This deck absolutely needs Lass! You need to protect those Electrodes. It's crucial once you blow up your electrodes (which, by the way, give extra prize cards to your opponent) to then use Lass before attacking with Zapdos and get rid of all of their trainers (energy removals and things that can fetch energy removals) they may have in hand. And make sure to not mess up the order: first blow up your Electrode, then use Lass. ;)
Yep exactly. I don't think this deck needs to run energy removals at all since you will be mostly just 1 hit KO your opponent's pokemon and you do have gust of wind to interrupt bench setup. Should replace the 4 removals with 4 Lass.
Btw what's the difference if you lass first and then buzzap? As long as you do it on the same turn ofc. Edit: oh because they take a prize ofc.. Took me a while LOL
I love playing the Buzzapdos deck. Mainly because of the fast pace. Can you do a 2nd option Electrode deck utilizing Buzzap? I've tried it with Arcanine, but was curious what Base-fossil alternative to using Electrode could be.
Charizard is the only other one that comes to mind, but Arcanine is just a better fire deck. Wildfire Moltres maybe, since prize count doesn't matter for a mill deck?

Could be worth considering running electabuzz to counter mr mime or possibly have a way to stall if you don’t have zapdos or a way to accelerate energy to it. Also lass I would def run to help stop energy removal cards

I'm building a Base-Fossil deck gauntlet. What would you add to this deck if you had acces to jungle and fossil set?
Pringlesman Maybe Scyther to help stall, absorb damage, and move pokemon around easier. Ditto could also be a handy utility card.
