That's the piece that introduced me to Russell Peters. I was in summer school in 2007 - listening through the earphones with my classmates, cracking up. Till we got caught and yelled at. It was worth it. Good times.
Yelled at? When I was a university professor and giving my class an exam I noticed a guy with his headphones on. Hmmm. Could he possibly be cheating? I had no choice but to check and dreaded the possibility that Id have to fail him. I asked for the headphones, put them on - and it was rap music. VERY loud rap music. I handed them back. No problem. If he can focus and write an essay at the same time, more power to him. And I seem to remember that he got himself an A-.
