How to Make Hot Process Goat Milk Soap Frankincense & Myrrh

Follow me and learn how to make hot process goat milk soap. This batch is a blend of frankincense and myrrh, lavender and tea tree. Great soap for eczema or any skin condition, dry skin in summer or winter.

Recipe for this soap is for a 5 lb batch.
27 oz Coconut oil
32 oz Olive oil
4 oz shea butter
2 oz Castor oil
1/2 tsp kaolin clay
9.55 oz lye
6 oz frozen goat milk
21.4 oz distilled water
Essential Oils are approximate
1/4 oz Tea Tree oil
1/4 oz myrrh
1/2 oz frankincense
1/2 oz lavender

i wanted to try to make soap but i really do not want to do it now that i know it involves handling a dangerous chemical. i thought all natural meant all natural. i am disappointed that you need lye to make soap. can you use something else instead of lye? there must be a way to make soap without chemicals. i mean, how did they make soap centuries ago? they definitely did not have any chemicals back then.

Lye has been around for centuries and is natural, it can be made at home with ashes. It’s referred to as a chemical however! Believe me I felt the same way when I started, then after a lot of research I found there is no way to make soap with the process of saponification which only occurs with lye and fat! Our forefathers made soap with rendered fats and homemade lye. ;) I dove in and learned how to safely make lye soap and it’s not dangerous as you would think! Just be smart and follow safety and it’s very safe! 1000s of people making soap at home!
