. My upper left leg had been causing me a lot of pain over the last four months. Some days I could hardly walk on it. Spoke with a doctor and he suggested Advil as needed. The Advil helped tremendously but only lasted a few days and the pain returned. So, it looked like I’d be living on Advil. A friend said it sounded like I would need a hip replacement. Watched your video and began doing the hip rotations. Almost instant success. I’ve been doing them for just a few days now and I can’t believe the pain has almost completely disappeared. No Advil. The leg feels much stronger and I don’t even have to use the bannister going up and down stairs. It’s a miracle. I feel like I’ve got my leg back and my life. I cannot thank you enough.
I was wondering when your book will be available as an ebook. I like the portability and control over font size that ebooks allow. Again, my sincerest thanks! Dennis
I love this story! Amazing how many doctors know so little about how to keep a body healthy. When we stop moving we start dying.
That's why my go-to practitioner is my physio!

70 years old here. Began working out seriously 4 years ago and now workout 6 times a week and love it. 2 days group training, 2 days boot camp and 2 days one-on-one with a trainer. I still have aches and pains, but refuse to become inactive. I went from not being able to squat past 90deg knee flexion, to doing a full asian squat (though I can't stay down there - yet). My one-on-one sessions work on strength but mostly on stability and balance. One of the unexpected benefits is the mental discipline - getting comfortable with being uncomfortable and not giving in to the voice that says "I hate this" - and just experiencing the burn. It spills over into the rest of my life. Having a trainer - whether in group or solo - was a game changer for me. I am saddened when I see "old people" at the supermarket and realize they are my age.
Yes. I met a lady after a yoga group. Guessing her as ten years senior to me. She said she her age. She was ten years YOUNGER.
This is great! Thanks for always including beginner - medium - advanced methods.
You're very welcome
Wow. I'm 50+ and have been experiencing pain in my right upper arm and left hip, then I did tbe exercises in this video and now I feel much better. Thanks.
Me tool I'm 80.
I am 70 from India and love your video. God bless you.
Yep, indiam people have the advantage of sitting in the deep asían squatt insted of chairs so they keep their hip, knee and ancle mobility till very avanced aves, my 92 year old mom is indian and has perfect mobility and muscle tone of her legs. Thanks to her insistence that me and my brothers sit at home in the deep asian squatt all of us have very good low body mobility and very good toned legs. 😊
Just ordered the book after a few months watching videos. You have helped my knee cap issues from an old skiing rotational sports injury. I wish I listened earlier. He may be young but please listen to him. I’m mostly a high impact fitness fanatic and this man has levelled my fitness. 😊 I can’t wait to read.
Thank you so much for your kind words and support!
Thank you for sharing
Genuine no nonsense exercise straight to the point thanks

Very helpful. Thank-you, Will.
Helpful. I needed this. Thanks.
Thank you will, you do a great job instructing us oldies but goldies. ❤😊
Will I'm gaining stability and strength incorporating some of your exercises - particularly standing to sitting while keeping knees sytaight. I have a long way to go as I'm very weak but this is the best progress I've had in several years. Thank you.
That's fantastic to hear! Keep up the great work :)
Bringing the foot in isn’t to bad but I can barely go outward! I’m only 50, looks like I have some work to do! Thanks for the great advice!!
Practice makes perfect!
Going outward or hip internal rotation has limited range anyway so I won't worry too much about it. Plus it's not really very necessary functionally.
THANK YOU- very helpful- will buy our book! Very appreciative for your help in this video
I love your exercises and so does my senior exercise class. Being an RN I appreciate your explanations. I use these to help my class understand why they Must keep moving to live an enjoyable and healthy life. Enjoy your book too. Keep up the good work! Thanks.

Thank you, good channel!
Great help, thanks 🙏🏻
The exercises for bursitis have helped a lot. And thank you for the tip of not crossing the legs!
Even as a child I never could do squats. Always fell over, usually backwards. Worse when I reached puberty and grew breasts. So doing the partial squat is as far as my body is willing to do! However the other two exercises were a breeze. I’m closing in on 70 years under my belt.
It's always good to find alternatives that work for you - keep up the great work!
You are a great help . I follow your exercises daily as recommended by you😋
Phantastic! Thank you so much!!
Thank you
Thank you. I’m 61, can do most of it but fond some issues. Definitely good stuff to work on. As a side note this year I’m working through some injuries that I did to myself by doing not age appropriate exercise. It’s finally occurred to me I’m not 30 anymore and I have to retool my fitness routine.
Wishing you a smooth recovery from your injuries and all the best in the new year!
Life changing video. Wonderful. Thanks Will!
So pleased it was helpful!
I love these exercises. I have a mix of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. I have had one knee replaced and will need the other. I do as much as I can. I am very active.

That's great to hear!
Thank you ,will try everyday.👍👍👍💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻❤️
Wishing you all the best!
I'm new to your videos and I have to say that I'm going to give them all a whirl due to stiffness and pain from sitting too much with my job. And I've learned that sitting begets more sitting (makes a person incapable of standing for very long or walking for very long). Thank you for showing how to correct all that's going wrong.
Just subscribed Will, looking forward to doing the exercises.
Thank you very much.
You are welcome!
Thankyou🙏🏾

Thanks again Will. You have an amazing ability to explain these simple exercises clearly. Your inserted diagrams make it all so clear, without being too wordy, so much better than many well-meaning contributors and so practical for us oldies. Thank you! 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind feedback - I am often trying out new ways to present my work and it's great to hear what people find useful so that I can continue to implement it! Have a great day :)
