Russell Peters was beginning to be known and his timing was off on many of his jokes. He is so much better today. So you can get your head out of Russell Peters ass and maybe more objective by doing so.

He sure go better over the years. His core jokes remains the same, but he refined them over the years. His style here also had a hint of Def Jam comedy. This is probably before he started traveling a lot. In his later works, there would be more detail in his stories like shopping district in hong kong and more localized accents. Some comedians keeps coming up with new materials like fashion trends, but Peters' the type that refines his stuff, his core message had always remain the same; We're different, but also very similar.

I came to Canada in 1953 age 5. 55 years I felt I was the least Canadian most English person around. Then in 2008 I went back for 10 days. When I was flying home I was looking at the North shore of the st Lawrence seeing all the islands and rivers. Coming in over Ontario I was like there's Lake Simcoe, Got off the plane and wanted to kiss the ground, the first Canadian (unfortunately it was a janitor). I AM CANADIAN!!
