- For his upcoming 30th birthday, I gave KITT a comprehensive overhaul.
And it was necessary, because almost three decades do not pass an automobile without a trace, not even on KITT!
Nearly nine months were spent on screwing, sanding, grinding, welding and painting. In addition, there was a completely new interior and a self-developed video- and data bus system to make KITT even more realistic.

I have a KITT sitting outside in need of the same love. My brother bought it like 11 years ago and it's been sitting. It was poorly done in the first place. I need to tear into it this coming year.

What a beautiful job you have made of the restoration. With such fine attention to detail, why did you not change the steering wheel to KITT's custom wheel?
Thank you so much for your kind words! Of course I have the correct gullwing steering wheel for shows and display, but it's against german law to use it in traffic :-)
