I hope you’re right on a number of these - a larger slab and PSA grading would be great for the hobby!

larger slab for my old sporting news would be awesome i kept a bunch in great shape from the early 1980s but that slab would have to be even bigger than the rolling stone covers

Hope you're right about CGC offering bigger sized slabs. I've got the first 2 SI's from 1936 along with 6 others from that SI iteration. First SI from '49. '36 LIFE Joe DiMaggio cover and '41 LIFE Ted Williams cover. Gonna blow your mind here: I amassed an amazing collection from ebay between '00-'06 then stopped collecting. They've just been sitting in boxes all these years. Vaguely knew mags started to be graded but didn't get back on ebay till a couple days ago after years and years. I'm STUNNED at what's happened! I'm like Rip Van Winkel. I've Got The 1st 2 Dummy SI's and the letter that Henry Luce sent out with one of the dummies explaining his idea for a weekly sports mag. I've got the entire 1st year, newstand, all great condition and some even have the cover flaps. My Maris has the cover flap with a big 60. I've got a newstand 1st Mantle with the missing pages. I've got every Mantle newstand. Evey Ted Williams newstand. Every Ali newstand. Every Namath, Nicklaus, Tiger, Jordan, Super Bowl issue up to '06, every swimsuit, every Elway, Marino, Bird, Gretzky etc etc. I've got Bing Crosby's personal subscription issue of Clemente's cover when he was part owner of the Pirates. I've got 8 newstand "Miracle On Ice" issues in mint. I can't believe whats happened to the hobby. I might be retiring early! I may have to start a CZcams channel just to go through my collection then let the world watch as I get them graded. I'm guessing I'm feeling right now like a lot of guys felt back in the 80's or 90's when their baseball card collections started going wild!

i hope you are right on slabs for the sporting news brad but those are even bigger than rolling stone magazines ps i have a bunch of early 1980s sporting news in great shape cmon cgc please
