You couldn't get to the two top bolts with a bunch of extensions? I pulled the trans on my 01 Expedition 4.6 and I was able to get to the top bolts with about 3 feet of extensions.
Central Oregon Shenanigans yes. Same size engine. I’m not sure the reasoning but this is a bear to get back in. I tried jacking trans up at an angle to help
There is a reason people typically remove the front end and radiator support for this but I certainly applaud you guys for pulling it off without going through that bunch of bs
Come on the engine was seized to the point where a 3 foot breaker bar was not able to turn the engine over how are you supposed to get the torque converter off at this point
The guy that seems to be the one most likely to know what he is doing in the blue shirt and glasses looks like a the guy I had a project with in ag class back in high school...can't remember his name but he was a pretty solid dude...if that ain't him this guys a clone.

The engine back in. I’m having a hell of a time to get the motor mounts in their spots while getting trans lined up.

its easier to drop the truck on the engine (aka put it in through the bottom) than it is to try and lower it in from the top
Would a 2006 Crown vic motor fit in a 2000 expedition do the motor mounts line up and can I use the tranny from the crown vic in the expedition?

Where did you mount the chain to on the engine ? Gonna pull the same engine.
