- Have you ever thought that some of the adult townies could be parents of certain teen/kid townies? I'm making a whole town based on that idea.
Unfortunately, as all my creations, this will only be compatible with the Ultimate Collection (or just all DLCs).

I love this! Though I low key wish Ivy Copur (the adult) would’ve had Ivy Copur (the teen) as a daughter, that way they could be Ivy Copur I and Ivy Copur II - like a family name that could continue with each generation 😂
Goopy Gilscarbo and Sandy Bruty belong to each other in my megahood and I cannot unsee it :p they're both romance sims, married to each other, with a positive marriage memory and three bolts :D (I mean they're still messing around town, but together, Goopy gives some 70s country swinger vibes idk)
Anyway, this is a cool idea. I would love to see what you would come up with these folks :D
Sandy has a big lesbian energy to me, so she belongs to her gf Jan Tellerman in my games 😂

22:34 Parts of the Appalachian mountain range in US have a very similar look and feel to the hills of Scotland/Ireland. If you'd like a specific US setting for Townieville, I'd suggest a valley near the Blue Ridge mountains in a state like North Carolina or Virginia.

I've wanted to do this very same thing! I had this idea of the Pleasantview townies getting sick of all the drama and having a mass exodus out of town. Can't wait to see what you do with Townieville!

I absolutely love this idea! Your take on townies is so refreshing.
I also loved PleasantSims' townie stories and I felt it was too bad whenever those series stopped. It had really inspired me to completely change my playing style, to this day. I absolutely adore it when townies get married amongst each other and have kids and all that.
p.s. I can't wait to download this, especially the new 'townies' you created to support the stories, they look so interesting!
I almost always create families with townies whenever I run out of people who aren’t related so to see this is so cool!
Now you will have to make a new neighbourhood for the townies in the townieville as well, and then keep the cycle going 😆

This is soooooo cool. I still love the Sims 2, the main characters, but also the townies. It's true that some are as well known as the Goths (at least they are to me). Seeing this... AWESOME!

8:27 if you wanted to add memories to the parent of having the townie kids (either by adoption or biologically) in the future, you could use the "[UPDATED] Tattered Diary (Custom Memories)" on MTS
Thanks! I was thinking of just using SimPE (or Memory Manipulator if it has that option), but this might be helpful.

Marticore, I did something similar, but I gave everyone of this townies their own Family tree and set of Memories. I only leave out the children townies, which I do It pretty soon.

I never realised that Brandon and Tosha have the same face template. That explains why Tosha's son in my current game has the same weird nose as Brandon.
when you finish this neighborhood, you HAVE TO make a video showcasing it with a link to download it. i can't wait to play this neighborhood!

I want to do something similar! except instead of matching genetics I'm matching family names. most premades don't look like their parents either so I figured it'd be fine, doesn't bother me. and using both townies and npcs across all the hoods. it's a big project. technically started it about four or five years ago. really want to get back to it, I just don't have the energy

They're still the original townies, so I'm pretty sure their names will change automatically :O

Omg!!! I love this idea!! I adore playing with the townies and I'm always introducing everyone in the families, I'm current playing an uberhood with all the townies (I hope my game handle it till I reach Belladonna Cove 🤣)and even like that I'm marrying the townies in, because I'm crazy like that. Sometimes I'm tempted to merge the townies that have the same last name in one family, like the tourist families, but I'm not sure about that rn, maybe if someone falls in love with one of the tourist teens, I will bring the their entire tourist family together. I love to add the houses from the bin too, because some are such a disaster, I guess I just like my game maxis ugly, since I almost don't use cc and furnish and build maxiswise (half laziness half lack of skills).

I have a hood like this with the townies, too! I have the garden club sims and some others living there with them just because Toby Bruenig and Marsha Bruenig have the last surname and I figured therefore she should be his daughter. Same with Ivy Copur and teen Ivy Copur. Jan and Komei Tellerman and Peter and Amin Sims got to be siblings. The rest of the kids and teens I put on a boarding school lot with one of the headmasters and one of the nannies. Matching the sims by face template is such a good idea. I had the adults all meet and matched them up by chemistry.

How to do active Townies? I would like to have a townies family on my game :)
PleasantSims has a tutorial. Basically you just create one Sim and use a cheat/mod (like the tree from InSimenator) to add townies to household.

As someone who only ever found the default townies annoying, I think it's really charming that some players are this fond of them 😄
I gave Goopi his Sims 3 family, including his parents, ex-wife and daughter. He later got in a open relationship with Sandy Bruty and end up having a child.
