Ohhhh, George was the missing person. I'm not sure how but he got stuck in this "time loop," but if he was killed by springtrap on the ride the first time around, the rest of the video is him reliving his last moments. Like a purgatory state

There's something in the books about how Springtrap messes with people's minds and drives them crazy. Predator playing with their food kinda thing. Obviously, this is fanmade so your theory is also just as likely but 100% the code yellow was about George.

In short, George got into a time loop and the system noticed something missing on the ride. His cart. (which was now somewhere else, maybe an alternante ride? in a time loop)
Then he got hit by an empty cart, probably by the end of a shift, no one waiting in line anymore, so a cart went in empty. It hit him, error on the system and the ride stops again, an employee goes check it, corpse of missing person GEORGE in underneath it, and as George's corpse is discovered, his mind/soul relives the torture, distorted and now able to find his deepest fears, due to the fact that he's just a soul. forever tourturing his mind in the fact that no matter what path he takes, there is no alternate survival. In the end, he will die. continue to die. forever will die.
then again, it says georges body was never found. Was that a lie? or was his body unable to be identified?

I think you’re pretty much there. Small correction though, in the description it says that George’s body was never found.
My thought was that it was probably George's body that was found from the rumors. So all that time loops truly did make him go back in time of when the ride was new. My guess though.

as a former attractions operator, it was stressing me out the whole time how george was running on the ride track 💀 the ending happened and my reaction was “well what did he expect” LOL

The ride was moving so slow I wasn’t really expecting it..also it lacked the safety features such as stopping the ride if someone was on the tracks.
When he was pushing the car on the track I was like, “dude, if the break releases and it suddenly jolts backwards, you’re getting ran the F over!”
As terrifying as the entire sequence of Vanessa screaming to the giant head reveal in the dark was, nothing stresses me out more than George finally getting to the entrance and then SPRINTING *BACK* INTO THE RIDE LIKE YOU’RE TRYING TO ESCAPE
Well that’s cause Springtrap was at the only exist, what other choice did he really have?

Not sure if anyone remember but at 43:50 when he realizes it is a robot it is a reference back to nonexistent video when they say the animatronic suit and the fake eyes are to eliminate difference in appearance so we don't know if what we see from spring bonnie is a person or a robot until it is revealed.
Fun Fact: Yellow Bear was Golden Freddy's formal name (as seen in the FNaF 1 game files). People kept referring to him as Golden Freddy which caused Scott to change his name.

At my store, we call it Code Adam. It’s named after a child that went missing. We even have a Code Adam list where we assign people to specific exit locations to make sure no one leaves the building with the missing child. I’ve personally only had to initiate one Code Adam which was resolved fairly quickly. I personally prefer reverse Code Adams cause I have the child and we are just looking for the parent/guardian

I just want to say, even with Mat pausing the video a lot, I haven’t been this scared or uncomfortable watching a video like this in a while. I hated every moment of it, but loved it too. Very effective.
This is one of the first of the vhs tapes to legitimately get me to freak out, I’ve been scared, but I was literally shaking during the springtrap chase scene

honestly having a horror amusement ride which repeats itself but with like some of the animatronics missing after every round would be pretty horrifying
I’m graduating highschool soon. The intro made me cry uncontrollably.
I’m in online school, I’ve been working a full time job since I was 14 and I’ve never been able to go to a normal high school and have normal high school experiences outside of my job. I can’t believe it’s just over. I’m never going to get the chance to experience it ever again. Wow.

Craziest part is that his recorder time is resetting to the beginning when he first got on the ride each loop, And especially how it’s almost easy to infer that he’s the missing person on the ride (and the corpse mentioned at the beginning)
It would be awesome for a ride to do this. Be normal the first run, pretend to have a glitch and run you through again but everything is glitchy and darker, the props positioned more aggressively the second time.
Matpat wearing a bracelet that looks like it was made by Ollie makes me smile. He sure looks dapper!
That feeling of excitement for the new hosts is exactly what we all feel. Yes we’ll miss MatPat but I feel like those emotions have now turned into an eagerness of seeing what is in store for us now

Mat I highly recommend you Slay the Princess. It's a visual novel of the style of DDLC or Cooking Companions but the story has nothing to do with them. The art is done entirely by hand and every choice changes the story significantly! I think in length it's about the same as DDLC (unless you wanna explore all the options, then it's longer), it's fully voice acted, with great dialogue, full of horror scenes, but also genuinely funny interactions. And very good for theorizing on the go 👀✨

I think George was hallucinating. Because the big head that gives birth to springtrap? this is typical of a dream-like state, the logical center of the brain goes to sleep and suddenly the dimensions, logic, etc. all don't add up, just like in the case of this moment. In the case of the end, it is easier to deduce what is happening when George tries to escape and is about to run against the flow, springtrap starts screaming, they are actually people screaming for him to wake up from his madness (but George doesn't hear it because he is hallucinating) he runs against the flow (with security chasing him) where the next trolley kills him. That's why we see the police car at the end.
That would fit with everything we know about william From official fnaf In the books And the games
The man is Good at Causing hallucinations
I personally theorize that all the hallucinations and most of the games are due to ghostpowers.Or technology william being william probably has both which is why the hallucinations in the third game are Full on phantoms working against you
But that's just my own personal theory

