Love that you didn't care about the prizes in game 2. You just wanted to clear the board, didn't matter how many pokemon you had to run through. XD

Hi Andrew, nice to see. When you play with your full potential with base Zapdos. Certainly, it's one of the strongest base decks if you gonna exclude the fossil set. Mr. Mine would be a problem or a Clefable. That's sucks really hard....❤❤❤
You can play 2-3 Electabuzz in Buzzapdoss as a counter to Mr Mime. Clefable is a definetly still good against zapdos, but at it needs set up wich you can definitely 1 hit KO

I assume base mr mime is almost a straight cancel to zapdos
Yea. Many Zapdos deck’s play Doduo as well to have a free retreater and something that can hit Mime.
There's always a way to play around mime. Though it can be a major pain in the but to do so. Electabuzz would be the counter I would go for with buzzados due to it's chance paralysis to stall out their meditates while still doing damage if necessary, but 'zam is your main target for 1hkos

Base set zapdos so bad
tyranttz kk its actually not. 90 HP for a basic is massive for those days. Then each attack can knock out the big name format cards. The only downsides are that it damages itself and it has a high retreat cost, which are easy to deal with when you add in the broken trainers from that format.
