This cream of mushroom baked pork chops recipe is tender and juicy smothered in a creamy sauce and very delicious. Serve it over rice or mashed potatoes.
Thank you for sharing this pork chop 🥩 recipe. It reminds me of the smothered pork chops that my mom used to make but she did hers on the stovetop. She passed away 2 years ago October 24th and I miss her so much. I lived my whole life with her and it's so hard now that she is not here, but seeing recipes that remind me of her does touch my heart. I also just subscribed to your channel.
I have been looking for a channel like this for ages. This is the food I grew up on and love it. Thank you for posting these delicious , easy, home cooking recipes.
Yes I love it and I will try I love Porkchops and I love making rice I never had together but with this cream of mushroom it looks good “yummy” I could hear that it was tasty lol.

I was craving this recipe but couldn't remember how it was put together. I KNEW it would be a good day when I found your channel and heard that southern accent ❤️ Thank you for sharing this recipe!
Very similar to what my mama used to make, bless your heart. The only thing she did different was add mushrooms with the onions and the spices were a bit different and she added a bag of frozen peas towards the end so we would eat our veggies, always served with white rice though. Of course I'm subscribing.
I'm making this for dinner tonight! I would love you to cook for me any day; I love the fact that you take time in washing the porkchops so well. I am one who does that, too. Some cooks barely clean the meat they use before adding to recipes.
That looks delicious! It reminds me of my mom's smothered pork chops. I am making baked pork chops for dinner and I had two cans of cream of mushroom soup and was wondering about putting them on the pork chops. I love it!
Hello I am going to fix these porkchops this afternoon with cream of celery soup also. I have 5 chops, so do I one or two cans of celery soup. My sidings will be mash potatoes and spinach or greens how long should I cook them for and what temp.
o.k. I will, but cook temperature 375 degrees, and the time depends on your oven temperature, just make sure the gravy have thicken up, and then it should be ready.
I love your patience while giving your instructions and i love the love of cooking while you are talking at a very moderate pace. I have all my ingredients out to start this afternoon. I have 5 porkchops out with 2 cans of celery soup, is that too much soup and what temp and how long do i baked them in the oven. This is my first time on your page and i SUBSCRIBED to you and. THANKS FOR SHARING.
I am sorry I didn't see your comment sooner. One can is enough, and bake 375 in the oven, about two hours or until the gravy thickens and the pork chops are tender.
Great recipe and thank you for sharing some good ole Southern recipes! Making it tonight! I wish you would use soap and wash your hands before touching anything after handling meat, especially pork and chicken. So much cross contamination going on there and wouldn't want anyone to get sick. Not a matter of "if", only a matter of "when" it will happen.
Enjoy your videos, first like to just mention couple things. You never mention the temperature or how long you bake the pork chops. Only other is the adjustments on the food . Keep the good food coming.

I'm about to make cream of mushroom pork chops but may I add we don't cook in any ALUMINUM POTS OR PANS IT CAN LEACH INTO FOOD AND ALUMINUM HAS BEEN FOUND IN THE BRAINS OF PERSONS WITH ALZHEIMER'S. this is a high salt meal and accent season has been banned in some Chinese restaurants. It causes headaches n dry mouth sorry this is my experience and in no way am I attacking you personally. I don't know you. Perfect Peace
You are incorrect which shows that a little knowledge is dangerous! nobody ever said from a study on cookware not to use aluminum pans! if you are going to cook something that is tomato based and you plan to leave it in the aluminum for a month you might and that's a very big might get some aluminum leaching. I am a scientist and I follow double-blind peer reviewed published studies that have been done over lengths of time. In fact I just ordered 50 aluminum pans. I would like you to cite your sources and studies for your proclamation! And Georgia cooking for the soul don't you dare stop cooking in aluminum disposable pans! There is nothing wrong and the person who said this has no right to say it because it is medical advice given by somebody who should not be giving medical advice and is not a medical professional. Even I won't give medical advice to anybody online but I will talk about aluminum pans. Dr Elizabeth MD PhD PhD
Just as a by the way lasagna made in an aluminum pan with red sauce after 3 months in the pan showed no aluminum leaching and if frozen there is definitely no leaching. Who keeps lasagna unfrozen in a pan for three months? I can't wait to receive my 50 aluminum pans so that I don't have big dishes to wash!

How long did u cook it for at what temp
375 degrees and about 2 1/2 hours.
Ummm ummm 😋
Thank You so much!
Hello. Thanks for sharing. What is the thickner?
You're welcome! Thank you for watching. The cream of mushroom soup thickened it for me, but if you'd like, you can use flour and water.
Thanks!
What can use to thicken pork chops in mushroom soup baked in oven
Use one heaping tablespoons of self rising flour or cornstarch.
How long u cooked it
Bake 375 degrees for two hours.
What you set the oven on
oven 375.
What temp oven bake how long.
375 degrees and until done, which is fork tender and gravy is thick.
Haha that's what I was wondering myself.
How long did you cook them?
I will say until the meat is tender and the broth thickens. That’s how you know it’s done can’t estimate a time.
What type oof thickerner did u add & how long did u let it bake
The thickener were flour and water. One tablespoon of flour and just enough water to mix together and bake until gravy thickens.
Thank u I will following you from now on for different recipes for the soul😂😂😂
Oh what degrees did u bake it on
Bake 375 degrees
What’s the cool time and temperature
375 degrees oven, about two hours depends on your oven.
You are very pretty and I love your Snoopy❤️
Can I use cream of chicken??
yes; you can use any cream soups.
Temp cook and how long?
cook 375 until pork chops tenders can stick a fork in it. About 2 hours. and gravy thickens.
How did you get the mushroom soft?
I used canned cream of mushroom soup.
@@georgiacookingforthesoul ok
She & I cook alot alike. Only difference is, I don't like cooking everyday.
Okay; I understand that.
Be nice if you had said what temperature to set the oven at and for how long. Details matter!!!
I thought I mentioned it, but bake at 375 for 1 1/2 hours. Cook time varies with different ovens. Thank you!
I use milk with the mushroom soup. Makes it creamier
Me too!!
And works as a thickener for the sauce so you wont have to add anything else to it. How long and how hot do yall cook yours?
@@Megawatts-pz2rm I bake mine at 350 for 45 minutes to an hour and I cover them. When they start to fall apart, they are done.

U never said what temp to bake it on and how long!
375 degrees, for 2 1/2 hours.
How mini cans I got eight pork chops breakfast chops
Don't add anything else, let it cook about 45 minutes to one hour, because you have small chops and enjoy.
What’s the temp and hour long
oven at 375 degrees, about 1 1/2 hours.
I already put two cans and some water but it don't look like it's enough water and stuff
Do not add any more water. The pork chops will make it own juice.
Can't see the picture
what picture are you trying to see? At this point it's too late.
Enjoy your videos, first like to just mention couple things.
You never mention the temperature or how long you bake the pork chops.

I bake my meats at 400 degrees until tender and broth cooked down and have a delicious taste.
Meats Cook good at 375 to 400 degrees in the oven.
Why wash off the pork that is going to be sterilized in the oven? Are you going to wash the cut onion?
David, I wash all my meat, regardless of where it will be cooked. If I feel the onion needs rinsing I will do so before its cut.
Teach your cousin to do all this.
Looks delicious and I love you back
Thank you so much