It's been so long since something has made me clench my fists like I was ready for a fight because how scary it was. Battington is truly a legend.
36:30 Nathan Fielder does this in one of his Nathan For You sketches where he stages a fake haunted house and convinces the person in the attraction that he has received a very contagious disease from one of the actors, and they end up riding a fake ambulance and get sent to a fake hospital with fake doctors and in the end its revealed its all part of the “haunted house”. It’s a brilliant episode.
I spent a few years in Medina as a kid (I’m the same age as MatPat, went to the same school, I was too young to remember him but my parents remember him very well because our parents were friends and are always asking me how he’s doing since they know he’s a CZcamsr and that I subscribe lol), and hearing him wax poetical about that town makes me very happy and nostalgic.
Though that freaking open concept elementary school (there were no walls! Just dividers between classrooms!) was a nightmare for me, I was a very loud kid and got in trouble all the time 😂
Fun fact: My cousin and I actually went to the horror attraction in Vegas....And they actually did pretty well. They even had fazbear 'merch' at the 'prize counter' that marked the end of the whole thing. Probably my favorite haunted house that night. Even if I did get a little lost in one section.

Guys i feel like you sometimes need to realize that people when in a crisis sometimes literally stop moving and let the threat take them out without doing a thing about it. That's a very real thing. So please think about that before wanting to rip your hair out because you're upset at a protagonist in a piece of horror media because their actions aren't exactly logical and correct

i dont think anybody has noticed this yet but the first time the ride breaks down is the only time we hear the code yellow announcement, we get told from the start what happens at the end because HE IS that "missing" person.
At 34:33 in reaction, you can see the crying child in the cart behind him.
I had a much more intense version of that "leaving behind feeling" bc my elementary school closed at the same time I graduated from the sixth grade. I can still access the hollow, empty feeling it gave me. Which was extra weird bc it was still like 500 yards from my house but abandoned.

Honestly the witty banter on this episode was very cathartic to me personally. Hearing how much GTLive and the goofy banter means to Matt and Ash makes me feel more valid for GTLive meaning so much to me as well. Hearing them acknowledge that Matt will leave GTLive one day is very safe feeling knowing they're both kinda dreading that day as much as I'm dreading it. Love y'all at theorist

The "its cold In here" reminds me of the one H.P. Lovecraft story which details the account of a narrator helping his upstairs neighbor, who is a doctor, and in the end turns out to have been dead the whole time, but, one detail in the story was, that it had to be cold to preserve the body

No, it's not saying it's 1987, It's Fazbear Frights so its referencing the incidents of 1987 and the "known" scares of what happened in the decade for the ride.
I love how they did it in one video even though it was the longest fnaf vhs by battington.
I was very prepared for horror, I was not prepared to want to cry, the witty banter got more emotional than I expected
Watched this after watching his final style theory and that beginning had me emotional as all heck but in the best way. For the video itself, it seemed like the synergy between Matpat and Ash was top tier from start to end. And speaking of that, happy birthday to Ash!
Matpat leaving is really reminding me of the senior that everyone likes doing their last musical and they do their final speech and everyone is so sad, at least that’s how it feels to me :)

George was alone since the start of the ride, there was never a crowd of people waiting for their turn to hop on in the horror attraction and Jessica, Vanessa and Darek weren't actually there either, all of that were just hallucinations that Springtrap was making George see, torturing him before killing him. The horror attraction was abandoned as we can see at the end of the video with the cops and nobody else around, implying that George got inside thinking he was going to have fun with his friends when he was actually all by himself
No I think He went in with his friends but but when he got back out they had all left reported him missing and the cops arrived and shut down the building
@@plantainsame2049 yeah, that's another valid theory but still we know that Springtrap is capable of giving nightmares and hallucinations to his victims so it could go either way
when I heard "non-haunted house" I thought that people told you were going into a haunted house, but its just a normal house with no one but you and the person you came with. so you're just in suspense that someone would jump out at you the whole time.

I have a friend who works on theme park rides, and a "Code Yellow" for them usually means that someone has urinated on one of the ride cars, and the ride has to be shut down and sanitised. No idea if this uses the same terminology or not, but figured it was worth a mention.
I totally have those moments - graduation high school was one, though it was more returning my bassoon to the band room after our final concert. My final marching band show in college. When my grandparents died…

nathan fielder did a realistic haunted house exactly like you talked about here! down to the detail of a medical emergency! how it worked is people signed up to go to a haunted house when they had finished the haunted house they were quickly evacuated by men in hazmat suits and told that they had been exposed to a hazardous disease, they were then taken off in an ambulence and eventually when they got to the hospital they get out and theyre back at the haunted house, at which point nathan fielder explains that it was all part of the haunted house!
4:10 I have a lot of those moments of reflection.. possibly more than I should.
But I've said bye to my highschool and college theaters (especially the back stages). I've stepped back and pondered the significance of my various graduations. I got very sentimental when I moved out from home.
I do that kinda thing a lot. It's nice, if a little bittersweet, to stand there on the precipice of something's end, staring into the void of the unknown to come, and just.. taking a moment.
And I do tend to take a few photos or a short video in those moments as well. I just.. I want to capture that moment, that feeling.. and put it in a bottle and preserve it as best I can.
