I feel you don’t get told enough. Thank you for these honest and thorough reviews. I appreciate how much time you take to do these. No favoritism and bs. 👍🏻👍🏻 MFJJ
I have had one for a year now, and am actually very happy with it,no flag shit but for the money mine has performed great and never gone outta tune or anything
Tried out this bow when I was shopping for a new bow in 2019. It felt like I was shooting a bow made from a 2X4. Ended up with a holdover Hoyt Hyperforce and to this day favorite bow I’ve owned
Love reviews of the mid price bows.. You should do more of them. With the prices go nuts and the manufacturers just flat out lying about speed.. I know you deal with prime do I review on the quest centec.
A great non flag ship bow is the Obsession HB33 bought one as a back up. Really surprised at the speed it pumps out. The feel isn't back either the only difference to my flag Elite Remedy is the draw cycle isn't as smooth. I'd love to see you review one for your impressions.
Every bow is different. Saying that, is there a possibility that you could give poundage changes when you turn the limb bolts down or up? Also max number of turns recommended. Thanks, you do a great job on your channel.
I can't lie. 20 years ago me would have went with a entry bow and maybe bought a mid priced bow. I was just more frugal back then. Present day me I go only flag ship. I am still frugal, however, I appreciate the quality and parts that go into the flagship models. That is why I just bought a Matthews V3X 29. I shot a few mid and the prime inline 1 and Hoyt Ventum Pro 30. I noticed all three of the flagships just felt better to me. I have learned over the years spend the money on your weapons. Cheaper may work, but I feel it is worth saving a bit more and getting the top level. When I bought my V3X 29 my bow shop had a V3 31 (2021) new for $950. One can always buy a new last year's flagship. I was willing to pay for the V3X 29 for the new features.
I started with a budget bow March 2021 to learn and decide if I liked archery. I learned what I did and didn't like and experimented with upgraded accessories. I shot thousands of arrows through it and decided this December to upgrade to a flagship bow. I too ended up with a V3x 29 and it is a night and day difference compared to my Misson Switch. I learned that typically you have to pay for quality and reliability in the precision rifle world. On a side note, I only paid 950 for my V3x which seemed like a steal.
@@s10v8dude I totally agree. I almost started with a entry bow. My friend sold me a used older flagship Prime Centroid. Little longer ATA then I wanted but I could feel the difference from the entry bows I shot.
Yo ! Loving all your vids. Just a headsup: you should bump up the sound volume in post prod. Your videos are the quietest and it makes the ads stupid loud ;)
Excellent video. I just bought the tactic from my local shop. New with no box for 500. It's just been sitting there waiting for a good home. Does anyone know the pounds per turn for the limb bolts? Great bow BTW. I was shooting a handmedown pse drive lt (for sale on ebay if anyone is interested 👍) and this mathews is a clear cut upgrade. Got it in b the realtree edge 70 # thanks again for all the great content!!! God bless
Hi Josh, I own a Mathew's Tactic and I love my Bow. The one thing I hate is the grip and on the Mathews Tactic Im told that the grip is not interchangeable. Can You help me out ?
I was told that the Tactic has top hats that only fit it, so the top hat master kit will not work with it. Is this true? I’m having a heck of a time tuning mine and I want to try changing the top hats.
PLEASE ANSWER THIS!!!!! If I turn my poundage down and crank the top 2 turns and the bottom just 1 and brought my bow to u how would u check for that if u didn't know what I had done?
Bear Cruiser is half the price and it will do the same speeds it is also the same axle to axle. I have to be honest if a customer is price sensitive any other brand will offer a much nicer bow for the same price or less. Mathews are not known for a good price performance ratio they have good top end models and this is it.
That brand chronograph has got to be slow or something else is off with lighting ect this same bow shoots faster ,@ 29 /70 on several other reviews I've seen

I have had my Tactic for a few years now - nice and handy in the tree or hide. Absolutely love it. No desire to change it for anything else.
Always good to see mid price bow reviews, there's a lot of us mid price people out here. Cheers for sharing!!
My 1st bow since getting back into archery. Bought 4 more since then but still my favourite little hunting bow
I have had one for a year now, and am actually very happy with it,no flag shit but for the money mine has performed great and never gone outta tune or anything
Thanks I bought one last year and 💚 mine
Love the Carbon Zion due to it’s weight and probably will purchase one as a back up and when I have walk more than normal

2023 that’s the bow I want.
Thank you for taking time to do these videos. When you have time could you please do one on Mathews top hats?
Subscribed! Great job🙏🏻
Really looking forward to the PSE Drive review
I bought a Mathews vertix and love it at 14
A comparison of the longer draw bows at 32” would be awesome for us bigger guys
Yeah basically a chill bow.

MFJJ got that 90's sitcom intro music going

You can buy $50 boots 10 times over the next 10 years, or $300 boots once. That line of thought works with everything in life.

pse embark is nice mid range bow as well
Woah!
I love the idea behind this. Any chance of a Hoyt Torrex? I know my local shop sells as many if not more torrex than the ventum

Could you do a bow sight setup from out of the package specifically spot Hogg triple stack
How often are the 2022 bow series videos comin out?
How about the Mission as a mid priced, grow into it, bow?
Or the Hoyt.
What release do you use? Why don’t many shop carry Bear bows as a mid price bow? Just wondering
I’m still sr350 guy for now.
Call me crazy, with how expensive bows are these days we’re about to see a budget manufacturer come out like Vortex did to start.
Hey what’s the chances of doing the Bear refine eko?
Hi Josh, I own a Mathew's Tactic and I love my Bow. The one thing I hate is the grip and on the Mathews Tactic Im told that the grip is not interchangeable. Can You help me out ?
I like that better than the flags
They get rid of the TX-5? That was another bow that kinda flew under the radar
Seems the Elite Terrain would be a better buy
Agree. Cheaper, lighter, more colors available and doesn't require to buy a mod to change the DL.
Like all you are doing
I CAN ONLY THINK OF ONE PERSON THIS BOW WOULD BE PERFECT FOR , KNOW WHAT I MEAN ? LMAO LOL !!!

Hows this compare to the hoyt torrex xt? Only $50 difference at my local shop. I'm planning on shooting both soon as well as the PSE Drive.
Which limb engage fits the tactic
Can you do the PSE EVO XF33?
Ok. So the orbital dampener isnt just a bow tech thing. Ok ok.
What release are you using Josh?
What release is that?
Josh what release are you using in this video? Thanks.

So why is he not allowed to sell flagship bows??
Pretty self explanatory
The rk mods are 85% and the silver rk mods are 75% 8-10fps faster with the 75's and dyad mods are just spongy n slow 😆
no audio
exactly Guess we need subtitles so we can follow along.
audio is working
is your audio working?
@@podiumarcher3447 Honestly watch the video. Others have commented as well. The volumes are incredibly low at best.
Need a mic on your shirt. Sound isn't good
