Hey!! Im over here in the EO! Just did the same lift! Have a 3 inch body kit too...running 315/70/17's love that yall are so close and are sharing the expy love. :) good job guys. Now I want to convert to diesel!
thanks for watching
Love the Cummins Swap. Thanks for using our kit! Let us know if you need anything else.
Thank you. We're going to be using another one of your lift kits here in the future for the 4BT F-150 that we have. We love the lift so far and the installation and adjustment were very easy.
My expedition has air suspension does it work as well ¿?
Hiiiiiuuu
What upgrade shock would you add to this lift
Nice, I'm eager to see how your project came out. I've got an 02 Expedition XLT AWD/4x4 that came with 17x7.5 wheels stock. I've currently got BFG All Terrain T/A kO2, LT265 70R17s on it, with no lift yet. Would like to go to a little wider/taller size next time around.
Saw can of keystone light hits like button
Dude is funny, knows what he's doing...bklyn NY shout out...
I have a 98 Ford Expo. 5.4 4WD and I wanted to know if you had to do a Diff drop on your front Diff? Or did you go with new axles?
Bro why cant i put my track bar back on, it doesmt reach by a small amount, also i got the same spacers like you but pnly one spring went fully into the seat when i dropped the truck, they are seated properly. What should i fo
Will this affect other suspension components like upper control arm
Ball joints etc?
I have the same kit but im questioning on installing it without having to modify anything else
Thank you in advance
That thing made me nervous when you had it lifted with jack only while you were talking 😲
Please tell me which shocks you chose. I did the same lift on my 1998 expo and I noticed the same thing, that I'm fully extended. This was my first time putting on a lift and it was a nightmare to do the keys on mine because they were frozen in with corrosion. We had to cut one of them off. I also went with some nice black wheels and some mud terrain tires. It looks slick. But the 5.4 Triton motor has got to go. I have nothing but probblems with the ignition system. Even after changing plugs and cool packs on the affected cylinders. Plus the extra height In Tires has made my gearing a bit more off and I have to run it in overdrive off mode to get moving reliably. This Triton is a mess.
I will do a video on this soon would love to see a picture how yours turned out you should send in your ride for a Saturday night update episode
It's going to ride Rough in the front And it may prematurely wear out your CV joints just a heads up
Does it same as 2001 Lincoln Navigator?
Hi there I have an expedition 1998 and I am replacing ball joints and control arms I need to know what size Jack stand should I use? I new at diy. Need all the info I can get
How did you do the driver side? Do you have to drop the tank?
Evil shenanigans ! stock shocks still in the range I believe because .... the stock! Stock! Keys max out the control arms ! The stock ones do ! So it’s cool video though ! 👍
Can I used this in my 99 Ford Expedition 2wd 5.4
Mi expedition have air suspension will those tools work ? Or how can I lift it ¿?
I have a 98 Expedition that has a 5.4 triton. I’m wanting to convert it to diesel what should I put in it that would work best and sound as loud and badass?
How would you get it smogged with an engine swap
Used to live in Klamath falls chiloquin Sprague River Lakeview bly Eugene and Salem love the dry part of Oregon or as Grandpa used to call it the high desert I don't care much for the coastal side
I felt that here in fla.
Keith Hamilton you’re talking about me wacking my head off the concrete? Definitely rattled my cage for a minute.
I remember seeing this for sale a while ago!! Haha
What company did you buy from? Been trying to find one for my 99
I just emailed you, I'm interested in doing the same to my expedition. I'm located in Redmond, was wondering how this lift worked out for you since installed?
What shocks did u install
Cant wait to see the KO2's under that beast. Gonna need more than the ol test hill to show it off though...
Might have camber might eat your ball joints 😂 but people still lift their trucks to look beast! 🤙 gonna look way better then stock
What’s your exhaust set up
Definitely a 4 if your torsion bars aren't rust welded to the keys I'm literally waiting on a demolition hammer to try push the torsion bars out
Haha right when you talked about air tools I was thinking to myself why don't you have air tools for this???
Nice work! Wish mine weren't welded in with rust! FML!
I have ford Expedition 2002 2wd and I want to lift 2.5" in the front I need exchange the shocks or not ?
Not sure ive never seen a 2wd before but i lifted this truck 3 inches and im still running the stock shocks.
Central Oregon Shenanigans Hey does a 2wd uses Torsion bars
I think so
Central Oregon Shenanigans I went and looked and I need the truck but I don’t see no torsion bars or torsion keys any idea what you’re up to go maybe spindles?
How is it holding up
I went to the link you put in description, it says its a 3 and 2 inch lift. I want a 3 inch rear puck. Was hoping you measured them?1
There’s another option for a 3 inch rear lift. Only downside is it’s a little bit more expensive.
@@seancavanaugh7037 well I found a 3 inch lift for a 2wd. Bigger spindles and 3 inch lift spacers. Says it only fits a 2wd but thats only bc of spindles im sure. Its $280. And then I want 3 inch keys for it. But if you know an actual kit let me know.
What shocks did you install after lift?
Rusty Pugh ya I would like to know what shocks biltens?
Im sure the rear isnt 3 inches i think its 2 because i cant find the 3 inch rear
Only front
Do you have after pics with the new wheels and tires?
Yes we did another video on that.
czcams.com/video/d-NTlXeNyMk/video.html
Perfect! Bout to do the same on mine. What did you do for shocks?
We haven’t done shocks yet we are going to here real soon. If you have watched out latest edited video we removed the trans mission and have it in the shop to be worked on.
You did the keys with the tires on? Everyone says to do it with them off
I Jacked up the front and put Jack stands under the truck
Central Oregon Shenanigans what about doing the key holder and bolts? People say do them or loosen the bolts on both sides first before unloading ? I don’t think that would matter ?
what are you getting mpg?
Im getting 15 to 17 in town and 20 to 25 highway.
12:05 who hasnt been there smh
Hey it’s Kyle and that has happened more than once to me.
Dude you going to ruin the whole suspension, i had a 01 exp i lifted with torsion keys and everything start worn out also steering tie rods everything i recomend 100% a good lift kit
Yup, worst way to lift it, especially that much. Throws off the entire suspension geometry and you lose major full suspension extension from that ride height. Spend a bit more time and money and do a proper lift.
Its gonna eat ball joints & cv axles, the front end geometry has been maxed out essentially
Why the f*ck would you put a Cummins in that pile of crap?
I get what you guys are doing, I understand what you guys are doing, But you are seriously missing the point at trying to offer the viewers simple ~A to B~ How-To (and or ~how-you-choose-to-do-it~) videos. You are skipping way to many steps in your videos. I know there is a scientifically proven specific time line that has been proven to maintain you viewing audience's attention span, and keep them entertained, but you are skipping way to much great video footage that would keep us entertained longer even if we had to watch a longer video.
Can I put a 99 F150 lift on a 99 expedition tryin to lift it 6in?
I don’t think so. Pretty sure the f150 is leaf sprung in the rear and the expedition is coil. Is have to double check with James but that’s what I remember.
Alright appreciate it bro
@@CentralOregonShenanigans what about the front ? 2wd
