In this game we explore an abandoned amusement park called Indigo Park, as the park mascot Rambley the Raccoon guides us through the dangers that lurk around every corner. @@CrobatmanIamthenight Will you got to understand that he talks about his friends and refers in a way the Mascots are something else. So maybe his friends like himself are some type of A.I.s but they are closed off somehow. Thinking if it like that there could be more than one corrupted Molly in this Park (the Loyd one didn't seem fully corrupted because of his reaction to the Cuff ringing probably making him come back to his senses). Though encountering a fully corrupted Loyd is still possible in future chapters.

I’m kinda curious at how the park shut down in the first place. Mainly because I don’t think it will involve 10 murders or the a bite of 2016
@@Jcoleot I don't know much about the lore of Indigo yet, but a part of me kinda hopes that it simply was just abandoned. No grand conspiracy reason as to why, just "hey this park is becoming a lost cause and we're making more money doing [blank], lets close it down."
That said, I very seriously doubt thats the route they'll take. I mean, the mascots are made of meat, this has deep conspiracy thing written all over it lmao

However there is a chance we do get a game where it could be different but I wouldn’t be surprised if the animatronics had some sort of human replace parts for some reason

@@dubioustheatreyt8096 That actually seems less like the reason, because of the fact that the copyright claim wasn't removed if the company renamed themselves to whatever they're good at now, probably meaning that the company was most likely abandoned too, before any legal matters could be done about the trademark, resources, etc.

the game ending with him just becoming a computer assistent for the protagonist would be beautiful.
One thing I noticed is that every time Rambly speaks in a mascot sort of tone, he's got anime mouth. The mouth and motion animation is very choppy and cheap. But when he talks to the protagonist personally, like when he's having a one-on-one, his animation is very fluent and smooth. Just a neat and small detail
Probably because that's the basic programming...and not whatever scifi or supernatural thing that's happened in the park that caused rambley to be so aware involved

The fact that the first sign of life you meet in game is basically an eerily sapient rouge AI is fantastic. My first thought was, "Oh no. This thing is way too aware. that's rarely a good sign in games like this..."
I mean, Freddy from security breach is also eerily sapient and he only ever wanted to help Gregory survive and escape the pizza plex. So it’s not always bad.
I'm more scared that Rambly is going to get deleted or something...that's what happens to characters you get easily attached to...

Rambly seems to be honest in his motivation. If he wanted the player dead, he could have just kept the door closed. He wants someone to repair the park. It is to be seen if repairing the park is a good or bad thing.
Its more the indication that this rouge AI is sapient, lonely, riddled with glitches, and emotionally invested in getting this park operational. He might mean well, but what what sacrifices will be required of us?
Did Poppy not ask us something so simple that ended up being much much deeper than we anticipated and also forcing us to stay for the supposed greater good?
AI Rambly is probably going to be the player's ally with no ulterior motives beyond saving the park, but I wonder if there's a 'Meet and Greet' version of Rambly they made that likely won't be friendly.

A comment from another video though mentioned that Molly (the animatronic in the backstage of the train ride)'s glitchy dialogue said something like "-Not friendly, he hurt lloyd, he hurt lloyd" so y'know, there's some tidbit of lore that sounds like something that's hinting towards something dark with Rambley :v

there are a couple things I noticed about the mascots:
1. for Lloyd he seems the furthest away from his cartoon counterpart, he's going on all fours, mane is not the same style, not even a part of his costume is on him, the only thing I notice making him different than a lion is the bright blue nose
2. for Molly I do notice that she seems to have more of her cartoonish traits, having hands, being bigger than a normal bird and at least having her aviator hat, though that's about it.
We're possibly looking at one of the following scenarios:
1. genetic creatures created in a lab to make realistic versions of the mascots
or
2. Humans turned into these realistic animal cartoons
Of course possibly going horribly wrong seeing that both Lloyd and Molly tried to attack us, while Lloyd was stunted and ran off, Molly was taken out.
Also I feel the arcade game is hinting what happened at the park maybe Salem or someone did something to the mascots making them more violent and aggressive.
I prefer option 1 compare to the obvious human experiment
I think the reason Lloyd seems different, runs on all fours, and doesnt have his costume is just cause of time. After being alone for 8 years he's likely lost his mind and gone feral slowly losing parts of his outfit over time.
Gotta admit, Rambley kind of grew on me...which probably will mean he will betray us inevitably and thrust us into numerous death traps. XD
If he wanted to kill the player, he could have just keep the door open. No doubt that he will lead the player into dangerous situations, but I think he is being honest about trying to repair the park. What happens after or because of that is a different question.
It does seem like that mascot had a person in it.

