Gosh what a thrill it must of been to work with James Gandolfini… he was consumed by the process of transforming into Tony Soprano and his performance showed that. He will forever be my all time favorite actor, I so wish he was still here, love(d) him 😔
I think its kind of funnier that the actors in real life had the same awful timing when interacting with eachother. Georgie in the show always caught tony on the wrong day and i think that is so funny that they had the same goofy mishaps on set.

Gandolfini was famously a pretty chill dude. Georgie's telling a story about how he ruined his tattoos because he snuck up behind him and gave him a bear hug. He's supposed to be pissed and breathing heavy during a scene, how's he gonna do that without getting hyped. And you're right, they're getting paid, but they aren't gonna get paid again if they don't show they got the acting chops to do a good job.
