How you don’t have a 100k subscribers is beyond me. Seriously, your content is phenomenal. For example, your “What I do on a Rainy Day” content is far and above the best out of all the van-lifers I follow. And your van is so unique and reflective of your personality and interests, not at all generic. So many vans have a very similar look and build to them. Lastly, I can’t think of anyone with a channel who has been living the nomadic lifestyle as long as you!

Absolutely!! We both gotta go out to use the ‘bathroom’ and he’s welcome to stay out as long as he wants but isn’t a fan of the rain any more so he tends to do his business and ask to go right back him.

As I watch this video, my 13-year-old cat Marjorie Stewart-Baxter is asleep on my desk chair behind me. We are still sharing a chair even though my butt hurts from sitting on the edge because she takes up most of it. Why? Because I know she won't always sleep behind me on this chair forever and she is my queen. You snuggle Frank as much as possible. It's a win-win situation for both parties, and those don't come up every day. As much as he loves the smells of the outdoors, I'm sure he cherishes the snuggles on the cozy days as well. Cozy inside days are so beneficial. We all need time to just do little things that make us feel good. I use to not like days like this but have found that they are much needed. There is something so satisfying with each piece of puzzle coming together, part of it for me brings great memories of my mom, we used to do so many puzzles together.
I have to say I so enjoy and appreciate what I call Time with Amanda and Frank, when I get the notification of your upload I free myself make a tea and watch your video. You bring a calm in my day, inspiration that I can do many beautiful things and be okay and free to be me 🤗

I love doing puzzles, when my children were home my youngest son you to get get a kick from hidding one or two pieces of my puzzle on me to make me hunt for it, then when I wasn't looking he'd sneak it into place just to get my goat. The joys of parenthood memories. 😊

When I had a tear in my meniscus, I had the same symptoms as you are having. The ragged meniscus tissue floats around but, sometimes it gets pinched in the bone and it is searing pain. Some surgeons recommend trimming it surgically and others say to leave it. Good luck with your healing journey. I had a partial meniscectomy and that helped for another 4 years. ❤ to you and Frank. We need a video of just Frank breathing deeply to help get ourselves to sleep. ❤️

The last puzzle I did when I was a camp host at Big Sur. I had it spread out on the picnic table and covered it with a giant silpat (aka rollpat) whenever I had to set the table for dinner. And it was a bummer when my last puzzle piece was missing also, never to be found. I enjoy all of your videos! I appreciate that you say you have to make your vanlife work. So many youtubers try to put themselves above others, saying well I chose this as my lifestyle not forced into this lifestyle. Well, that doesn’t make them any better or more worthy of adventures and joy. And it doesn’t make them as interesting as you and the life you have made for yourself and Frankie. I hope 2024 brings you much happiness and many adventures.

Thank you for reminding me to rest. I realised I’ve become very tired and possibly anemic so the next few days I will stop moving (except for little walks with Elmo) and boosting my iron levels. I’m also finding keeping my van at a comfortable regular temperature. As soon as I put the fan on to keep on top of condensation I get cold. So I boost the diesel heater which quickly becomes too stifling. So I open a window aaaand then I’m cold again. 😂
Yesss it's good to slow down every now and then!! I am in Class C on VI---I find eonetimes chores get me down at this time of year as to where I can fill my jugs with water--sani dump--taking showers---bottle depos--and cleaning moisture away!!! I find a lot of inspiration from your videos!! Take care and rock on!!❤❤❤

Today is the first time I use a magnifying glass to watch your video. I could not believe how different your van looked, I thought it was all bed but you actually have a beautiful countertop and pull-out table,a dresser area and food area. Even Frank surprised me, his spots show up so much better. Perhaps my vision is a lot worse than I realized it was. Your van looks really cozy. Happy New Years Amanda.