Granted, having seen a lot of these "mascot horror" games, I am still going to have doubts.
Uniquegeese actually confirmed in his stream that Rambly is good and on the players side. Any death traps we end up in are more by accident since he doesnt know the current condition of the whole park and some cams are probably down at this point

I like how UniqueGeese went from the meme game that is Banban to this. I love how we're getting hints that it's not Rambley with the A.I screen glitching I.E Rambleys Railroad. Rambley has abandonment issues, but with his cheery, upbeat, and caring personality. I doubt he would take it out on the protag. Him literally going 'Wait this is STAFF room only' only to contradict himself when he saw Mollie by yelling 'COME IN NEW STAFF.' There was also him warning them that he can see all around the park but the backstage of Lloyds theater is a blindspot for him. (I say A because I got a feeling there are gonna be more segments where Rambley can't see the protag.) Would make sense that this teased 'Salem' character would be the one behind the chaos plus after Banban I doubt UniqueGeese would make history repeat itself. I honestly don't blame Rambley for stringing the protag along for the rides (That are working), since he was just left there turned on. So his whole world just, fell apart. He just didn't know what happened to his friends. Lloyd became a recluse in his theater either due to the security restrictions on the door or his own will, and Mollie became a free roaming predatory bird. Chapter 2 probably will reveal what happened to Finley. Tho the blood and bones are questionable it probably will be answered. So to those who are questioning it, hold your horses it's just chapter 1. But I liked the 'cause I like trains' line during it. It was funny and a good throwback to ASFM 'I like trains' kid.
I wonder how Rambly and the others are alive, I'm excited for future chapter.
@@midnights2631 Rambley possibly backup generators from the park. Remember theme parks of that size typically have backups. As for the others, best guess would be someone who managed to break into areas without him noticing. Rambley can't see everything at once after all. Like I said, there's probably gonna be more blind spots in future chapters.
@@ThatNewZDudeRambley says that he was confined to the park entrance for so long (likely ever since the place closed down). So up until the player came, he had no idea what was going on inside.
@@thelonemask Right, would make sense about his panic when Mollie was chasing the player. Being confined there means he didn't have his eyes all over the park. Still I mean he did in a sense watch his world fall apart and people just leave him there to rot in a sense. (Idk how A.I's would rot).
The funny part when he mention he has eyes allover the park one of the security cameras follow you near the entrance. Meaning he's watching you and probably someone else or something

In the music video for the final song, you can see Rambly views thing differently, either him repressing his own memories or a part of his ai stopping him from seeing anything “negative”
"Give this mistake to a child and they'll cry" Holy feck Rambley. XD It's fairly obvious that the game is still rough in some areas, but it was a good experience overall! And the little song kinda took me by surprise.
i'd agree on the rough part, but ill cut uniquegeese some slack because they are amateur game devs. the game has massive potential and chapter 2 can be a massive improvment over chapter 1!

The last collectable was during Molly's chase scene, it looked like a helmet of some sort. Also YES please play more of this when the other chapters come out!
Also the fact that Rambley was technically the one to decapitate Molly is kind of sad ngl

It's the nonchalant delivery and the diversion to a build up that he might say cause it's themed after him that really delivers the punch line

it seems like the characters are living suits. Something about them is really strange, cause it seems like the arcade game might hint at that the character of "Salem" might have something to do with corrupting the suits to become hostile. Like Rambly is an Ai too, but i do wonder if Salem kinda did the same thing with causeing havoc or went rogue in some way. But it does also seem like that the suits are not permitted to harm wears of the bracelets or something like that
Maybe it'd be like an Abandoned by Disney situation, especially considering the parallels Indigo Park has with Disney/Disney World and Land. For those who know...
It’s a little weird that Rambley glitched out only in Salem’s section for the train.
I dunno if I'm just hearing things here, but it sounded like Mollie's glitched out animatronic in the backroom of Rambley's Railroad was saying "**Something something**, Not Rambley, he hurt Lloyd, he hurt Lloyd, he hurt-", then she shuts down. I replayed it a couple of times to make sure, but let me know if anyone else is hearing that too. Side note: the credits song is 10/10 :)

