I feel like we all love Kojima for how weird and creative he is but damnit i wish he would just make separate smaller funner simpler strictly video game projects next to his ambitious cinematic game projects. Like still be weird and kojima but give us a fun game with fun game mechanics we can just dive into whenever we aren’t getting kojima cinema shoved down our gullets come on!

I used to love this podcast so much but since Bob has left there are always so many technician difficulties that it puts me off. I listen to this on Spotify and it’s been very choppy and for this episode I listened to the same sentence twice for some reason. I will still show up every episode tho but why does it always have to be a live stream 🤣

4:16 .....Was this apology really necessary? Was he actually that upset whether you were kidding or not? And why should any of us care? I'm just a bit confused on why your friend needed you to publicly apologize on the podcast......also confused as to why you felt the need to apologize for what you claim was a joke. That just makes me think that this wrestler is extremely fragile and takes everything way too seriously.......I'm just thinking out loud, and genuinely confused and asking these questions. I just don't get it. And when I try to find the reason and logic behind it, it isn't pretty......and I just don't feel like a podcast about video games is the format to apologize to a friend publicly because his feelings were so hurt about you making a passive comment/joke about how big another man's muscles were......I've been a fan of Wood and Bob for years. So I mean no disrespect. I'm just genuinely confused as to why this is happening, and what warranted that public apology.....Am I the only person who found this a bit strange?

Another Code Recollection is a 10/10 masterpiece, it is an absolutely fantastic game, I highly recommend it!
Also the difference between direction and "best game" is that direction is how cohesive eberything is. Does the gameplay match the characters personality, are thetr in game rrasons for the mechanics to exist, why does everything look, move, feel, respond the aay it does. Does it feel like a unifieed and believable world. Its more about immersion. It soesnt necessarily make the game good, but means that everything is done for a specific reaspn and nothing feels "video gamey" unless thst was thr intended purpose.
Best game on the other hand just means fun. You could have game thst looks awful, has bland acting, a bad story saved by the combat...or swinign as was the case for the rami spiderman 2

This is actually my favorite and in my opinion the best gaming generation even with the consoles the back catalogue of games and even the new games we get are so good there’s a reason we get the Oscar’s but for video games in the game awards every year and completion is insane I never would’ve thought Microsoft would buy activision and Bethesda back then that’s what we know of as of now 😅

Return to dreamland is solid if not easy. Haven't played forgotten land ur eveyone says its great. Star allies while boring single player is fun in co op and had a lotnof replayabikity with the multitude of characters...bur SA and RTDLD have the most fan service of any kirbt game

Strange listening to two guys who make a career fr playing games complain about games and talk about how they don't know or like the people and awards given at gaming shows. Maybe they should self reflect and get back to just enjoying it with joy because for those of us who still love games after decades and decades of gaming it is a great ride. And man, if you dont know or like the people that says your focus is elsewhere. Cause I'm old, a girl, work a full time job and i know who they are and enjoy their streams just like i enjoy yours. ❤ Man, stop and smell the flowers occasionally. The world is on the brink of ww3 but we can still stop and destress in our wonderful imaginary worlds just like when we were kids. ❤

love the podcast but can we please get more diverse co-hosts? like women & poc??? most of the time the guests are white men despite there being other options that exist in the gaming space. even if they’re not as massive as the people you bring on, it would be nice to switch it up sometime. your platform on here & your own channel is too big to onlyyy further push up bigger creators. i know big names mean more views but maybe think about it in the same way you shed light on indie games. again, love the channel but would love to see more diversity!
