- Here's an easy way to transform your bathroom mirrors by framing them. I had to gel stain mine to match the cabinets but you could spray paint or stain and polyurethane them what ever color you like.

I appreciate not having to miter the corners! Great, well explained video. Thanks.
Thank you
Exactly
Very good tutorial! In fact, impressive! No wasting time with useless chit chat or overly descriptive comments. You taught me exactly what i needed to know. Thanks a million for a job well done. I have now subscribed. Regards from Ontario, Canada
Danielle Emslie Thank you so much for your comment, I appreciate it very much. Thanks again.
It does look good but you will never be able to remove the mirror without breaking it. Instead of liquid nails use a little clear silicone, and it will hold as long as you need and will still be removable. Otherwise it's a great idea!
@@RichardTShebora clear silicone adheres?!!!
Thank you so much...in all these videos showing framing mirrors, no one shows what to do about the clips that stick out so far. This is perfect. Now I'm ready to frame my mirros.
Thank you
This is simply amazing...I was looking at ways to make my project easier...I was dreading the 45 degree cut. But this looks so much easier. Thanks
+lenej9 I'm glad this video helped you out.
Let's all reflect on the great job he did.
Thank you :)
Ha. Reflect.
I see what you did there

Awesome, I'm glad the video was helpful.
Thank you for this great video. Also great that you linked the molding so I could find it easily at Home Depot. I’m in the process of doing three mirrors. The first one came out great. Can’t wait to do the other 2. Thanks again for great video.
I'm impressed. I like this a lot. Simple and wonderful looking!
You made it look easy. I love it.
That was awesome. I was wondering how to work around the bulky plastic holding pieces at the top. Now I know. Your work came out great! Thanks so much!
I was originally looking for a DIY video that would explain how to take my mirrors down without breaking them, and then I was going to replace them with framed ones. So glad I saw this first. You just saved me lots of time and hassle. Thanks for the video!
+M Walker Your welcome, I'm glad the video helped you out.
Thank you so much for the idea! I'm redoing my bathroom now, and want to update the big mirror. Great Idea, and Great instructions! Tom O.
+Tom Obinger You're wecome.
Thanks so much for posting this and including all the details of how to do it properly. I’ve been looking for an easy way to frame out my bathroom mirrors and this is the best I’ve come across this far.
Hannah Bertzfield Thank you
I like how you told us not to go too far out with the spreading of the Liquid Nails. Good Advice, Thanks! You did a Great job👍🏾
👍
I like the look of the box cut vs the miter cut on the ends of the boards better. Looks great.
Thanks, yeah I didn't want it to look like a picture frame :)
I’m not handy with a saw, this turned out great & easy enough for me to do.
Thank you so much for this video! We followed your instructions and our whole bathroom looks better with the framed mirror. I wish I had thought to do this right when we bought our house.
That's awesome, I'm glad it turned out great.
Awesome work. Now since my wife has seen this it's been added to my honey do list. Thanks. Great job. Looks amazing.

I love your vids! Working on gel staining my vanity cabinets (kitchen next) as we speak & wanted to frame our builder mirrors as well. Timely vid! Thanks so much & keep 'em coming..

Your step by step instruction was very clear and easy to follow. Thank you...!!
+Sompow Leadonn Thanks.

Yes.. thank you for taking the time to make a video of the entire process. End result looks very nice. Now just replace the hideous vanity light bar and the bathroom will be perfect.

Thank you 👍
Great job I just want to re-frame my large living room mirror without needing a saw for corners. Exactly what I was looking for.
This is wonderful - thank you! The last person that owned the house I bought slapped a frame on the bathroom mirror but didn't paint the sides of the frame and so I have a white frame with unpainted sides - you just taught me how to take that ugly thing off and replace it with something I can be proud of...thanks again!
dlhiles Thank you and you're welcome.
Great idea! Huge difference and so easy.
Thanks
I've watched a couple of your videos and really learned a lot! Thank you for sharing
Thank you 👍
Wow! Awesome Job! I just came across your video for something I want to do. I also stained my maple cabinets in an expresso color with the polyurethane already mixed in. Love the deep rich tone of them now. So now I'm taking this video with me to Home Depot and showing them exactly what you did, and telling them this is what I want. Thx so much! 😊
Awesome thank you 👍
This trim really added to the over all effect, I LIKE IT, great job, thanks for the info. I am wanting to do a "simple trim" around my cold air return where the installer messed up the drywall, this will cover the chipping.
Glad it was helpful!
Since I've decided to rehab my home. And my budget is small. I love your videos. You make everything seem possible. Great video.
+Kim Thomas Thank you so much.
+Pete B. I woke up today so excited! Knowing it is possible to update my home and not have to apply for a huge loan!! You're awesome!
I really appreciated the easy mounting method, thanks! I will definitely try this!
Glad it was helpful!
Looks so nice. You gave me an idea for my bathroom. Thanks!
You're welcome
nice looking brushed nickel finish with multiple water spray options
Our master bathroom has a standing shower with handheld shower head.
We started to see some rust spots in the hose not to mention heavy mineral built ups in the shower head because our house has very hard water despite water softener we have.
My wife picked out this handheld shower head to replace our old one because she loves the brush nickel finish to match our bathroom decors but this turned out to be very impressive handheld shower head.
Although I have replaced shower heads many times in the past, it came with nice instruction on how to replace it for those who's not familiar with it. My only advise would be to use wrench to hold the base spout when removing and installing the holding adapter so you don't accidently twist and damage the base pipe when you over tighten it.
I really appreciate that it came with plenty of plumber's tape because you really want to put that on before connecting different parts so that there's no water leak in between threads. This is one of most common mistakes and reasons why there's leak after installing it. Very happy to see that they have provided plumber's tape to remind you to use it!
It also had rubber rings/washers in each connector but it also came with extra one, which is nice. They also included a shower drain cover to prevent hair from going in to the drainage, which is a nice bonus. I really love the brush nickel finish, which makes it look elegant and expensive. The 7 different water spray setting is nice to have so you can change it for different purpose. We will most likely leave it on one setting for most of the times but it's nice to have option to change it when needed, such as jet spray for cleaning the shower wall, etc.
After replacing the shower head, I didn't see any leak and the stainless steel hose feels sturdy. I also like that I can rotate and tilt the shower head holder and it stays in place. Overall, very happy with this shower head!

