Jurassic World was a massive box office hit in 2016, so naturally we now have a sequel. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sees Chris Pratt and his character Animal-Loving-Navy-Guy reuinite with Bryce Dallas Howard’s Money-Lady (who is now Dinosaur Loving Lady, because reasons) They head back to Isla Nubar to save the dinos from a giant volcano that’s about to erupt. Kind of a big oversight for John Hammond to have built Jurassic Park on a volcano, but whatever! There are a lot of plot holes and questionable decisions into Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom - and we’d like to think they all originated from the pitch meeting itself! So step inside the pitch meeting that led to the latest installment in the Jurassic Park franchise. It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

I was wondering what happened to that island! Then again, I was wondering why in the world they build Jurassic World on an island with a volcano...
I can think of lots of places that are. Especially in places like Hawaii. Also Isla Sorna has a volcano too which is why they didn't take the dinosaurs there

Brook Hubbs Except it wouldn’t vent the gas. They were deep inside a building, and the ventilation system was down. It would have only slowed the gas at most.
Yeah... the gas was already killing them. Opening their cages was just necessary for them to later exit through the last big door

Perfect! Totally nailed everything that pissed me off about it, including the trailers showing the entire plot.
Yeah, I haven't seen the movie yet, so I held off on watching this particular Pitch. Now I see my concern at having the ending spoiled was needless.
Because of this I stopped watching trailers long ago, because they often give away key plotpoints, most of the jokes, every single big CGI shot, there's just no point in watching the rest of the movie

Well the so called science behind that was explained but also utter bs, there's no way different types of animals can be used to give blood to a different animal
T. Rex and Velociraptor happen to be related so, I think it's pretty likely they could do a blood transfusion.

So that doesn't make sense. There's no confirmation that that's what happens. In fact the opposite is more likely since we showed the pterodactyls leaving in movie three to very positive music. Implying that they left the island and all those dinosaurs go free...
(Which is crazy that everyone was legit cool with the pterodactyls leaving since...you know... THEIR HORRIFYING MONSTERS THAT LIKE TO EAT PEOPLE FOR FUN. Jurrassic World full on shows the proper reaction when they full on shoot one that was trying to leave the island.)

If it's not in the movies it's not good story telling, and it should not be officially "canon."
Why should I (or anyone really) take into account ANYTHING that is not discussed, or shown within a movie series? Especially something so important that the plot of 2/5 movies is based on its location at all? Isla Sorna DESERVES, at MINIMUM, a line of dialogue explaining the situation and why it's no longer a viable option in the movie. Excluding this is lazy film making.
It's like making a Star wars film and for an entire movie, NOT having them use a light sabers to fight or win their battle and not. Saying. Anything. About it. But in some official website saying "oh light savers were giving Luke an allergic reaction so he can't use them now."
Everyone would be pissed.

Regarding debating the same thing again, it is a different scenario and thoughts on the subject could have changed, especially when the original park didn't officially open but the last one was open for years (I think, quite awhile at least), which could make it a harder decision for them, and yet again there is someone with deep pockets interested in letting them die for their plan to work

I went to watch Fallen Kingdom in the hope that it would be just as "it's so bad it's good" as Jurassic World, but it was just plain old bad, sadly.

I love these too much! When I was younger, I used to spend my time laughing with my cousins who cracked hilarious (or lame-but-hilarious) jokes! Now that everyone has parted ways in the course of higher education, we seldom get back those moments of joy and laughter.
