Thanks so much for your lovely video ! I appreciate your calm demeanor and rate of speech and the music, etc. Now all I need is a goat lol
You are most welcome :) Many supermarkets stock goat milk, and there's the farmers market, too. Having goats sounds fun, though 😁
I'm SO excited to make this soap tomorrow! I've been gathering ingredients and supplies and am finally ready! Thank you, Tanya!
You are so welcome!
Thank you for sharing this recipe! I have been interested in making goat milk soap for a long time and this recipe is great for beginners like me❤
Wow nice sharing❤❤❤❤
I love making and using goatmilk soaps ❤
They're so incredibly creamy 💚
I just used this recipe this morning and everything came out exactly how you show it on the video i cant wait for the two days to see if it looks like you'rs
Wonderful!
@@Lovelygreens I used a different one that i thought was yours it did not turn out so great. I did put in honey from our bees instead of essential oils I put it in at trace which didn't seem to change the soap process at all
Thank you☺️
Where do you get your essential oils?
In the UK, I prefer Naissance essential oils
What temp should the goat milk be at?
I made soap using your recipe for soap with daffodils
The color is actually beautiful :)
I did something similar with forsythia - the color is very similar :)
I'm from Poland and I follow your channel with pleasure🙂
Thank you so much, and YES, daffodil flower soap is such a lovely yellow. The color lasts indefinitely, too!
Forsythia turned out to be a similar color :)
I'm waiting for your next ideas
you inspired me once again
Thanks 🙂
Thank you so much for giving the recipe. the other pages I looked at were useless as they showed what they were doing without giving one the recipe so it was just a nice watch but a waste of time. thank you
My pleasure 😊
@@Lovelygreens my ingredients are arriving in the post and soon, soon I will have some home made soap! Yay😄
Where can I find the recipe for this? I'm interested in making it
Can I use 50/50 lye solution instead of dissolving the lye un water..also can I substitue the olive oil for sweet almond oil?
Sorry, no to the oil substitution. Too much sweet almond oil in soap recipes usually causes early rancidity in the bars. The lye and water amounts in this recipe are a 50/50 mix. Or are you talking about masterbatched lye solution?
Van I just double the recipe amd if so will it still turn out fine or should i just do 2 separate batches? Im new to this.
Go ahead and double it, and it will turn out perfectly. I recommend using the cavity molds for this recipe, though.
Thank you so much.
I use this recipe all the time.I double it and I use only loaf molds and it turns out fantastic.
how is this one different than the goat soap recipe on your website that has 107g lye?
It's a smaller batch
I'm curious how many batches you made before you successfully had a batch that came out like this? I tried it specifically made sure my temperatures were exactly within 9° of each other and immediately it seized up when I started blending. The lie solution was a couple of degrees cooler than the oils but they were within 5° of each other
This is a simple soap recipe, and it comes out perfectly every time for me. I suspect that you might be using a fragrance oil instead of an essential oil - they're notorious for causing seizing. One way to find out is to make this soap without fragrance and see.
@@Lovelygreens great idea! I figured I'd try it again, just to be sure it wasn't the temperature that was the issue. The bottle says that essential oils but I know it doesn't look the same as my name brand essential oils so it's possible that it's a cheaply made one or is in fact a fragrance oil. Thanks for your encouragement
How do I buy the bundle books?
Hi Maria, you can get them here lovelygreens--impactbundles.thrivecart.com/self-sufficient-living-bundle/
Can I use goat milk from the grocery store? I noticed my local grocery store recently started selling goats milk.
Yes, absolutely
I dont see last receiptes ho to find the info of ammount
It's in the video text description.
Question. Can I use breastmilk for this? I have a bunch from when my son was a baby and I hate to waste it.
Yes, you can for personal use :) Some people love breastmilk soap and say it's even creamier than goat milk.
@@Lovelygreens thank you!
Yeah I’m not looking to sell soaps. I just want something for my own use.
What was the temperature of the oils when you added the milk into the oil?
I'm pretty sure that I show the temperature reading in the video.
@@Lovelygreens I am sorry, I meant what was the temperature of the oils “before” or when you were putting the milk in the oil? I saw the temperature of 103 after the milk was added but not before.
In addition, can the milk be cold or at room temperature ?
Thank you 😊
@@natureescapesoapsalso wondering what temp the milk should be
How much extra superfat does this now make the soap, and is this the reason that i see people need to take days for it to stop being sticky...
It's just 5%. I rarely make soap with more than 6%, really. There's just no need when you're making a good balanced recipe.