+KandeeKane85 Thank you.
Just what I was looking for.. Great job!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
You've got skills, I actually wanted my bathroom mirror just like this. I saw it on pinterest but of course I'm not Bob the builder so I would need to find someone to do it for me. Thanks for sharing. 💕💯
👍
Great idea & I think it looks great.
Robert DeMilo Thank you.
Excellent!!! And no cut, not nailing, no power tools for me (I know my limitations). This is E X A C T L Y what I was hunting for to dress up my bathroom. And the gel stain for the cabinet was a bonus suggestion! Love it.
Larene Brubaker Thank you, I'm glad this video helped you out.
Me too.
Were the cabinets you gel stained "real" wood or builder's special mdf-ish stuff?
Larene Brubaker The cabinet doors and face were real wood except for the cabinet ends, They were press board with a laminate face on it.
You sir are a DIY WIZARD ! Keep up the good work two thumbs up ....I gotta go headed to Lowe's right now
Thank you 👍
That looks great. Have looked at a few here on the Tube but yours does not require a lot of tools and mitering, so will go with this. Thanks for posting.
Awesome, Thank you for watching :)
Very helpful video and great job, very professional looking results.
Thank you!
I got my vanity done and it turned out great! I bought the molding to do the mirror and will do that this week sometime. I'm excited to see it all put together!! Thanks for all your help :)
Debi Sizemore Awesome! 👍
oh man, what a mess this is... My mirror is 7 1/2 ft... We tried attaching the bottom molding today and it would not stick...we braced it for five hours , still didn't hold .Any suggestions? We uses liquid nails extreme
That should of stuck to the mirror, of course 7 1/2 ft is long but I would try to brace it or use a long stick from one wall to the mirror frame to push it in place and let it dry for a day.
Beautiful!
It's looks wonderful!!!
Thank you
Thanks so much for this video! I cannot wait to try this. New Subscriber for sure.
+Dee Thank you.

+Sherry D You're welcome
Great way of making an inexpensive custom frame. Thanks
+Dev N Thanks and you're welcome.
I love it. I have two bathroom mirrors that badly need this. Monday I am getting a new vanity installed from Lowes. I then am going to try to do this to the builder grade mirror. I don't know where you live, however, I wish I could pay you to come to my house and do this for me.
You can do this or find some one to cut the boards and paint or stain them to match your cabinets.
Great video. Very helpful.
***** Thanks and you're welcome.
Love it ur video couldn't have come at a better time im updating my home and those new builder plain mirrors where annoying me so im definitely gonna do this..thanks for the walkthrough all ur videos are very informative

Vonnie C awesome 👍
Thanks for this video! I am not a DIY kind of girl but I believe I could do this.
+BigRedH85 You can do it!
Really nice....
Thank you
A bit late but thank you for the video 😄 exactly what I was looking for even though I’m sure it was cheaper 5 years ago I’m still doing it this weekend
Wow, that looks great! We need to reframe our mirror to hide some 'silvering" on the bottom of the mirror. I figure it's cheaper and less hassle to reframe it than to try and replace it.
I'm going to show my husband this video. :) Thanks!
👍
beautiful !
+Xiaolei Yu Thank you.
I would add some hot glue so the trim will stay in place while the liquid nail is curing. My experience is that liquid nail may pull apart due to gravity and the hot glue will hold it in place while it's drying.
👍
Thanks so much I just bought a house and I need to install mirrors and I didn’t want to spend a ton of money.. I’ll DIY and do this in one of my bathrooms
Thank you
great tips. Thank you
Thank you