Funny thing, i feel like the character of Mollie mccaw took inspiration (at least name-wise) from the Disney character Molly Mcgee. For those who don't know, Molly Mcgee first appeared and co-stard as one of the two titular protagonists of the 2021 Disney cartoon "the ghost and Molly Mcgee". The show starred molly herself and a ghost named scratch which she one sidedly befriended after moving into a new home (which was really his home of sorts) with her family, consisting of her father pete Mcgee, her mother Shannon Mcgee and her younger brother Darryl Mcgee. Molly was known in the show to be very cheerful and happy go lucky and had a golden heart and a desire to help others and, as she says it, "enhappify" the world (in a way she was what Chloe Carmichael from the fairly oddparents tried to be) and was not afraid of scratch's ghostly status. Even when he attempted to curse her to be stuck to her, he realized it was actually him who was cursed. However as the series progressed, scratch and molly's bond grew stronger.
That was an overly long tangent, you know.

This is so good! The humor, the fake outs, the well use of mascot horror conventions, mike sounding genuinely upset like a kid when the ride he wanted to go on was shut down.
Rambley is super cute! He's well-animated and sports the cutest mannerisms. I think he's the first horror mascot I can see actually being popular in-universe.

Maybe its by bias about gaming in general, but i have a suspicion that rambly is going to end up either dying to save the park, or betraying the player so he can be destroyed.
Now i HOPE that's not the case, but having a friendly ai that attacks you in the end is security breech all over again
I'm only 10 min in and I will die for Rambley. They did such a great job on the designs for this game
The raccoon model looks adorable and really, and the atmosphere and design is YES.

This is easily the best mascot horror game I’ve ever seen. All of the textures are so well made compared to most mascot horrors (mostly looking at you Garten of Banban) but the main best thing of this game is how much personality is put into Rambley. His VA did a perfect job and better with his lines and all of the animations on Rambley were done so well (especially the train ride he’s so cute I’m dying 😭)

Thanks for getting the video on Indigo Park out so quick. I was playing Cookie Run and was sucking so hard at the trophy races I was genuinely getting pissed. This is a much better way to cool down than drawing a character dying horribly.

I was already super excited for this game, but now I'm seriously sad I'm stuck working all day today and most of tomorrow. I hope (and think) this really blows up. UniqueGeese and crew definitely deserve it.
I have to give the devs their due this feels far more polished than Security Breach was right out of the gate (and maybe still currently). I really hope this carves its own niche in the mascot genre because of its personality.
Unique Geese lived up to at least half his name and made something really unique and cool. If he works a bit harder, I’m sure he’ll live up to the other half of his name.
i feel so emotionally connected to this game somehow, like i love rambley and the other characters and the rides. it’s the best mascot horror ive ever seen. like this tops even poppy playtime and security breach for me. and those are big shoes to fill! uniquegeese has an excellent future and i can’t wait for chapter two!

It looks like they spent more time with the AI raccoon interactive then they did with the game. Like the was their main gimmick. Kinda ruins a little bit of the game. But as this is early access they will probably polish it up more. I wager this was a means to get investors wanting more by focusing on that, once it has been grabbed they will make massive improvements

i had a dream a month or more. i still remember the dream. and it's description is almost identical to this game. the Molly's jetstream junction when you first entered. i still remember it. didn't expect it to be a game.
I do enjoy how UniqueGeese made a springboard from Reignited into Indigo Park and it can really tell when you notice the aspects from Reignited brought over like how Mollie's animations are those from his redo of OphillaBird. Its good to see the game be a success and can't wait to see more.

Anyone else feel like Rambley shouldn’t be trusted? I mean, he was acting so nonchalant about his best friend at the end, and his slight attitude about the royal room- What if he’s hiding something? If he would want us to repair everything, shouldn’t we have access to the highest rank? And what’s up with him glitching into a different silhouette? It looks, skunk-like. Why did the bracelet only work on Lloyd and not Molly?
i usually get this feeling. but for the first time i genuinely trust rambley. i kind of hope it stays this way too, i don’t want to experience another game with ‘plot twist friendly guy is actually bad!!!’ i hope rambley is just a silly dude who wants to repair the park
