Tony visiting a psychiatrist and it being weird was the whole premise of The Sopranos at the start. The show acknowledges it's not something you do as a mob member, but it was great for storytelling and character development.

I would love to see him react to scenes from the Italian mob series "Gomorrah".
It's about the Italian Camorra in Naples and not the American Italian mob, but I've seen him react to scenes from Yakuza games before. So it would be interesting to hear his take on the series and the differences between the Italian and American Mafia. Because the series gets a lot of praise for the realism. Most events from season 1 are actually based on events from the real world.

It's because Gallo was part of the same Columbo Family. One question I had was why did he walk through the front door and then back by the kitchen and then come back to shoot Gallo? I had heard that the killers came from the back door through the kitchen and then hit Gallo.

The sopranos addressed the talking a psychiatrist thing in season one and there was an attempt on his life.
They kind of moved on from it in the later seasons because it helped with character development and moving the story.
