For the MacBook 2021, with the M1 Pro chips, instead of Command + R, you need to shutdown the computer. After the computer is completely turned off, press and hold the power button until it goes into the recovery mode.

Big question. Which version will it reinstall? The one you just had or newer? I want what I currently have. I’m only resetting because a dj software I installed was updated and I can’t control my turntables anymore. I tried to delete the dj software but the note update won’t delete. So I have to reset my os and install the dj software and not the dj software update.

Huseyin has the real solution for the Mac I am working on, and all all he did was write a comment. Don't waste your time watching this video if you have an a2338 model or later. Just power down and hold the power button and don't let go when power it back on. I wish I could subscribe to a Huseyin's comment 😀
