I once sat middle seat, middle row, on an international flight to Beijing (13 hours). Next to a toddler. (Not mine.) And I would do that again in a heartbeat rather than endure whatever else 2020 has to offer.

We must have been on the same flight because I sat next to the toddler’s little brother AND I’d rather do that again than another year of COVID.

I would rather spend 8 hours in a Home Depot or Lowes, while my husband looks for the perfect doodads for his various projects. Trust me, I can't stand to be in one of those stores for more than 15 minutes. They don't make any sense to me, and there is never anyone around to help! Alternatively, I would listen to my 9-year-old wax poetic for 10 hours about all the various Pokemon, their evolutions, and the special powers on all of their corresponding cards!
To get rid of Corona, I'd attend three days of 8 hour HOA meeting in a row.

I don't have to deal with a HOA anymore, but when I did, there were always a couple of folks who started yelling like naughty toddlers. Is that typical?

Since I have a mild social phobia and I like working from and staying at home, I don't know if I need to do anything to change 2020. I already do housework, take out the garbage, prepare my daily meal and clean two cat litter boxes. Since I don't watch TV or go to movie theaters, (addicted to both, now reformed) I could binge-watch reality TV or watch a movie theater marathon before the next Marvel superhero movie opens. (How many are there? 25, 30 or more? I don't know.) Another Holderness Family classic of on point topics and laugh out loud fun. I could say I won't watch another Holderness video, but 2020 isn't that bad that I would deny myself this pleasure. Thank you.

I would rather go to a gym daily and get personal trainer sessions until I feel like I'm going to puke. And I'm unfit have bad feet and bad balance. But that sounds more fun then what the world is going through . Im blessed and grateful that we have zero covid cases here

We may not know you personally but your take comedic take on real life issues... a pandemic, parenting, adulting, anxiety, depression, or just every day life makes me feel like I'm not the only one struggling (or crazy 🤪). Thankfully my husband is able to work from home... So when I hear his laughter from down the hall... I know the next thing I'll hear is... "hey babe... I loved 2020! Social isolation, working from home and being with my dogs, living downtown, which became a ghost town, so the residents had this huge, empty space to ourselves except the wildlife that moved in... I'd see people every day, but only in the distance, and it was blissfully quiet. Best year ever.

I would rather go to a professional level ballet class for the entire day. I would rather clean my entire house from top to bottom. I would rather babysit my four cousins (all under the age of 5) for a week without help. I would rather listen to my younger brother sing "Old Town Road" for 12 hours. (He cannot sing) I would rather solve an algebraic expression. I would rather eat no sugar, salt or oil for an entire month. Do you get the gist that I would basically do anything?
I would rather help my daughter with AP Biology homework for upwards of 15 hours a week. Oh wait, I already do that...

This past week my baby... my little 10 month old puppy Thia was sick and she wouldn't eat for like 3-4 days... I had to hand feed her by putting food into her mouth closing her mouth and making sure she swallowed it ... because I was afraid she would die if I didn't. I would do that for another two weeks if it meant we could fast forward to 2021. All I care about now is my puppy is alive and well... and back to eating her normal diet again ... and THANK GOD for it! Also I went to the polls early to cast my VOTE and now I feel much better... I am just so done with 2020!
Interesting. I realize 2020 has been a weird year in which many bad things have happened and which has been very out of the ordinary, but I hadn't thought of it as a particularly bad year - just an odd one. I've had some very good things happen to me this year, and I'm looking forward to more to come, too.

There are some of us that have gotten some good out of this mess - we were able to buy a house with a crazy low interest rate! But for the majority, this year has really been awful - Covid, 3 continents with severe wildfires, 2 with major locust plagues...

2020 didn't affect me much except it was hard to find food when all restaurants were closed. Was out 3 months during the closing. Did meet some nice people handing out food bags to truck drivers

Funny story. My mom, who has never gone golfing in her life, has started watching golf during quarantine.
Poor Penn. His book sounded very interesting. Also, Kim made a very good annoying dentist. 😁 (or dental assistant, or something). Kim and Penn played all the unseen parts very well! 😁 I would do the jalapeños and eyes thing as long as I knew of a relief measure and if it wasn’t damaging. Couldn’t do the Ironman. I’ve seen the Hawaii one - the people crossing the finish line can’t stand up anymore. 😳😭 Also, no need to tweeze - use a haircut scissors and strategically trim.

I used to work as the Human Resources Representative for an 800+ employee manufacturing plant. I used to have to give those health care (and other benefit) option presentations every year prior to the open enrollment period to 7 different shifts!! I don't want to hear complaints about somebody having to listen to them.
How did your kids do school.are they doing online or in school?
I'd do just about anything that is legal to make this yr go away so my kids would be back in school

I’d be totally into discussing Penn’s book. Sound like my type of reading.
I'd take my Dad back to the Lemay car museum. He's been into cars all his life. I thought it would be nice. Five hours later I was ready to steal a car for a getaway. Every car, EVERY SINGLE VEHICLE, no wait, that's not clear enough, E V E R Y S I N G L E V E H I C L E, every damn one "Now, this had blah blah blah as it's selling point. It has a blah, blah, blah engine, and blah, blah, blah, blah blah.. PROBLEM! blah, blah, blah, blah." I heard all the selling points, all the features, all the details I have never cared about, and they all ended with, PROBLEM and fill in whatever the problem was. It was like an intense product course that you were going to be quizzed on while driving the instructor home. And the instructor would then learn you tuned out after car number two. And then said instructor would be disappointed and you'd feel like a heel. I would do it again, I would even take notes, if it meant we could be done with this year.
