Eunice Johnson was a poised, educated, and creative woman. We could not celebrate Women's History Month without honoring the woman who changed the game in cosmetics for black women and women of color. These days make-up foundation comes in many shades, but when her models could not find make-up for their complexions, she proposed the idea to create their cosmetic line to her husband John H. Johnson, and the rest is history. She was an executive for Johnson Publishing and the producer and director of Ebony Fashion Fair.
