Your videos should be a part of every Versys owners tool box. Thanks Andy.
Hi Andy! I would suggest to place a washer inside the side stand gap (where it mounts) - over the metal tube. This shall make the side stand mount tighter and decrease the movement of the side stand so it doesn't feel that loose up and down.
Hello Andy! Could you please make a video on how to dile-in the electronic suspension for a very soft and plush ride? I don't get it which settings to use for the Tension and Compression. Thanks!
Excellent content as always. Your work gives me confidence that I'll be able to keep my 2020 Versys 1000 on the road for a long time.
Good video Andy, my stand is the same as yours so I'll do the same as you've done. Another thing I noticed on my 2019 versys is a little movement in the top mount of the rear shock. I noticed it when I torqued the rear wheel spindle nut. Next time you put your bike on the main stand, from the side put your foot under the rear wheel then try and lift the wheel just by using your toes, I've tried this in the dealers with other versys and they all seam to do the same, some more than others. The only way I could stop any movement was to torque the top shock bolt 10 ft lbs more than the recommended amount. Once I tried the extra torque I returned it to kawasaki's figure and the movement returned, I've left it at the recommended figure. I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed this.
Super Andy good work
Good stuff thank you
I have the same issue on my Versys. Thanks.
Andy genio! Como funciona el punto muerto positivo. En mi Versys 1000 no funciona.
Do you have a video explaining how to set up the suspension properly? Thanks for the channel.
unfortunately I don't have video like that yet.
Bonjour
Bien joué 👍
Hello , i have the same extension SW , no problem since i had it 4 years ago ... Maybe your side stand spring already had a problem ...
Elegancko Jędrek, sezon moto już rozpocząłeś ? 😀
Sezon od 1 marca panie, na razie leje i wieje
O rany jaki nowy image masz😘Fajny 😘
już nie mam
👍👍👍
Did you try to shorten the spring or put another spring over it to make it stronger?
Some sidestand springs are like double springs.
It is double spring, and I did try this quck fix first and is still working, so there is no reason to look for another spring, at least for now.
@@MotoAndy yes! Looks like it works fine now.👍
Sometimes, the solution can be that easy 😅👍 Have the same SW Motech extension, fortunately not the problem… Other issues, like spungy front brake lever… 😏
If you have spungy brake lever I would say you need brake fluid change
@@MotoAndyNew brake fluid once done by dealer, and three times deaerated the brakes, but after three weeks, spungy brake lever again. There’s no leakage, everything dry and reservoir is still full. Found on forum that master cylinder could be the problem… Well, that’s what we gonna try then 🤓
I have a slightly different problem on my Kawasaki Versys. Due to winter operation, the central stand has partially rotted 😅
😅
I had this same corrosion problem on my 2018 on the front of the horizontal cross bar of the centre stand. Every year / service I just gave it a quick rub with a flexible sanding pad and applied a couple of coats of Hammerite matt black paint by dabbing with a sponge. It kept the problem at bay and hardly takes any time 👍
Movement side stand is correct because angle is changing when you stand up from moto
Yes, that`s right, it still have a lot of movement, and keeps tension of the spring much beter.
