It was so funny watching you wash your hair in the sink. As someone who has had to do this numerous times in my life, normally you stand in front of the sink and lean over face down so you rinse, etc. back to front instead of front to back like in a salon. Just so you know if you ever have to do it again. :)
I think maybe she was trying to avoid getting her freshly tanned face wet? Not sure though.

I don't know what it's like to be truly down. I was sick with covid and had chills, aches, shakes, and all sorts of stomach upset. I had to hold back my nausea and change poopy diapers anyway. You're absolutely right. This household could not function without mommy!
@@EamonWill I've had covid too where I pushed through it bc everybody else was dying evidently. The only time I took off was when i had that stomach bug going around that nobody else got but me. My husband stayed home without me even asking him to bc I was scaring him. I watched all of the flight attendant when I wasn't puking. It was glorious.
This was fun! A day in the life with you...you're so REAL and that helps me realize that real is okay. I forget that perfect isn't real. You're both great at reminding me that no one is perfect! đâ€ïž

I loved everything about your team on this race but the thing I loved most was how open Kim was about her anxiety.
As someone who suffers from anxiety and had a sudden but small panic attack today I know exactly how anxiety feels....but I love how open Kim is with hers cuz it helps me so much with mine.
The thing I loved most about Penn was how supportive he was of his wife and how proud he was of her.
His reactions to her completing tough tasks was always so heartwarming to watch.
I didn't know who you guys were before the race(sorry), but I'm so glad that the race cast you for season 33 cuz not only did my favorite team win, but it also introduced me to you channel and I now watch it every day.
Iâ€you guys so much, thanks for not only making a difference to my life, but to your fans lives, and people who suffer from anxiety too.

This was great! I like seeing you as you! Your funny videos crack me up & are totally relatable, the humor my day needs and it's great to see you as you also! I like that term "toxic trait", funny stuff, totally get it! And with ADHD I can truly relate to Penn & I have that same trait too...that's why there are almost 30 things on my to do list. Oh my goodness! The struggle to get those important yet not pressing appointments made is so real! Couple ideas: 1) Pay your oldest to make the calls. Itâll help her get over the phone call fears most kids have these days. 2) Make the appointment online... our car place has an online appointment calendar. And if the time doesnât work, they call or email me. Itâs about putting the ball in their court so I donât have to remember.

I have crazy busy weeks too but my kids are 8 and 5 so a little different. Need a meal plan from you now. Start with grocery shopping trip and some breakfast, lunch and dinner at home inspirations. đđœ
So I retired from the Army about 4yrs ago and trying to figure out my next step..so been throwing around the idea of like a Reading Rainbow..and this was SO ENLIGHTENING! I would absolutely Love to see more videos like this! Yâall are seriously amazing and inspiring!

My week's used to be like yours. Now that I'm retired I get to take a nap every day!
I have a sticky note list of things to do when I have time. Itâs been up there two months and I still have not washed the patio furniture or the car or cleaned out the storm shelter. I say Iâm gonna do those things EVERY WEEKEND but they never get done. Cause they arenât as important as what comes up daily I guess. I get tired thinking about it.
That was fun. YES! Once a month maybe?
Kim, I totally feel you in worrying about how to get everything done. I really recommend reading the book âFour Thousand Weeksâ by Oliver Burkeman. Itâs a funny, sorta psychology and sorta philosophy book about how much we stress about doing all the things. He has some great thoughts about how to focus on what really matters in our short time here on earth, and how to let some things go. I need to read it again because itâs so packed full of great stuff, and I felt so much better after reading it!

Wow, for an introvert, you are amazing. I couldn't do all that...lol. No, I have spent most of the week sequestered in my kitchen creating a custom cake for a 90th birthday party. It was nice to go to the dollar store today :)
