Great job on explaining the ABC’s of building, tending and caring for a campfire! As a former cam host you wouldn’t believe how many people are totally clueless about building a fire! I also love your beach walks and seeing the sea creatures! Camped along the California coast and loved seeing the sea creatures, star fish and elephant seals!

You must have to watch that Frank doesn't sneak any sticks into the van or you'll end up with a mulch bed to sleep in. 😅 I find pine cones make a good fire starter, they can even be dipped in wax. I don't know how you do it to make the Inside of your van look so big. The blossoms are beautiful, it must smell wonderful. Bye Amanda, enjoy your travels.

Great video! - as always! I don't know if you saw the "natural" image at 3:48... on a small sandy part of the beach. It was a bit rotund and had a long nose; a bit like Pinocchio in that respect; I also saw a splintered piece of wood poking up out the second tree that you walked by before the bridge...15:23. It looked like dark eyes with a cap and a beak to me, LOL. I always keep an eye out for the heart rocks that you always seem to find and you actually "framed" it in this video 🙂 As usual thank you for all the nature and Frank couldn't be more adorable especially during the last few seconds of the video.
Im heading north from the island in May. It will be my first time in the Yukon and I cannot wait to see it. See you on the road!

You've got a pretty healthy comment section, your channel is growing! Also I tried LMNT and love it, and would have never considered it had it not been featured on your channel so many times. Its really a great product but I could see how it might not be for everyone? That goes for most things though. I think its xlnt and I can see myself using a TON more during the summer months. I wish it was a little cheaper though! That, also, goes for most things :-)

I love the way Frank surrenders to sleep. It is so comforting to watch. Man! I love the way your videos are looking. Such wonderful clarity and depth. You got an out loud, "Awww" from me with that shot of the heart rock cradled between your shoes. Great tutorial on firemaking! I hope it helps people improve their skills in that area. What a nice, casual Meet up. I hope they will all be this nice. Oh yeah, and my little grandaughter is practicing her sandwalking. One more Dune fan in the world. Did you know that Frank Herbert lived in this area and was very engaged with the local First Nations people? There is a park between Ruston Way and Pt. Defiance on the Tacoma waterfront. It's called Dune Peninsula.

The wriggly, many tentacled beings are sea anemones & the shells stuck to the rocks are limpets, a type of sea snail 🐌
